ARE EVA MENDES & RYAN GOSLING EXPECTING? Eva's been spotted with a suspiciously large bag held over her stomach. This has sparked speculation she's pregnant with her second child. The press have been going mad because Eva, 42, was papped holding a huge tote bag over her stomach as she walked along a street in Los Angeles to meet her long-term partner Ryan Gosling. Speaking shortly after the birth of Esmeralda, Eva confessed she loved the lack of sleep that comes with new motherhood. Maybe or maybe not congratulations to Eva and Ryan! JAY Z WALKS OUT ON BEYONCE… What's going on with Jay & Beyonce? We reported last month that they had had a massive fall out the saga continues… As Beyonce preps for her international Formation tour it seems that all is not well in the Jay Z/Beyonce household. According to reports, Jay has packed up and left the marital house to have some time alone after a series of arguments. This comes at the height of a divorce rumour mill that won't let up - first, Beyonce was spotted without her wedding tattoo at Kelly Rowland's birthday in March 2015. Then, the pair didn't acknowledge their wedding anniversary at all on social media, which sent the internet into meltdown. And now this... We hope the Z-Knowless sort it out soon. FIRST CLASS… Prince George is appearing on his first stamp after a secret photo shoot captured the Queen and her three direct heirs to commemorate Her Majesty's 90th birthday. The two-year-old future king had to stand on blocks to make him the right height for the picture. And while Prince George’s parents often describe him as “naughty”, the photographer who took the picture said he was a delight. What a cutie!

CELEBRITIES DYING IN 2016‌

2016 has felt like an unusually upsetting year for celebrity deaths. Is it the numbers, or the sheer status they held? So has 2016 really been a celebrity death 'epidemic'? Compared to the first quarter of last year, it seems as though a lot of celebs have died this year‌

Wikipedia: has an accurate chronicle of deaths and it also shows that 2016 got off to a very gloomy start. In reality a lot of these deaths are a case of strange coincidences and bad timing. Bowie had been ill (albeit in secret) for a long time. Alan Rickman, just days later shared a few similarities, including age, and sadly succumbing to cancer. He also, had kept his illness private.Victoria wood had a short battle with cancer that wss also kept very private. Here are just a few of the very famous people we have lost this year... January: David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Sir Terry Wogan February: Maurice White & Harper Lee March: Sir George Martin, Frank Sinatra Jr., Paul Daniels & Ronnie Corbett. April: David Gest, Victoria Wood & Prince

The US census bureau said that 76m people in 2014 belonged to the baby-boom generation - that's a staggering 23% of the population. Now, those famous former babies, aged between 52 and 70, are dying. Sadly it's a fact of life and there's nothing we can do about that. Let's just hope they don't keep coming at the rate we're witnessing right now.

least accessible corner.

LAW OF PROBABILITY: The probability of being watched is directly proportional to

the stupidity of your act.

LAW OF THE TELEPHONE: When you dial a wrong number, you never get a busy signal.

LAW OF THE ALIBI: If you tell the boss you were late for work because you had a flat tyre, the very next morning you will have a flat tyre. VARIATION LAW: If you change traffic lanes, the one you were in will start to move faster that the one you are in now (works every time). LAW OF CLOSE ENCOUNTERS: The

Furniture Packages There are many reasons for choosing a furniture package for your holiday home or in some cases your first home. Here at White Design Company we have many clients with busy lifestyles. They do not want to spend precious holiday time going from shop to shop, selecting furnishings and decoration for their new or existing property. Not only do you have to shop around but you also have to be here to coordinate the delivery or fitting. Most of the work we do is when you, the owner, is back in your home country. So nice to turn the key in the lock when you arrive and know you can relax and have a holiday. Our experienced staff will help you with your bespoke furniture package and we can do most of it by email, allowing you the time to relax when you are here. Whether you want a modern, contemporary or classical look or maybe shabby chic or the industrial look to mention but a few, we will put a package together to suit your requirements.

18

We are asked often at the very start of our designs how much a package will cost. This really depends on your budget and the quality and style you are looking for. There are some areas where you should consider spending a little bit more to allow comfort and longevity.

Beds are a very important investment, for example you may rely on a holiday rental income, if so then a comfortable bed may make all the difference as to whether your tenants return. A good sofa is also an important purchase as it is a big thing to have to replace a few years down the road. Last but not least, your terrace furniture will be subjected to all weathers so consider the quality here as well. Some all weather outdoor furniture can last for years if you go for good quality and it is looked after. The good news is that we can make the overall look beautiful with inexpensive decorative pieces such as pictures, mirrors, lamps etc. and they will stand the test of time making all the difference in keeping the overall cost as low as possible. Also, together with your larger items we are happy to bring a few decorative pieces for you to see in situ before committing to them. Remember White Design Company can provide everything, from the kitchen sink to your bespoke curtains and bedding. We will work on your requirements and remember Bespoke doesn’t mean it will be out of your budget.

Look forward to seeing you soon,Dilys.

LAW OF COFFEE/TEA: As soon as you sit down to a cup of hot coffee or tea, your boss will ask you to do something, which will last until the coffee/tea is cold.

LAW OF DIRTY RUGS/CARPETS: The chances of an open jam sandwich landing face down on a floor covering are directly correlated to the newness and cost of the carpet/rug.

WILSON’S LAW: As soon as you find a product you really like, they will stop making it.

LAW OF THE RESULT: When you try to prove to someone that a machine, computer, motor etc... won’t work, it will.

CRIMEAN RULE: At any event, the people whose seats are furthest from the aisle arrive last. LAW OF LOGICAL ARGUMENT:

Rent for the Apartment…

A young man met a beautiful girl in a bar and she agreed to spend the night with him if he paid her 500€. Before he left the next morning, he told her that he didn’t have any cash with him, but that he would have his secretary write a cheque and post it to her, calling the payment ‘RENT FOR THE APARTMENT’.

On the way to his office he regretted what he had promised, deciding that the whole event was not worth the price. So, he had his secretary send a cheque for 250€ and enclosed the following note: ‘Dear Madam, Enclosed find a cheque for 250€ for ‘rent of your apartment’. I am not sending the amount agreed upon because when I rented the apartment I was under the impression that: 1) It had never been occupied. 2) That there was plenty of heat. 3) That it was small enough to make me cosy and feel at home.

“Mrs Jones please can you make a cheque out for 250 euros”.

Last night however, I found it had be previously occupied, that there was no heat, and it was entirely too large.’ Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately returned the cheque with the following note: ‘Dear Sir, First of all, I cannot understand how to expect a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied indefinitely. As for the heat, there is heat if you know how to turn it on. Regarding the space, the apartment is, indeed, of regular size, but if you don’t have enough furniture to fill it, please don’t blame the landlady!’

No need to cool air when there is no-one there. With the introduction of the new laws for rental properties in Spain, all rental properties must be fitted with air conditioning to the bedrooms and lounge areas to maintain a specified minimum temperature. Esola Systems have been operating in the Costa del Sol for over 10 years, providing the best economical air conditioning systems for domestic and commercial properties. We are pleased to be able to supply for our customers the comprehensive range of Ecosense PIR Sensors to control your air conditioning. Unlike other sensors, the Ecosense sensors are tamper proof, and maintenance free and have a night mode included. These sensors are very competitively priced and are used by the leading rental agencies.

”Quite simply Ecosense will monitor a room to see if it's

being used, if it's not then Ecosense will switch off your air conditioning by means of emulating the off function of your A/C remote controller. This ensures that the A/C unit goes through its correct shut down procedure.

Esola Systems also continues to support Concept Building (Southern) Ltd in the UK on projects in places such as Southampton University and Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

Ecosense 4000+ • Reduces energy costs by up to 80% • Universally compatible with all remotely controlled air conditioning units • Mains powered (110- 230 V) • Multiple setting options • Key coded for secure access • Tamper proof infrared connectivity • Includes 1 x door / window sensor • RF communication with additional optional accessories

GADGETS &Gizmo’s Solar Impulse 2 has finished crossing the Pacific. The sunlight-powered aircraft arrived in San Francisco Pilot Bertrand Piccard had to travel 2,717 miles from Hawaii, with only short naps allowed during the 3-day expedition. The next leg to is to New York in June and then a further 3,566 miles to Europe. That's a straight 5 days in the air. After that, the plane will complete its around-the-world mission by heading to Abu Dhabi. However, speed isn't really the point. It’s to show that green energy can accomplish as spectacular a feat as flying across the planet. What would happen if you combined The Hunger Games with Jurassic Park? That's the idea behind Survival of the Fittest, a game based on ARK: Survival Evolved. The so-called "Multiplayer Online Survival Arena" title launched on PC last month, and now it's headed towards the PlayStation 4. The release will come with some new additions including a splitscreen multiplayer. It'll also support Survivor League, an eSports-style ranking system that doles our cash prizes every month. If you're the competitive type it should be great fun! At 59.99€, Amazon's Fire tablet is incredible value and a device "that sets a benchmark for budget slates." It was so cheap, in fact, that Amazon tried to sell them like a six-pack of beer. Now, the company is back with some new colours: magenta, blue and tangerine there is a 16GB option for those that want to download more than a handful of apps. To get the double storage, however, you'll need to pay an extra 20€. It's nothing fancy, but for the absolute basics like browsing the web, checking emails and some video streaming it should do the job just fine.

Denon debuted its Heos line of speakers nearly two years ago, a set of audio gear that looked to rival multi-room setups like Sonos and others. Now Denon is giving the speakers a bit of a boost by adding some new features. The new Heos lineup sports the same model names and exterior design as Series 1 that arrived back in 2014. However, what has changed is the addition of high-res audio and Bluetooth connectivity. What's more, you can add any of the new HS2 gear to first-gen Heos speakers that you already own without having worry about compatibility issues.

All the latest in the world of tech and gaming... Magic Instruments have built a new kind of guitar. The Bluetooth-connected brainchild a "digital rhythm guitar," is to let anyone to feel the thrill of playing music and is due to go on on sale early next year. It gets you playing music quickly to easily experience the unique joy that comes with powering through a Bon Jovi tune in one shot. The Magic Instruments' formula has two parts. The first is a big plastic guitar nearly indistinguishable from a normal electric guitar. The other half of the setup is an app for iOS or Android that contains the equivalent of sheet music. You can buy songs individually or for a monthly payment.

The University of Science and Technology of China has recently unveiled an eerily realistic robot named Jia Jia who can talk and interact with real humans, & make some facial expressions - she can even tell you off if she senses you're taking an unflattering picture of her. "Don't come too close to me when you are taking a picture. It will make my face look fat," she told someone trying to capture her photo during the presscon. They've yet to figure out how to make her laugh or cry... Team leader Chen Xiaoping said they hope to give her deep learning & facial recognition capabilities in the future. Late last year, New Balance introduced its first 3D-printed running shoe. New Balance has announced that the Zante Generate are now available to consumers, albeit in extremely limited form. There are only 44 pairs total, so you'll have to act fast if you want one. With a 3D-printed midsole, made from laser sintering powder and DuraForm TPU, the trainer is designed to conform differently based on each individual's attributes (height, weight and more) making the trainer get "optimal" comfort. Even though the Priv fell flat, BlackBerry is still trucking along with Android. The troubled company now plans to launch two mid-range Android phones later this year. One phone will feature a physical keyboard, while the other will be a completely touchscreen device, according to BlackBerry CEO John Chen. The potential $400 price, would be a huge discount from the Priv, which launched at $699. Chen also isn't giving up the idea of selling off BlackBerry's handset division if it doesn't shape up.

The Farmers Strife...

A farmer is sitting in the local bar slowly getting drunk. A man comes in and asks the farmer, "Hey, why are you sitting here on this beautiful day getting drunk?” The farmer says, "Some things you just can't explain.” "So what happened that is so horrible?" the man asked. The farmer then decides to try an answer, “Well if you must know, today I was sitting by my cow milking her. Just as I got the bucket about full, she took her left leg and kicked it over.” "That's not so bad, what's the big deal?” The farmer relenting, continued "I took her left leg and tied it to the post on the left with some rope. Then I sat down and continued to milk her. Just as I got the bucket about full she took her right leg and kicked it over.” "So, what did you do then?" then man asked, intrigued. "I took her right leg and tied it to the post on the right. I sat back down and continued to milk her, and just as I got the bucket just about full, the stupid cow knocks over the bucket with her tail.” "Wow, you must have been pretty upset!" but that's no reason to just sit here getting all depressed, what else did you do?" "Well I didn't have any more rope, so I took off my belt and tied her tail to the rafter. That's when my pants fell down and my wife walked in... Some things you just can't explain.

It’s a Dogs life...

Airport Sniffer Dogs Aren't Very Good At Their Jobs, They Keep Finding Cheese Instead Of Drugs - The dogs at Manchester Airport are more likely to remove Dairylea

Dunkers from your person than the Class A drugs you've smuggled all the way from Columbia. According to Metro newspaper, sniffer dogs at Manchester Airport failed to detect Class A drugs yet were able to locate holidaymakers' cheese and sausages, according to a new report. During a six-month training period, the dogs failed to sniff out any heroin or cocaine. The six dogs, who cost £1.25 million to house and operate, were trained to detect either money, products of animal origin (POAO), tobacco or drugs. Over the period the dogs helped seize more than 46,000 cigarettes, 60kg of tobacco, 181kg of illegal meat, and £28,000 cash. 'When deployed, the POAO dog made multiple accurate detections, but most were of small amounts of cheese or sausages, wrongly brought back by returning British holidaymakers and posing minimal risk to UK public health,' the report said. The report then notes there were no Class A drugs detections in the period November 2014 to June 2015.The report concluded there needed to be a review of which flights were targeted and how the dogs were best used. Still, they probably looked cute.

MOLES…

A mole (melanocytic naevus) is a small, brown growth in your skin. Moles are usually circular or oval-shaped and almost every adult has at least a few. They are usually harmless, but occasionally a type of skin cancer (called melanoma) can grow in or near a mole. Skin cancers may also occur in skin without a previous mole. Here on the Costa del Sol we get a lot more sun than most so it’s best to seek medical assitance if you are unsure of any new moles you get. So if a new mole develops, it's important to let your doctor know.

PROBLEM MOLES... WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR:

Moles arise in your skin where cells called melanocytes have grouped together. Melanocytes produce a pigment called melanin which gives your skin its colour – where they cluster together your skin is darker. You may have moles when you're born but they usually develop later in childhood. They may change shape or colour over time and some may even go away when you get older.

Moles vary in colour from flesh-coloured to dark brown. They may be raised or have hairs growing out of them. You can have a mole anywhere on your body including your palms and soles, your scalp, your eyes and even under your nails. There are many different types of moles. Some types look very similar to one another and it can be hard to tell them apart. They can also be confused with other skin conditions such as freckles and warts, and a type of birthmark called a haemangioma. Moles that you're born with are called congenital moles. They are usually at least 1cm across but can be much bigger. As you grow, they tend to grow with you and may become more raised and hairier as you get older.

SOME OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES ARE DESCRIBED BELOW:

•JUNCTIONAL MELANOCYTIC NAEVI ARE FLAT AND ROUND. They are usually mid to dark brown.

•COMPOUND MELANOCYTIC NAEVI ARE SLIGHTLY RAISED AND ARE OFTEN HAIRY. Their colour can vary.

•INTRADERMAL MELANOCYTIC NAEVI ARE RAISED BUMPS AND OFTEN HAIRY. They may not be any darker than the rest of your skin.

•BLUE NAEVI ARE DARK BLUE AND ARE USUALLY FOUND ON YOUR FACE, HANDS OR FEET. •ATYPICAL (ALSO CALLED DYSPLASTIC) NAEVI HAVE AN ASYMMETRIC APPEARANCE (one half doesn’t match the other), contain several colours of pigment , often larger than other moles.

•HALO NAEVI ARE MORE COMMON IN CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS.

They occur when your immune system rejects the mole, which causes the mole to disappear. A ring of pale skin often surrounds the mole.

•YOU MAY DEVELOP SEBORRHOEIC WARTS (KERATOSES) LATER IN LIFE. They aren't actually moles, although they are often mistaken for them.

If you’re worried about a mole, see your DOCTOR. He or she will ask about your symptoms and examine you. He or she may also ask you about your medical history. Your DOCTOR may ask you to regularly take a photo of your mole alongside a clear plastic ruler and see if it’s changed. Alternatively your DOCTOR might do this for you. This is called mole mapping. There are also lots of clinics that offer a mole mapping service.

Medical Mayhem

Mongolian VD: An American tourist goes on a trip to China. While

in China, he is very sexually promiscuous and does not take any precautions. A week after arriving back home he awakens one morning to find his man sausage covered with bright green and purple spots. Horrified, he immediately goes to see his doctor..... The doctor, never having seen anything like this before, orders some tests and tells the man to return in two days for the results. The man returns a couple of days later and the doctor says, "I've got bad news for you. You've contracted Mongolian VD. It's very rare and almost unheard of here. We know very little about it." The man looks a little relieved and says, "Well, give me a shot or something and fix me up doc." The doctor answers, "I'm sorry, there's no known cure other than to amputate your manhood." The man screams in horror, "Oh no! I want a second opinion!" The doctor replies, "Well it's your choice. Go ahead if you want, but surgery is your only choice." The next day, the man seeks out a Chinese doctor, figuring that he'll know more about the disease. The Chinese doctor examines his parts and proclaims, "Ah yes, Mongolian VD. Very rare disease." The guy says to the doctor, "Yeah, yeah, I already know that, but what can you do? My American doctor wants to operate and amputate my privates!" The Chinese doctor shakes his head and laughs, "Stupid American doctor! American doctor, always want to operate. Make more money, that way." "Then there's no need to operate? Oh, thank God!" the man replies. "Yes!" says the Chinese doctor, "You no worry! Wait two weeks, it fall off by itself!"

SUPERBOATS...

62

Super boats by super car manufacturers: Aston Martin’s collaboration with Quintessence Yachts on the handbuilt AM37 which is true to its roadbased cousins. The boat will be packing some serious punch, with the twin 600hp Mercury petrols – delivering enough grunt for nearly 60 knots flat out. Two versions of the 11.28m boat will be built initially — the AM37, being sold as a grand tourer, and the speedier AM37 S. The models will be built in resin-infused composite with structural elements made in carbon fibre. Further models are also in the pipeline. The makers of the world’s fastest production super sports car, Bugatti, and the world’s largest motor yacht builder, Palmer Johnson, have a new join project. They have designed a new series of stunning and elegant open carbon-fibre sport yachts, featuring distinctive Bugatti design elements and advanced materials. The series bears the Niniette name and is available in three models from 42ft to 88ft. Prices for the smallest model start at €2 million. The design is characterised by the falling shoulder line of the Bugatti Type 57 C Atalante and the balanced proportions of the Type 41 Royale. The Lancia di Lancia was the first true real example of nautical and automobile design. Unveiled at the 66th international Venice Film Festival and used to transport some of Hollywood’s most famous stars, it was built by Master boat builders Sacs and is a covertable GT for the seas. Fitted with a retractable hard top and featuring Martini racing stripes, this thoroughbred exceeds 50 knots. The Jaguar Concept Speedboat was built to complement and accompany the XF Sportbrake. The beautifully built boat, is composed of a fiberglass hull finished with a teak deck. The prominent carbon fiber fin that reminds us of the company's legendary D-Type is particularly nice work. The familiar leaping cat badge is on the back deck and the fuel filler caps were inspired by the Series 1 XJ. Unfortunately there are no plans to put it into production. For almost a decade, Mercedes and Cigarette Racing have been partnering on high-powered, high-speed boats that showcase the best of both brands. Their latest effort, the Cigarette Racing Team 41' SD GT3, features AMG racing livery to match the GT3 car, a complete teak floor, a full marine grade leather interior and matte components. The 1,100-hp Mercury Racing engines provides a top speed of over 85 knots.

OLD iPHONES ARE ACTUALLY WORTH AN ABSOLUTE FORTUNE Remember the first iPhone? Or even the second or third? Back in the day they were all anyone ever wanted, but as we know times move fast and now they're pretty much obsolete. Because Apple release so many updates for iPhones, iPads and all of their products, a lot of devices end up being left untouched in a draw. In Apple's latest environmental report they revealed that they managed to salvage just under 1,000 kilos of gold from recycled iPhones, iPads and Macs. Gold is used in electronic devices because its a good conductor of electricity and is fairly nonreactive,

meaning it doesn't corrode easily. According to New York Gold Spot Price ÂŁ28,000 is what you can get for a kilo of gold. If you're a bit strapped for cash right now though, don't try to smash your phone apart to take the gold out of it. There's nowhere near enough in one handset to make you millions. Apple actually have their very own robot called Liam which takes apart all the recycled devices and extracts the metal. Despite the literal gold mine Apple are sitting on, they're not using it to cash in; they're reusing the materials for new devices.

Sterling has extended its gains against both the Euro and the US Dollar this week as momentum gathers behind the Remain vote.

The boost to Sterling’s value has been due to increased risk sentiment within global markets which has been reflected in stock markets, also recent polls coming out of the UK suggest that the ‘remain’ camp is in the lead this news has been received well by investors. The UK Government have been working hard to sway voters into remaining in the EU, and much of the ‘remain’ camps recent support could be due to The Treasury’s claims that the UK economy could shrink by 6% by 2030 if they leave, costing the average household £4,300 per year.

A look at what's in store for you during May 2016...

Capricorn

Aquarius

Aquarius, during the first two weeks of May 2016 the Sun, Venus and Jupiter are in your sign they bring with them love and harmony. So expect a happy term in your relationship. The key words for the month of May 2016 Aquarius are love and fun. May 2016 attracts you toward investments maybe. It could accentuate real-estate business any of these areas could be financially productive. You shouldn’t rely on popularity or support though this month unfortunately you are on you’re own. You’re on your own now. Don’t do business with friends it will end up going wrong at this time. You could feel more agitated, maybe even a bit more tense, but you’re in pretty good shape physically, and your morale is pretty high. If you’re in need of relaxing you find them in the peace of your home and in the middle of your family.

Pisces

Pisces, May 2016 promises you opportunity and happiness. Mercury and Venus are in your sign for the greater part of the month. Mercury has something special planned up its sleeve to surprise you in some way. During the second part of May 2016 expect a significant event or a change in the current situation. On the work and finance front Mars and Saturn put you’re career to the test: obstacles could be put in your path or you just feel overwhelmed with responsibilities. The good news is that you can count on the support of others. Just ask and help will be given. You make money mostly together with others or with their help. You’ll enjoy pretty good physical shape this month and a blossoming morale even some might say too cheerful!

It was fascinating.’The teacher said, ‘that was good, but I wanted you to use the word “fascinate”, not “ fascinating”. Sally raised her hand. She said, “my family went to the art gallery and I was fascinated”. The teacher said, ‘that was very good Sally, but I wanted you to use the word “fascinate”. Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because she had been caught out by little Johnny before. She finally decided there was no way he could damage the word “fascinate”, so she called on him to answer. Johnny said, ‘my aunt Gina has a sweater with ten buttons, but her boobs are so big she can only fasten eight.’ The teacher sat down and cried.
