Ed’s Note..

Well is fair to say that autumn is here as are the long trousers and jumpers! It’s getting darker much earlier now… the weather knows that the clocks have gone back and now it’s got a bit colder, it really feels like winter is on its way! I can’t believe November is here already this year really has sped by especially since we were in lockdown for three months. The good news is that a vaccine is on its way and hopefully life will get back to the “new normal” now… Please check out one of our new advertisers “Angeles Malagueños de la Noche” on pages 20 & 21. They are a charity that supplies hot meals to the less fortunate and at the moment lots of people need a bit of extra help. If you have any items on the list to spare then give generously. If your need to boost your business for the festive period, give us a shout, we have some great deals on advertising for the winter and with the coverage & popularity that we have, what would be the point of advertising anywhere else? Have a great month!

THE CROWN SEASON FOUR... So get ready for everything you need to know about season four of The Crown. Pennyworth's Emma Corrin has taken on the role as Princess Diana. Diana will be central to the plot with us seeing the 1st official visit and Diana's first time overseas. In a timeline this is just before the 1980s Margaret Thatcher became prime minister in 1979 and will chart the lion's share of the decade, which means we'll see all of her reign given that she remained in office until 1990 (Margaret Thatcher to be played by Gillian Anderson). Also we have the love triangle between Charles, Camilla and Diana… Roll out the red carpet - Season four of The Crown will arrive on Netflix on Sunday, November 15th.

STRANGER THINGS SEASON FOUR... It may have been a while since The Battle of Starcourt Mall played out in season three’s explosive finale, but Stranger Things fans are officially getting excited again now with news that the cast and crew are filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Netflix revealed that Hooper is still alive: “He is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything….” Season Four is expected to be released in July 2021! 007 LICENCE TO STREAM... Netflix and Apple ‘bid for rights to stream new James Bond film’ in a blow for struggling cinemas. Its release was moved to this month and now again to April 2021 due to Covid. We’ll have to wait and see but MGM insisted: “The film is not for sale.”

As far as they’re concerned, they’re happy to do a smaller, intimate ceremony instead, or else wait until the following year, but Victoria is keen to press ahead.

A young ventriloquist... A young ventriloquist is touring the clubs and one night he's doing a show in Edinburgh...

With his dummy on his knee, he starts going through his usual dumb blonde jokes when a blonde woman in the 4th row stands on her chair and starts shouting: "I've heard enough of your stupid blonde jokes. What makes you think you can stereotype women that way? What does the colour of a person's hair have to do with her worth as a human being? It's lads like "There once w as a you who keep women like me from being blonde ...!" respected at work and in the community and from reaching our full potential as a person. Because you and your kind continue to perpetuate discrimination against not only blondes, but women in general and all in the name of humour!" The embarrassed ventriloquist begins to apologise, and the blonde yells, "You stay out of this mister! I'm talking to that little bugger on your knee."

Dear Dad...

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see that his bed was made and everything was tidy. Then he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that was addressed to "Dad." With the worst premonition he opened the envelope with trembling hands and read the letter.

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mum and you.I have found “the one” in Emma and I love her. I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, tight leather clothes and the fact that she is much older than I am. But it's not only a silly school boy crush... Dad, she's pregnant. Emma said that we will be very happy. She owns a caravan in the woods and has a big enough stack of firewood to last the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children and claiming benefits for them all. Emma has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other people that live nearby for cocaine and heroin. Don't worry Dad. I'm 14 and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get to know your grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Love Your Son Johnny

PS. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I Just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than my school report, which is on the side. I love you.......call me when it's safe to come home!!

CHEAPEST BEER in town...

Michael O’Leary, Chief Executive of Ryanair after arriving in a hotel in Manchester went to the bar and asked for a pint of Guinness...

The barman said, "That will be £1 please, Mr. O’Leary." Taken aback, O'Leary replied, "That's very cheap," and handed over his money. "We do try to stay ahead of the competition", said the barman. "We have the cheapest beer in England". That is remarkable value", Michael comments.

"I see you don't have a glass, you'll need one of ours. That will be £3 please." O'Leary scowled, but paid up. He took his drink and walked towards a seat. "Ah, you want to sit down?" said the barman. "That'll be an extra £2. If you'd pre-booked it would have cost £1." O'Leary swore to himself, but paid up. "I see you've brought your laptop" added the barman. "That wasn't pre-booked either, that's another £3."

! INT P A

O'Leary was so incensed and his face was red with rage. "I've had enough! I insist on speaking to a manager!"

"Here is his e-mail address, or if you wish, you can contact him between 9.00 am and 9.01am every morning, Monday to Tuesday. Calls are free, unless answered, then there is a charge of only £1 per second".

"I will never use this bar again"."OK but do remember, we are the only hotel in England selling pints for £1."

After the fairytale Cinderella is now 95 years old...

After a fulfilling life with the now dead prince, she happily sits upon her rocking chair, watching the world go by from her front porch, with a cat named Bob for companionship.

One sunny afternoon out of nowhere, appeared the fairy godmother. Cinderella said, "Fairy Godmother, what are you doing here after all these years"? The fairy godmother replied, "Cinderella, you have lived an exemplary life since I last saw you. Is there anything for which your heart still yearns?" Cinderella was taken aback, overjoyed, and after some thoughtful consideration, she uttered her first wish: "The prince was wonderful but not much of an investor. I'm living hand to mouth on my disability checks, and I wish I were wealthy beyond comprehension". Instantly her rocking chair turned into solid gold. Cinderella said, "Ooh, thank you, Fairy Godmother". The fairy godmother replied "it is the least that I can do. What do you want for your second wish?" Cinderella looked down at her frail body, and said, "I wish I were young and full of the beauty and youth I once had." At once, her wish became reality, and her beautiful young visage returned. After the fairytale

Continued from page 28...

Cinderella felt stirrings inside of her that had been dormant for years. And then the fairy godmother spoke once more: "You have one more wish; what shall it be?" Cinderella looks over to the frightened cat in the corner and says, "I wish for you to transform Bob, my old cat, into a kind and handsome young man." Magically, Bob suddenly underwent so fundamental a change in his biological make-up that, when he stood before her, he was a man so beautiful the likes of him neither she nor the world had ever seen. The fairy godmother said, "Congratulations, Cinderella, enjoy your new life. With a blazing shock of bright blue electricity, the fairy godmother was gone as suddenly as she appeared. For a few eerie moments, Bob and Cinderella looked into each other's eyes. Cinderella sat, breathless, gazing at the most beautiful, stunningly perfect man she had ever seen. Then Bob walked over to Cinderella, who sat transfixed in her rocking chair, & held her close in his young muscular arms. He leaned in close, blowing her golden hair with his warm breath as he whispered.............BET YOU'RE SORRY YOU NEUTERED ME.

TOR Y OF A F ART S E H T A fart is a pleasant thing... It gives the belly ease... It warms the bed in winter... And suffocates the fleas. A fart can be quiet... A fart can be loud... Some leave a powerful... Poisonous cloud A fart can be short... Or a fart can be long... Some farts have been known... To sound like a song... A fart can create...

A most curious medley... A fart can be harmless... Or silent...and deadly... A fart might not smell... While others are vile... A fart may pass quickly... Or linger a while... A fart can occur... In a number of places... And leave everyone there... With strange looks on their faces. From wide-open prairie... To small elevators... A fart will find all of us sooner or later.

MEDICAL MAYHEM

THE GENERAL... The general was confined to the military hospital for treatment of a minor malady. For almost a week he made a complete nuisance of himself, irritating both staff and the other patients, demanding attention and expecting his every order to be followed immediately. He was in a six-man ward rather than a private room, his meals were too cold or not served to suit his taste, the light needed to be adjusted to his demands, the nighttime activities interfered with his rest... and on, and on. One afternoon an orderly entered the room. "Time to take your temperature, General." After growling at the orderly, the general opened his mouth to accept the thermometer. "Sorry, General, but for this test we need your temperature from the other end." A whole new barrage of verbal abuse followed, but the orderly was insistent that a rectal temperature was what the test called for. The general at last rolled over, bared his rear, and allowed the orderly to proceed. The orderly then told the general, "Stay exactly like that and don't move. I'll be back in five minutes to check up on you" and withdrew. An hour later, the head nurse entered the room, saw the general with his bare rear in the air and gasped, "What's going on here?" "Haven't you ever seen someone having their temperature taken?" the general barked. "Yes I have, General, but with a daffodil?"

TAKE BETTER NAPS BY DRINKING CAFFEINE FIRST!

NAP TIP #1: DRINK COFFEE PRIOR TO THE NAP

Yes, apparently it's true. We’ve all heard time and again how caffeine is no good too close to bedtime if you want sound sleep. But what about a nap? If you’re looking to boost productivity by 34% and increase alertness by 54% in 26 dreamy minutes, this article is for you. The findings, discovered by NASA research, will be welcomed by those working from home, sleep deprived, or both (aka, all of us). And while NASA didn’t use coffee in that particular study, clinical research pinpoints that yes, caffeine is actually is more effective than a nap (or coffee) on its own.

body has significantly high levels of sleep-promoting hormone adenosine (see above), making you feel tired. Second, melatonin starts to be produced, again, driving fatigue. Third, it’s likely your morning coffee has worn off. And what if you want to nap later than 5pm? Don’t. You need at least a six-hour block between nap time and bedtime to avoid difficulties falling asleep that night.

Caffeine takes 20 minutes to reach the brain. That’s about the ideal length of a nap. Once it does reach the brain, caffeine boosts mental and physical energy because it reduces the activity of adenosine, a sleeppromoting hormone. Just like melatonin, adenosine signals to the brain that we are tired and need to sleep. NAP TIP #4: However, with caffeine, adenosine isn’t able to do its job HAVE A NAP KIT ON HAND properly - biochemically, it doesn’t reach the brain. Sleep mask? Check. Noise-cancelling headphones? Hence, we forget we are tired, and you feel more alert. Check. Sleep music app? Check. Pre-nap caffeine hit? Check. Travel pillow? Check. As always, preparation is NAP TIP #2: key. Keeping your nap kit stocked and ready to go is a KEEP IT SHORT Ever woken up from a nap and felt drunk? As noted in sure-fire way to optimise your nap and each inclusion academic research, you’re experiencing sleep inertia; has its own purpose. A sleep mask blocks out light, the feeling of grogginess upon waking. And the reason is which will otherwise keep you awake. Essentially, light that you’ve taken too long a nap and awoken during slow increases the stimulating hormone serotonin, so if you wave sleep (deep sleep). WARNING SIGNS OF A STROKE...

The 6 warning signs that show a stroke is coming and It’s really important to know them. Cerebral Stroke is a leading cause of serious disability. But there are ways to prevent it if you are careful about a few things in your daily life. Here are a few signs you should not miss to prevent an upcoming stroke. Having a stroke is similar to a heart attack, but in this case, it attacks your brain. Actually, a cerebral stroke happens when some parts of the brain are interrupted and that makes our body unable to function normally. The affected part of the brain needs urgent medical attention as its important for the brain to get a continuous supply of oxygen to be able to function normally. The symptoms of a stroke usually develop quickly but it can sometimes take hours or even days to notice that something is wrong. So, if you think that you may be experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s important not to ignore it, even if some of them don’t seem too serious.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE: High blood pressure can lead to severe problems like a stroke by damaging the brain nerves or weakening the blood vessel and leading to a leak or rupture. Apart from that, high blood pressure is the reason for clot formation in the bloodstream and leading them to the brain, causing a stroke in the process.

VISION PROBLEMS: Stroke can cause double vision, loss of vision in one eye, or blurred vision. When about 1,300 people during a survey in the UK were asked, they all remembered blurred vision/vision problems as a strong indicator. NUMBNESS ON ONE SIDE OF THE BODY — FACE, HANDS, OR LEGS: It is common to have numbness or weakness in the face, an arm, or a leg on either side of the body. In some cases, there can also be paralysis on the opposite side of where the stroke occurred in the brain.

DIZZINESS OR FATIGUE WITHOUT A REASON: In a study, it is shown that vertigo and dizziness is also a common factor among patients who had a stroke. The state of confusion could be the result of the affected brain side.

A SUDDEN MIGRAINE OR A SEVERE HEADACHE: During a stroke, the blood flow to the brain is either blocked or cut off due to an interruption caused in the bloodstream. That can cause a vessel tear or damage resulting in a very sudden migraine or a headache.

STIFFNESS IN THE NECK OR SHOULDER PAIN: A ruptured blood vessel in the brain can cause a stiff neck or shoulder. If you are unable to touch your chin to your chest (considering you’re not obese or have any other condition), go and see a doctor immediately.

WHY ARE MEN RELUCTANT TO SEEK MEDICAL HELP?

A survey carried out by Everyman Male Cancer Charity suggested that nearly twice as many men as women had not visited their Doctors in the past year. Evidence suggests fewer men go to the Dentist or the pharmacists for advice and information, or attend clinics, although men are more likely to end up in hospital because they delay seeking medical advice.

Even male cancer helplines are used more by women, seeking advise on behalf of partners, fathers or sons and the fact that more women get skin cancer than men, but more men die from it indicates how late men are going to the doctors.

Men could really learn from women about attitudes to health!!

Historically women have always been the custodians of health. They have cervical and breast screening and they take the kids to the GP. As generally men don’t do any of that, they are much more reluctant to seek help when they have symptoms.

Cancer survival rates in the UK are amongst the lowest in Europe, this is generally because the British don’t have a pro-active approach to their healthcare needs and seek medical assistance later. In Spain the medical facilities were recently voted 2nd out of all EU member states, in their prevention and treatment of cancer.

Men tend not to talk about health preferring to discuss the game at the weekend, their car or a partner. Even politics is a more popular subject than health!

In this recent survey it was found that men are going to the doctors with very advanced cancers and thus decreased survival rates. Generally survival is 60:40 when it could be as much as 99:1.

Evidence yet again that we all need to take a much more pro-active approach to our health. Prevention and early detection is your best form of defense!!

“Taking risks and thinking nothing bad will happen is even seen as being part and parcel of being a man.”

PUMPKIN PIE WITH STEM GINGER CREAM It’s Thanks Giving this month so why not try a classic American dessert and make it fit for a dinner party feast, with stem ginger cream & pumpkin seed brittle...

Ingredients:

For the filling • 1 small pumpkin or squash

Method:

For the crust •50g pumpkin seeds (dried seeds best) (roughly 500g/1lb 2oz), peeled, •300g pack ginger nut biscuits seeds removed, cut into large chunks •2 balls stem ginger, roughly chopped • 2 large eggs and 1 egg yolk •85g butter, melted • 170g can evaporated milk For the pumpkin seed brittle • 140g golden caster sugar •25g pumpkin seeds (dried seeds best) • 2 tbsp ginger syrup (from jar) •100g golden caster sugar • 2 tsp ground cinnamon • ½ tsp ground ginger For the stem ginger cream • ¼ whole nutmeg , grated •2 tbsp ginger syrup (from a jar) • pinch of ground cloves •200ml whipping or double cream • 2 tsp vanilla extract or paste

STEP 1: Start by cooking the pumpkin or squash. Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Put the pumpkin in a large, deep roasting tin. Add a splash of water, no more than a few tbsps, then cover with foil. Make a small steam hole in the middle, put in the oven and cook for 45 mins or until very tender. While the pumpkin cooks, tip the seeds for the crust onto a baking tray and put in the oven on a lower shelf for 10 mins until toasted and starting to pop, then cool. Once cooked, tip the pumpkin into a sieve, drain and cool completely. STEP 2: Meanwhile, prepare the crust. Tip the toasted seeds and biscuits into a food processor and blitz to fine crumbs. Add the stem ginger and melted butter, and blitz again until the mixture is like wet sand. Tip into a 23cm fluted, loose- bottomed tart tin or a pie tin. Use the back of a spoon to spread the mixture evenly over the base and up the sides of the tin, pressing it firmly into place. Make sure there are no holes, so the filling can’t escape. Put in the fridge and chill for 30 mins. Clean the food processor. STEP 3: Turn oven down to 160C/140C fan/ gas 3. When the pumpkin is cool and any excess liquid has drained away, tip into the food processor. Add the remaining ingredients for the filling and blend until smooth. Put the chilled crust on a baking tray in the middle of the oven. Pull out the shelf and carefully fill with the pumpkin mixture, pouring it right to the top. Close the oven and bake for 40 mins – the filling should be set but still have a wob-

ble. Cool in the tin to room temperature, chill for at least 1 hr. STEP 4: For the brittle, put the pumpkin seeds in a large heavybased frying pan and toast for a few mins until golden and starting to pop. While they toast, line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Tip the seeds into a bowl and set aside, then wipe out the pan. Tip the sugar into the pan and set over a medium heat. To turn the sugar into caramel, heat until the sugar dissolves, but don’t stir at any stage or it may crystallise – instead, swirl the pan every 10 secs or so. Increase the heat and bubble the liquid sugar until it reaches a deep caramel colour. Quickly add the seeds, swirl to incorporate, then tip out onto your lined tray. Leave to cool and set for 30 mins. STEP 5: Just before you’re ready to serve, prepare the cream. Pour the cream and syrup into a large bowl, and whisk until softly whipped and billowy. Remove the pie from the fridge and from its case, and place on a pretty plate or cake stand, or serve straight from the tin. Pile the cream onto the centre of the pie and swirl towards the edges, leaving a border of pumpkin exposed around the edge. When the pumpkin caramel is set, break it into small pieces with a rolling pin and sprinkle over the top – if you have more than you need, store the remainder in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks to scatter over ice cream. Serve the pie in wedges. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.

INDIAN DOCTORS MAKE A HORRIBLE DISCOVERY...

It was a hairy situation when doctors in India removed a 15-pound ball of hair from 17-year-old Sweety Kumari’s stomach! The teenager was taken to a private hospital in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district after experiencing stomach pains. Though an ultrasound originally suggested a tumor, Dr. GN Sahu and his team were surprised to find a mass of hair in its place. Doctors said the operation took around six hours in total. Doctors have diagnosed Sweety with Rapunzel syndrome, it is an intestinal condition in which a person compulsively ingests their own hair.

WHAT IS RAPUNZEL SYNDROME? Rapunzel syndrome, named after the German fairy tale, is an extremely rare intestinal condition in which a person compulsively ingests his or her own hair. The hair can then become trapped in the stomach and, over time, form a hairball. The condition is often associated with trichotillomania, in which sufferers experience the urge to pull out their own hair. Symptoms include nausea, bloating abdominal pain, and vomiting. Some cases can also cause reduced appetite, weight loss, and constipation or diarrhea. In severe cases, the bowel can also be punctured, which can lead to sepsis and, without treatment, multiple organ failure and death. The condition is diagnosed by endoscopy and scans, and treatment typically involves surgery. The condition overwhelmingly affects women, with around 70 percent of all patients studied in one review being females under the age of 20. Many sufferers also have pre-existing learning disabilities or emotional troubles. Kumari is expected to make a full recovery and has reportedly sworn off of eating her hair.

COPY CAT CARS...

For the last few years’ Chinese car manufacturers have been copying successful models and selling them at a fraction of the price of the original. Until recently the original makers have tried to stop the copycat cars, but the Chinese courts have always ruled against them, Land Rover have just managed to stop the production of the Land Wind almost identical to the Evoque but there are lots of others out there. Mclaren 570GT? Look again on the right is the Mclaren, is the on the left is the KDC Regola. The Suzhou Eagle Carrie is almost identical to the Porsche Cayman from every angle except for the front - which is copied from a Ferrari California! Even the badge is similar. Does The Changan CS55 look familiar? It has more than just a hint of Discovery Sport about it! Mazda CX-5? No it’s a FAW Besturn X40.

Capricorn, an old love or friend from long ago may emerge unexpectedly, and you may discover that your feelings have changed after the Moon on November 7th. Romance intensifies, but you may break away from a stale situation before the Moon on November 23rd. While Mercury retrogrades from November 4th to 24th, you may have ample time to get involved in gratifying research or investigation. This is a great time to follow through with projects that have run into snags and determine if you still want to be involved. Worn-out items fall apart, so if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to get rid of them, you don’t have to worry about that any longer. Although your energy may be strong because Mars is transiting in your sign, it’s easy to overextend yourself or to push your limits. To avoid burnout, pace yourself. In all physical pursuits, honor your limitations. Aquarius, you may prefer to keep romantic moments quite and simple early in the month. A holiday or retreat encourages you to let down your guard a bit after November 10th, and from the Moon on November 23rd through November 30th you’ll feel more like your lively old self. Old family problems or issues can spoil a good time if you let them but you do have a choice in the matter. Let your creative ideas open doors for your career this month. Because Mercury is retrograde from November 5th to 24th, you may not make much noticeable progress, but you can definitely set the stage for your plans during the Moon on November 7th. Finances improve after November 22nd, when your own ideas or inventions can be the key to your success. Mental stress, can leave you feeling spent. Nourish your body’s nervous system why not try having a massage or taking a long walk next to the sea to calm your nerves. Pieces, accomplishing a true sense of spiritual union and emotional harmony are your goals this month. Family and home are also changing, and some of the issues that were difficult in the spring may seem more manageable now. Aligning yourself with others who share your special interests can be remarkably satisfying, but you can become over-committed if you keep saying yes to all those volunteer activities! Determine your priorities to avoid having to back out at the last minute, disappointing others and yourself. You’re posturing for a career challenge during the Moon on November 23rd, and you can be successful if you understand why you’re doing it! Enjoying rejuvenating experiences and seeking out holistic therapies, you’re ready to feel whole and alive. A new perspective on chronic problems may arise from experimenting with alternative treatments. Aries, occasional bouts of romantic hope keep the fires burning in your love life this month with a new romance growing stronger after the Moon on November 7th. But by the Moon on November 23rd you’re not likely to let much stand in the way of letting your sweetheart know exactly how you feel. Your drive to succeed is powerful now, and you may feel that there’s nothing to stop you from achieving your goals. But this is no time for shortcuts. The more daunting path may be the most rewarding. Your drive to achieve your ambitions can be so powerful that you run roughshod over the wrong toes! Even though you may think you have no time for fitness activities, the positive benefits of relieving stress and increasing energy will more than make up for the trouble it takes to fit them into your schedule. Take an evening here and there for something purely indulgent. Taurus, Mercury’s retrograde from November 5th to 24th may work to your advantage. This is an excellent time to take a serious look at the way your relationship functions and to get longrepressed feelings or issues out into the open. Blaming tends to escalate during the Moon on November 7th; an objective attitude will lead to a happier outcome. Cooperative ventures provide positive on the work front this month, it’s crucial to identify your role to assure success. Investments and creative ventures fare nicely through November 9th, although you may be itching to get past a costly situation. Deal directly with your responsibilities if you want to dispose of problems. Your spirituality is a source of strength and comfort, and it can play a significant role in healing. Staying active may not be high your list, but try to get it into the top ten.

Gemini, you may attract a lot of advances this month. After the Moon on November 7th, Venus stimulates greater expressions of love, and you’re ready to experience pure pleasures. Unrealistic expectations can spoil a lovely situation, especially near the time of the Moon on November 23rd. Work-oriented activities take most of your time, and you can be instrumental in making productive alterations in your work environment. This is a great time to dig into details or make progress with research. Financial disagreements may raise their head after November 14th, you’re better off probing into the facts instead of getting into the emotionality of the situation. After negotiating, reviewing and examining, you’re in a great position to present your ideas to a receptive audience from November 27th to 30th.

Cancer, relationships take center stage this month. Family connections and intimate love ties need extra time and attention, and you may not be happy unless you feel that your personal life is getting the consideration it deserves. Turmoil with your partner can escalate unless you make an effort to deal with the question of expectations. New business fares best from November 1st to 3th, but once Mercury’s retrograding, you’re likely to spend more time completing what’s already in front of you. Joint finances become confusing after November 26th, when investments may lose some of their sparkle. You may be feeling a bit more competitive, and physical outlets help you maintain balance. Set new goals for fitness, and spend some time reviewing your health needs. Leo, your life takes a creative turn this month, coupled with a renewed love for your partner. You’re eager to do something purely romantic during the Moon on November 23rd. Resolve family issues immediately, allowing anything to brew now is just asking for trouble. At work, clarify your objectives and reconfirm everything, since distractions run rampant after November 17th. A period of trouble-shooting, this month does offer potential for change. Quiet plans for something completely different are in the works after November 26th. To avoid venting your frustrations or stress into inappropriate areas, concentrate extra effort in your fitness activities. That could mean exercising five days a week instead of two or three. The added energy will help you get through the winter in perfect health. Virgo, loving relationships are high on your priority list this month and if you are single you may even be open to someone out of the ordinary during the Moon on November 7th. Travel spurs interesting conversation and could lead to fabulous developments in the romance department from November 6th to 26th. Situations that allow you to apply your considerable skill also give you a chance to gain recognition at work. Trust your abilities and work with confidence. Your career and life path are gaining momentum. The Moon on November 23rd emphasises the need to balance personal and career priorities. Try to avoid the tendency to become too absorbed in your work after November 29th. Recreational activities offer excellent options for staying fit this month, and you’ll appreciate playful situations, which are very invigorating. Libra, emotions are highly charged this month, and turmoil at home or with your relationship may leave you wondering why you’re involved in the first place! But just when you are filled with despair, the clouds move away, the sunshine’s, and the spark of love ignites your heart. Romance lives again you just have to wait until after the Moon on November 23rd. Concern over financial matters can dampen your spirits, unless you’ve been paying attention to details and understand the ramifications of the changes. You can attract excellent support, but it may not fall into place immediately. Stress and tension grow, and giving yourself time to rejuvenate may mean pulling back on some of your social or family obligations. Leave a gap in your schedule for you time this month. Scorpio, an old love may suddenly emerge on the scene this month and whether he or she is present in the flesh or simply occupying your heart, it’s important to reconcile your feelings. The Scorpio Moon on November 7th marks a significant time of fresh beginnings, when releasing the past opens the way for greater abundance in every part of your life. Believing in yourself is getting easier, since your awareness of your real needs is growing clear. Mercury’s retrograde from November 4th to 24th may bring a few delays, and you’ll be wise to look for the trouble spots before the cycle begins. A period of adjustment, when juggling priorities and keeping things moving is rather stressful, if you get everything in order, the financial stress of this time can be lessened considerably. Trim your expenses for a while. Incorporating time in your routine for getting back to nature adds a zest for life. Sagittarius, socialising with friends can be especially enjoyable this month, and you may have a chance to get back in touch with someone who played a special role in your past. Romance is lurking around the corner especially from November 9th to 21st. Mercury retrogrades from November 8th to 24th; this is a great time for completing existing projects or negotiations and doing important research. Even if you’re sure about something you want to start, you’ll have better success if you launch after November 24th. Sign important contracts from November 1st to 3rd or after November 25th. Meetings with special interest groups or professional allies after November 9th can have significant long- term impact on your career. Although you may not be scheduled to run a marathon, this is a good time to build your endurance and stamina.

Little Johnny wanted to go to the zoo and pestered his parents for days. Finally his mother talked his reluctant father into taking him. "So how was it?" his mother asked when they returned home. "Great," Little Johnny replied. "Did you and your father have a good time?" asked his mother. "Yeah, Daddy especially liked it," exclaimed Little Johnny excitedly, "especially when one of the animals came home at 30 to 1!"

A Scotsman was out having a very good time on Saturday night sampling the local product and on the way home he passed out along the lane. Later in the night a wind came blowing by and blew his kilt up to his waist. Well, we all know what a real Scotsman wears under his kilt. Early Sunday morning the two town spinsters came by and saw him laying there. "Prudence have you ever seen such a sight!" one exclaimed. "No I haven't Purity. He deserves some kind of punishment." as she searched her bag. "Here this should do it." And she tied a ribbon around his member. "Serves him right" they huffed and continued on to church. Later the Scotsman awoke and looked down at his gentleman sausage and saw the bright blue ribbon tied around it and said "Aye Laddie, I dunna know where ye been, but ye won ferst prize!." In the pub last night I saw a fat chick dancing on a table. I said to her, "Good legs." The girl giggled and asked, "Do you really think so?" I said "Definitely, most tables would have collapsed by now."

A tourist from Bulgaria visited the United States on his first overseas trip. Upon arrival at the Immigration desk, he is visibly puzzled filling his visa application. The Immigration officer looks over his shoulder, and sees the tourist trying to write "Twice a week" into the small space labeled "SEX". The officer explained: "No, no, no. That is not what we mean by this question. We are asking 'Male' or 'Female'." "Does it matter?" the tourist answered.

A little girl was out with her Grandmother when they came across a couple of dogs mating on the sidewalk. "What are they doing, Grandma?" asked the little girl. The grandmother was embarrassed, so she said, "The dog on top has hurt his paw, and the one underneath is carrying him to the doctor." "They're just like people, aren't they Grandma?" said the little one. "How do you mean?" asked the Grandma. "Offer someone a helping hand," said the little girl, "and they screw you every time!"
