MARBELLA CRUISERS

‘CRUISING IS BACK’ WITH SOME ‘BRAND NEW’ SHIPS FOR 2022 If you are an experienced cruiser

you will know that Marbella Cruisers always negotiate their cruise prices with a minimum of 100 passengers. This secures ‘GROUP PRICES’ which are the ‘LOWEST CRUISE PRICES’ you can get. PLUS, and equally important, our prices always include dining, of course, in a choice of restaurants, plus all your drinks are always included at every bar and restaurant 24/7, and gratuities are included! Yes that is correct you don’t have to pay tips which most cruise lines now add to your final bill.

WE ARE WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE CRUISE

If you are new to cruising, you will find our company, door to door’ can be quite helpful. We are available, at the same place on the ship, at the same time every day to answer questions and to help you make the most of everything the ship has to offer. On excursion days you will find us at the bottom of the ships exit gangway to show you to your coach and introduce you to your tour guide. When necessary we secure ‘GROUP’ discounts on hotels and we arrange coaches to take us from the hotel to the ship.

SAVING YOU BETWEEN £350 AND £600 PER PERSON PER CRUISE

When the saving on your cruise price is added to the discounts we get on our ‘GROUP EXCURSION’ prices the average saving per person, based on the last 580 passengers that booked with Marbella Cruisers, is between £350 and £600 per person depending on the duration of the cruise. (7 or 14 nights) There is no fee to join Marbella Cruisers, just a €50 organization/administration fee P.P on each cruise, to contribute to the advertising costs to ensure a minimum of 100 passengers on every cruise which then secures our ‘GROUP PRICE’. As soon as a cruise is announced we reserve a range of the best positioned cabins on a selection of the more popular decks and we negotiate hard.

YOUR CRUISE PAYMENTS ARE FINANCIALLY PROTECTED

Every cruise deposit and every cruise final payment is, for your protection, made to Travelfinders, a London based company, registered with all the relevant financial protection agencies and has been under the same ownership for 32 years. Every booking Marbella Cruisers has made over the past 4 years (that’s 580 passengers) has been through Travelfinders and not one complaint. Once you have decided to join us, the earlier you pay the £100 PP deposit and €50€ PP organization fee the better chance you have of securing the cabin style you prefer and on which part of the ship you prefer your cabin to be located.

For 2022 we are holding... “APRIL CRUISE” 50 CABINS “JUNE CRUISE” 60 CABINS “AUGUST CRUISE” 50 CABINS “OCTOBER CRUISE” 80 CABINS “DECEMBER CRUISE” 50 CABINS

Each block of cabins we are holding is divided into different styles. 20% inside cabins 30% outside (window) cabins and 50% balcony cabins.

OUR 2022 ‘GROUP price’ CRUISES For 2022 Marbella Cruisers have selected FIVE

very different luxury cruises and you are invited to join us... APRIL “AT THE COPA COPACABANA” The hottest spot north of

Havana. Yes, we are off to the hottest spot north of Havana, staying for as many nights as we wish at the luxurious Hilton Hotel, on ‘Copacabana Beach’ just £69 per night. Our MSC ship leaves Rio de Janeiro on 8th April bringing us back to Cadiz & Lisbon in a ‘Fantastica’ grade cabin + all your food, drinks & WIFI included 24/7 at a really low ‘GROUP CABIN PRICE’ (15 nights) + your flight to Rio.

JUNE “TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE” The beautiful MSC Grandiosa,

(sister ship to the Virtuosa) cruising for 14 nights though the Baltic Sea to St Petersburg and then on to the Norwegian Fjords is a ‘Once in a Lifetime Cruise’. MSC has even secured the famous ‘Cirque Soleil’ to perform throughout the cruise. It is the entertainment and the breath taking scenery of the Fjords that means you will remember this cruise for the rest of your life.

AUGUST “THE HEAT IS ON” In Spain, in August, it does get very hot! The roads are one long traffic jam, parking is impossible and your air-con bill is through the roof. It’s time to ‘escape’. The NCL Escape is wall to wall ‘Air Con’ AND all your drinks 24/7 included, AND gratuities included. Yes, we are off for 10 days to explore Rome, Athens, Sicily, Naples, Malta and a handful of beautiful Greek Islands. Really low ‘GROUP PRICES’

OCTOBER “WE ARE SAILING, WE ARE SAILING”… FROM MALAGA

This is our budget price, ‘LAID BACK’ fun cruise out of Malaga. It’s 9 nights around the Mediterranean. In 2021 this cruise attracted 200 of us, from the coast, enjoying the ease of being on the ship and in the bar within a few hours of leaving home. No flights just wait at your local bus stop & our private coaches will take you to the ship & on our return… they are waiting to bring you home (Coaches are an optional extra).

DECEMBER “ROCKING AROUND THE CHRISTMAS SHIP” Christmas is fun but can be stressful! Cooking, washing up, cleaning up, who to invite and who not to invite. OUR Christmas, including New Year’s Eve, ‘CHAMPAGNE CRUISE’ means NO WORK AT ALL! Just relax, enjoy the inclusive drinks, spectacular shows and maybe even meet up with friends that have cruised with us before. Tell the world…you just sailed away!

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE

Wouldn’t it be nice, to have the opinion on our services and our prices from people that have cruised with us before. If you look carefully you may even know someone.

My husband and I have cruised with Colin twice. He has great organisation skills and deals with queries promptly and efficiently. Also very good value We have made lots of new friends and look forward to cruising with him again. Bob and Christine, La Cala.

We have had many wonderful experiences and adventures with this lovely couple. We have dined and danced and cruised with them. Their organization skills are ‘spot on’ and you always get what is promised and then some, at a very fair price. Steve and Joan, El Paraiso Spain.

We’ve enjoyed some great cruises with Marbella Cruisers, exceptional value and such fun with a friendly crowd. Always superb entertainment and excursions plus dancing with all our friends from Spain. Very pleased to recommend. Jane and Keith, Dorset England.

We caught the cruising bug on our first ever cruise with Marbella cruisers. We are looking forward to making more cruise memories with Colin on luxury ships at incredible prices. We have booked again for 2021. Always very friendly and well organized. Eunice and Laurie, Mijas Spain.

My wife and I have been cruising every year for many years and know exactly where to check prices. Since we found Marbella Cruisers we have cruised with them twice, are booked again for October 2021 and 2022. Well organized and excellent value. Gerry and Yvonne, Duquesa.

We were unsure if we were “cruise people” but persuaded by the low price of Marbella Cruisers' first cruise...We loved it and since been on all of their cruises, we are booked again this year and for next! Colin and Natalie have a talent of making everyone feel welcome Grant and Cara La Cala.

Every cruise and every excursion has been excellent value and never any pressure to join group events. Our last cruise on newly built 'Symphony of the Seas' was a special triumph – We are booked and looking forward to October 2021. Dawn and Shahnaz England.

Marbella Cruises offer what we expect from luxury cruising competitive pricing using modern vessels, low-priced well organised shore tours along with a service that really is "with you all the way". Delighted to recommend Marbella Cruisers to anyone. Mike and Ann, Duquesa.

As a single sailor I have cruised with Marbella Cruisers on three cruises and have booked for 2022. They make a point of introducing me to lots of people and I have made many friends and always feel totally included. Everyone is so friendly. Lolita Kessels, Marbella Spain.

Dancing the night away in the middle of the ocean! Who better to look after you from start to finish than Colin and Natalie. Being new to cruising, we found that having them available every day at the same place was really useful and we soon became good friends. Pete and Ellen, Monda.

If you are still not convinced... then the only way to be sure is to join us on a 2022 cruise

Just a thought...

1) "Go to bed, you'll feel better in the morning" is the human version of "Did you turn it off and turn it back on again?"

OK, so what's the speed of dark?

2) Borrow money from pessimists - they don't expect it back.

3) Half the people you know are below average. 4) 99% of lawyers give the rest a bad name. 5) 82.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot. 6) A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good. 7) A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory. 8) If you want the rainbow, you got to put up with the rain. 9) All those who believe in psychokinesis, raise my hand.

10) The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. 11) I almost had a psychic girlfriend...But she left me before we met. 12) OK, so what's the speed of dark? 13) How do you tell when you're out of invisible ink? 14) If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something. 15) Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm.

16) When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

18) Hard work pays off in the future; laziness pays off now.

17) Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to be lazy.

It’s the way you tell’um...

REALLY funny one liners...

I went to the cemetery yesterday to lay some flowers on a grave. As I was standing there I noticed 4 gravediggers walking about with a coffin. 3 hours later and they're still walking about with it. I thought to myself, They’ve lost the plot!!

The Grim Reaper came for me last night, and I beat him off with a vacuum cleaner. Talk about Dyson with death.

My daughter asked me for a pet spider for her birthday, so I went to our local pet shop and they were £70!!! Blow this, I thought. I can get one cheaper off the web. I was at an ATM yesterday when a little old lady asked if I could check her balance, so I pushed her over.

I start a new job in Seoul next week. I thought it was a good Korea move. I was driving this morning when I saw a parked RAC van. The driver was sobbing uncontrollably and looked very miserable. I thought to myself, that guy's heading for a breakdown.

REALLY funny one liners continued...

My neighbour knocked on my door at 2:30am this morning. Can you believe that - 2:30am?! Luckily for him I was still up playing my bagpipes. Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not Happy.

I was explaining to my wife last night that when you die you get reincarnated but must come back as a different creature. She said she would like to come back as a cow. I said, "You're obviously not listening." The wife has been missing a week now. Police said to prepare for the worst. So I have been to the charity shop to get all her clothes back.

Spotlight on... Mallorca! Main Picture: Cala D´Or Marina

Compass Cala D’Or Pool

There’s something particularly special about island living. The gentle sea breezes. The tang of salt in the air. The friendly local community. It is all this and more that has kept Marc Pritchard, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey España, living on the Balearic Island of Mallorca for upwards of 30 years. “Mallorca is such a wonderful place to live. The pace of life, the cuisine and the spectacular scenery are superb. The island has everything from vibrant towns packed with culture to quiet, hidden-away beaches, as well as world-class cycling, tennis and water-sports facilities. It’s a lovely place to spend quality family time.”

Compass Cala D’Or Kitchen

Compass Cala D’Or

A holiday home with more for your money

With a limited supply of property available, Mallorca isn’t always the cheapest place to find a second home. However, buyers who look in the right locations can still get plenty for their money. Take Compass, for example. Surrounded by gardens bursting with native flora, along with two communal pools for cooling down on long, hot summer days, Compass provides peaceful apartments that are full of light. Located in the Cala D’Or area on Mallorca’s southeast coast, Compass is just 1 km from the beach and 6 km from the 18-hole golf course at Vall d´Or. It sits just metres from the Cala D´Or Marina with its renowned yacht Club, so is ideally located for lovers of nautical pursuits. The town provides a variety of boutiques, shops, restaurants with terraces and bars, with some superb Mediterranean cuisine available locally. Pretty pedestrianised areas invite slow strolls while you soak up the friendly atmosphere. Compass provides two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with well-sized terraces in a Mediterranean-style, bright white building. A range of layouts and orientations are available, to suit different buyers’ requirements. In each apartment, the living space flows from the terrace to the open plan kitchen & living room in a way that makes the most of the abundant natural light, creating an airy, spacious feel. The ground floor apartments have large terraces, with a private porch and garden, while those on other floors provide ample terraces for enjoying the views over the countryside, landscaped communal gardens and pools Prices start from €256,000 plus VAT.

It only records when in flight, and physically blocks the camera when in its charging dock, which it automatically returns to when the battery needs charging.

THE SECRETS TO WHITER TEETH…

Want Brighter, Whiter Teeth? Have your pearly whites lost their luster because of dingy gray or yellow stains? Stained teeth can occur as we age, but some common foods, drinks, and even mouthwashes can stain teeth. Do-it-yourself remedies can help whiten teeth, and avoiding substances that stain teeth can stop further discoloration. Use these secrets to whiter teeth to restore your bright smile.

DO-IT-YOURSELF TEETH WHITENING:

TOOTH-WHITENING KITS: A home tooth-whitening kit contains carbamide peroxide, a bleach that can remove both deep and surface stains and actually changes your natural tooth color. If you have coffeestained teeth, a tooth-bleaching kit can help. With some kits, you apply a peroxide-based gel (with a small brush) to the surface of your teeth. In other kits, the gel is in a tray that molds to the teeth. The tray must be worn daily (for 30 to 45 minutes) for a week or more.

HOME WHITENING STRIPS:

Tooth-whitening strips will help get rid of tooth stains. These strips are very thin, virtually invisible, and are coated with a peroxide-based whitening gel. You wear them a few minutes daily for a week or more. Results are visible in just a few days, and last at least a year. The results with strips are not as dramatic as with whitening kits, but the strips are easy to use 64

You may be able to get rid of superficial stains by yourself. A number of at-home tooth-whitening products kits, strips, toothpastes, and rinsesmay lighten stains. There are even some old-fashioned remedies you can try. Tooth-whitening products available on drugstore shelves use mild bleach to brighten yellow teeth. Toothpastes use abrasives and chemicals to remove surface stains. For deep stains, you may need a dentist's help.

THE SURPRISINGLY POPULAR CHOCOLATE BARS...

MADE WITH BLOOD! JUST HOW MUCH BLOOD DID THESE OVERTHE-COUNTER SUPPLEMENTS CONTAIN? A MINIMUM OF FIVE PERCENT COW’S BLOOD....

throughout the USSR, the food even survived the collapse of the Soviet Union. You can still purchase Hematogen bars in Russia today.

Multiple generations of Russian children have fond memories of noshing Hematogen bars. Ads promoted these treats as “wholesome and healthy” and able to help with anemia, a condition common in about 25% of the population, especially small children. Made with condensed milk, syrup, and beet sugar. But the delish bars contained a dark secret, one linked to the slightly metallic flavor of the bars: black food albumin. That’s a fancy way of saying blood. Just how much blood did these over-the-counter supplements contain? A minimum of five`5% cow’s blood. Here’s the strange tale of the blood-based snack that Russian children grew up devouring...

There are a whole host of products containing hemoglobin that were popular across Europe. These included favorites such as Hematopan, a licorice-sweetened blood powder. And who couldn’t get behind Haemosan, a delectable drink made with lecithin, calcium glycerophosphate, and, you guessed it, blood protein. Yum!

But why did European food manufacturers spend so much time concocting hemoglobin into various food products, instead of just sticking to good old-fashioned blood pudding?

They had to find a way to make blood, which spoils very rapidly, into a shelf-stable item that people might FEEDING BLOOD TO BABES: find remotely palatable. When it’s all said and done, If your skin’s crawling at this point, we get it. But nobody achieved this better than the Russians. Despite Hematogen bars proved anything but a horror to the the metallic aftertaste, anybody raised in Russia will tell Russian people. Readily accessible at pharmacies you, Hematogen bars tasted bloody delicious.

Gaylord and Gladiator are two words that are not often spoken together, but in 1955-57 The Gaylord Gladiator was designed to compete with the Best cars in the world and you can see inspirations from Rolls Royce and Corvette, After it’s unveiling in Paris, 25 orders were needed to get the car into production – but they didn’t come in and there car was stillborn. The rather appropriately named AMC Gremlin was a huge success in American the car was manufactured and marketed in a single, two-door body style (1970–1978) by American Motors Corporation (AMC), and in Mexico (1974–1978)... Well it was the 70’s!!! Toyota produced The Deliboy between 1989 and 1995, they gave the van the name to conjure and image of a young and agile drive – the one in this picture looks more like it should be called the Del-Boy! You might remember the Suzuki Cappuccino... A car with a pretty silly name, but how about The Suzuki Alto Afternoon Tea? This was produced for a whole six months in 1990- 1991

Long Before Mini Made the Clubman and Hyundai mad the Veloster, Mitsubishi were producing the Minica, nothing unusual here, until they made a version with two doors on one side and one on the other and called it..... The Lettuce!

Capricorn, passionate Mars will be in your skies for the first part of the month you will be hot-blooded and impulsive it may bring with it intense affairs or maybe intense arguments. Your mood becomes a lot more peaceful after the 12th. Venus is then in your sign bringing with it favourable opportunities of enjoying happiness in your love life. Enjoy the moment! This month is a great one for your career too. First, Jupiter’s positive power extends its protective wing over you. Mars then gives you a very productive month. Venus’ then announces the possibility of new contracts or partnerships that are useful professionally. Things don’t always go easily at work, but with perseverance and patience, you can achieve special things. Aquarians, November 2021 is divided in two intervals with a different emotional tone. The first (actually, up until November 11th) is benefic for you. All heavenly bodies that are relevant to your love life are well placed: the Sun and Mercury are at zenith in strong positions so you’re in charge. Venus, planet of love is in a lucky place, making sure to offer you advantageous circumstances for love. The second and third weeks of November 2021 aren’t that bad, but can be sprinkled here and there with difficulties or disappointments. During November 2021, your path to professional success is wide open. When it comes to money, you’re doing wonderfully. During November 2021 you’re in good shape and have so many plans that your enthusiasm seems to energize you even more. Extra strength and vitality help you beginning with the second week, when Mars is in Aquarius in your skies. Pisces, because Mercury is in your sign for the first part of November 2021 it might keep you interested in a relationship with someone from afar or with whom you share spiritual beliefs or interests. At the same time, Venus raises the bar, directing your choices toward people worthy of esteem. Mercury takes over in that regard and carries things on until end of month. The astral configuration could mean that there are some mixes between your love life and career. Relations have a particular impact your professional life during the month. Professional decisions influenced by emotional elements, the ability to make your way with the help of connections. Your finances depend now on others (family, banks etc.) but you do quite well. Sit down quietly and work slowly on a well-put-together financial plan for a longer term! Aries, on the November 5th, Venus and Capricorn enter your sign and as a result you should take your relationships a lot more seriously. If you are in a serious relationship then you shouldn’t expect your other half to bear most of the burden on their own. It’s time to chip in and accept to discuss even the unpleasant or touchy topics that you usually tend to avoid. If you are single you might feel attracted to people who have high social status or who exude power. On the work front don’t isolate yourself from others and steer clear of power plays and aggressive behavior! You need the help of those around and you can only get it if you keep in mind everyone’s best interest when you act. You seem to be very determined to improve your income this month, which will see you making significant professional changes.

Taurus, your love life is going to very active this month: The Sun, Mercury and Mars give you the push you’ve been needing if you’re married and have been dealing with issues for a while, to get your marriage back on track. If you are single then you may find love from long distance connection. Some events that happen in your life push you to change this November, and these inner changes influence the balance course forward throughout the rest of the year. Throughout the month, be careful about the professional associations that are important to you. It’s very likely that your need for independence and change will surprise those around and you might end up ruining ties to coworkers or with business partners. Get more active try to work out more. Take long walks at a brisker pace so you feel your mind clearing by the minute.

Gemini, you now start an intense term from an emotional point of view. If you are single then you may fall head over heals in love, but relationships that start in November 2021 can be important lessons about loyalty and feelings. If are already married you get the chance to fall back in love with their other half and rebuild important bridges. Mars, the Sun, and Mercury suggest a tense term career wise, be flexible, adapt to requests, and work hard. In theory, you’re perfectly in accord with these principles, but it’s time to apply them into practice. Various issues about money push you towards a sudden change of jobs or ending some collaboration. The hectic time you might deal with during the month could keep you always on the run, stressed out, and always forgetting things here and there this could affect your health.

Cancer, Mars, the Sun and Mercury begin a transit through your sign. As a result, in November 2021 you might feel the need to experience the adventure of love (but maybe not in the best way). There might be jealousy in your circle of friends. You should be as careful and cautious as possible, because otherwise you risk finding yourself in delicate or even compromising situations that can affect your reputation for the long run. November 2021 is very good for expressing creativity, including at work, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t run into some obstacles. It’s very likely you’ll deal with rigid people who prefer a rigorous and systematic approach although they won’t reject innovation entirely. As a result, there could be an epiphany about your professional life that pushes you towards making significant changes.

Leo, it’s possible you’ll feel overwhelmed by obligations this month and you’ll want more independence and freedom to move. Relationships might experience various conflicts that are difficult to manage. You need to make a drastic change when it comes to where you’re headed with your life. If you are single then a favorable term begins on November 22nd to find the love of your life. If you go through professional issues, don’t get stubborn and do things as you’ve been doing them. Look for a new approach! You can consider even a radical change of your area of work. You should also not neglect what you feel and keep in mind that during this term your own feelings can prove to be pretty hard to keep in check.

Virgo, if you’re looking for love, you get the chance to meet people who make your heart skip a beat. Now is not the time to play hard to get in love, but it wouldn’t hurt to play a different card than you did before. Dare to take on a small risk every now and then. If you’re already involved it’s a good idea not to set rules by which you’re other half should live by. Be flexible and open to new ideas and approaches on the work front. Events associated with the lunar eclipse of November 19th can make you let go of your fixed ideas. If you want to improve your income, it’s worth it to try to transform a hobby into a source of making money. November might be slightly stressful if you’re not careful; you risk becoming the worst enemy of your own health, so try to do things that help you to relax so you don’t exhaust yourself because of aggravation and emotional turmoil. Libra, Mars with Saturn suggests that in November 2021 could be a slightly rocky road relationship wise. Maybe your other half is going through a tense term. Another touchy topic could be related to children. The lunar eclipse of November 19th makes you take on some serious changes, with long-term effects. Try the best not to escalate things in some family matters, even if it’s been an issue that has been bothering you for a long time. Mars the Sun and Mercury give you the tools in which you need to make certain changes opportunities to earn, the way you spend money, the debts you already have, and (if it’s the case) the loans that you’re thinking to make. Because income is directly connected to work, you could conclude that they need to change direction in their career. Scorpio, there are a lot of planets in your sign this month: Saturn, Mars the Sun and Mercury. As a result, you tend to be concerned first and foremost with yourself. You might experience conflicts in personal ties, including in your marriage, particularly if there’ve been issues for a while now. If you are single then the energy of the lunar eclipse of November 19th inspires and helps you to revise and radically change some ideas about love and expressing affection all these things will help with the goal of finding love. During the first two of November 2021, keep in check the tendency towards being overly bossy, because otherwise you risk ruining ties to business partners etc. Although your goals are ambitious, you need to keep in mind the desires of others too. The enthusiasm that you feel during this term can stir up your spirits, try to take it a bit more easy and rest so you refill your batteries. Sagittarius, the first week of November 2021 might be a little disappointing in terms of love/relationships. What’s to blame is your tendency toward being more reticent and demanding despite your natural attitude. Careful, this behavior diminishes your power of seduction! The second part of the month things seem to improve, because Mercury and Mars get in on the action and relax a benevolent position. To be honest, you don’t really feel like working this month. Luckily, things start to get better later in the month, and a helping hand seems to come out of the blue. You need to set and evaluate objectives this will get your momentum going again. During November 2021 your intellect and ability to communicate are exceptional. Use them!

Tricky Brain Teaser BOB’S CAKES...

Bob had a job working as an errand boy. One day he was given the task of collecting boxes of cakes for the Summer Fair. He collected boxes from various people in his local village and each box was labeled in Roman Numerals with the number of cakes in the box. By the time he had collected the last box, he was quite hungry, and really needed to eat at least one cake. Luckily the last box was marked with an XI, meaning there were 11 cakes in it. He had the brain wave of turning the box around and underlining the number to give the impression there were IX, that is 9 cakes. However, after eating the 2 cakes, he was still hungry. How did the he change the number shown on the box again and eat even more cakes, without any one knowing?
