driana’s head was turned when she first caught sight of Matt at their local gym. “I then contacted him via social media, sparked up a conversation and he asked me on a date that night,” she reveals. They went to TGI Fridays followed by a walk at local beauty spot St James’ Hill, Norwich – a winning combo which Matt repeated for the proposal! “It came as a complete surprise,” Adriana recalls. “Matt text me while at work in the afternoon asking if I’d like to go out to eat.” He suggested the same restaurant and after-dinner walk and Adriana never cottoned on to the fact that something was afoot. “It was our first date all over again, but I just thought it was a lovely idea as he wasn’t acting any differently. Then during the walk he pulled a box from his pocket and I burst into tears! We still laugh about it to this day because, for all I knew, it could have just been earrings instead of an engagement ring!” The wedding took place on 9th February, 2020 at The Assembly House, Norwich in the midst of a mega storm.
