Mary Haber's Pet Photography & Bigger Mission Marycarmen Haber is a local photographer with a bigger mission. Born in Venezuela, she’s been a dog lover ever since she could remember. “I started volunteering at animal rescues since I was sixteen, dreaming to open my own dog shelter, some day.” When she moved to Mexico City, she studied photography, and continued to rescue dogs from the street, on her spare time. Today, Mary lives in Los Angeles, CA. She is a full time mom, wife, and a dog mom to a Yorkie named Pumpkin. To spend more time with dogs, Mary also walks, dog sits, and boards dogs on Wag app. She has completed more than 500 walks up to date; the money for which she has donated to rescues. Some of these dogs have become her friends, and even family. “My favorite Golden Retriever Maple is the spark of my life! I call her my bestie.. Or, my two babies Jayda and Boo— two Shitzu princesses that bring so much happiness to my life… Or the little Pekingese, Mooshoe that walks with me on Fridays … and Katie, the sweet Poodle that I board and hug at night while she lays down growling…” On her spare time, Mary does pet photography; creating cute sets, and offering affordable photo sessions, the money for which donates to dogs in need. “My favorite part is the kisses I get, during and after each shoot, it fills up my heart” explains Mary. “I’d also like to thank all my clients for being a part of my journey, and helping my mission.” To learn more, visit @mary_haber_pets.
