fter over nine years with the Cowichan Intercultural Society, executive director Lynn Weaver is moving on to lead a national organisation, the Canadian Refugee Sponsorship association. With many notable achievements, she is leaving the organisation well-poised for continued success. As the organisation celebrates its 40th year, “it is bittersweet to be moving on,” says Weaver, adding that she extends her wishes for “another 40 years of great accomplishments in support of diversity, inclusion, racial justice and equity in the Cowichan Valley, as our community continues to grow and thrive”.
