“I really appreciate the help I have been given and I have the literature to help me continue my journey. My practitioner was there throughout for me and always answered any queries I had.”
Case Study: Sarah - Active Monitoring Service When Sarah first came to us, she was experiencing anxiety, depression and was stressed about work feeling that Covid 19 had a significant effect on her wellbeing. Sarah needed support with coping strategies for her anxiety and low mood to be able to return to work and lead a more normal life. As part of our Active Monitoring service, Sarah had access to books and leaflets that provided her with the tools and techniques to practice. She worked hard and sent her practitioner weekly progress updates and discussed with her practitioner every week the techniques she had been practising. Sarah comments: “I was supported by my Practitioner throughout and we also practiced some relaxation and breathing techniques, which I continue to use. I feel so much better. I have a welfare meeting with work coming up and I intend to go back to work at the end of January, working from home.
“My dog was recently ill and I dealt with the situation really well where as before I would have gone into total panic. I have now introduced the techniques I have learned into everyday life and when situations arise I look at the bigger picture, a technique that I have now learned. “I really appreciate the help I have been given and I have the literature to help me continue my journey. My practitioner was there throughout for me and always answered any queries I had. It is a wonderful service and I would recommend it to anyone. In fact, my work (Bridgend College) have been interested in my feedback to maybe recommend this service to others.”
