APPLICATION WORKSHOP

Find out how to make your application stand out! This session will focus on how to make your application law-firm specific, how to communicate your skills and experience in a cover letter, and provides the opportunity to network with Graduate Recruitment.

Thursday 24th October | 6:30pm - 8pm Room 6, History Faculty

BEHIND THE HEADLINES

Macfarlanes is a distinctive London-based law firm, focused on its clients and on delivering excellence in the international legal market. Tuesday 29th October | 4-6pm Room 6, History Faculty

APPLICATION HINTS AND TIPS

The skills session will cover the different stages of NRF’s application process, what they look for in applications, the do’s/don’ts, and give students the opportunity to ask any questions!

Wednesday 30th October | 11-12pm Room 6, History Faculty

THE LIFE-CYCLE OF A DEAL

This is a great opportunity to develop case study skills, which are often part of assessment days. We strongly encourage anyone interested in becoming a commercial solicitor or with an interest in commercial law to attend this event. There will also be a chance to network with A&O representatives after the session over nibbles.

This discussion will be chaired by a female Cambridge law academic. This event will bring together female lawyers from all backgrounds and from numerous branches of the law, including private sector and governmentfunded branches.
