n 2019, like-minded women came together with a passion to fundamentally change the trajectory of the medical apparel retail market by leveraging a more nontraditional shopping model that would anchor on providing added value, convenience, and a great customer experience. It all started with a discussion of their hopes and dreams one rainy day in the hospital cafeteria where they worked. Who knew that a discussion of their dreams would turn into a successful company, Scrubs To The Rescue. Their varied backgrounds and skill sets help to make their team dynamic work well. Born in the windy city of Chicago, Tennille Johnson came to Houston to attend Texas Southern University in 1995. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy and has worked as a pharmacist for over 16 years. She prides herself on being a lifelong learner and community activist. She is a proud and active member of the esteemed Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
