For the month of July, Schurr Key Club members were provided with multiple service events. Members were prompted to participate in friendly competition as they completed the Charity miles service. Charity miles, an application that turns miles exercised into a virtual fundraiser for preferred charities, allowed Schurr students to support UNICEF while staying socially distanced. As an extra incentive, the member with the highest accumulated amount of miles won a boba of their choice personally delivered by our president, Chloe Liu. Tiktok’s Garden of Good, a service arranged by our division, lets members use a popular social media platform to play a farming simulator that converts in-game crops into real-life food donations. To complete this service, members reached out to students in their graduating class group chats and supported each other's Garden of Good gardens!
