letter from your LTG hello belugas! The term is slowly coming to an end. I just wanted to quickly say that it has been an amazing past few months so far, and we have accomplished so much from starting off with nothing. Currently, we have over 7,500+ service hours 足 that is impressive! Our goal is to reach 10,000 hours by DCON 2018! Push through these last 2 months, belugas 足 I know we can do it! I hope you all have kindly welcomed your new Lieutenant Governor Elect for the 2018足 19 term, Gina Min. As my term comes to an end, Gina will be taking over the ropes so please give her your undying love and support! Moreover, I hope you all have concluded / are in the process of concluding your officer elections for the upcoming year. The deadline for DCON Registration is approaching very quickly 足 please talk to your officers and advisers for more information about DCON! I hope you will all be able to attend to witness installation, retirement, celebrations, and much much more in Reno, Nevada! That's all for this month! Thank you for all that you do! Keep striving for the best and never lose sight of your passion for service.

yours in service,

Michelle Ho 4

CLUB UPDATES: State Park Cleanup

submitted by, isabella tan

Chino Hills High School

Chino Hills High School Key Club went to the Chino Hills State Park to do a cleanup and bonding within the club members. We had an amazing time hiking at the beautiful state park and the members had an amazing time as well. We were able to beautify the mostly clean state park! The weather was just perfect for our hike, and although the uphill hike was grueling, when we reached the top, the view was sooooo worth it. We're excited to make this an annual event to include within our future terms!

CLUB UPDATES: God's Pantry

Ayala High School

God’s Pantry is a food bank helping local families get the essential nutrients they need. All while spreading and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Food donated to families comes from people’s groceries or money donations. God’s Pantry is a non profit organization designed to help those in need, relying solely on volunteers! God’s Pantry was an amazing experience for all of the volunteers who were able to attend. We all woke up bright and early on a Saturday morning instead of sleeping in like most of our friends, in order to give back to our community. At God’s Pantry, the volunteers unpacked, organized, and restocked goods that we then distributed to families in need. We also walked families through the produce line helping them stuff their carts full of donated goods!
