letter from your LTG happy march belugas! Welcome to the final newsletter of the 20172018 term. This means that our term is almost over. These past 11 months serving you all have been the most heartwarming and eye opening experience of my entire four years in high school. I am truly in awe of all that we have accomplished in our first year being established, and I will never forget the memories that I have made through Key Club. As we enter the new term, current officers please please make sure to train your elects! This is the most critical period for our current leaders to leave our legacy to the next generation of leaders. Take the time to walk through the MRF with your elects, talk about your goals or any problems you encountered during your term, and do everything within your power to make sure that progress is made. The future of the division is in your hands! To those of you who are attending District Convention in April, I hope you have a wonderful time! Take as many pictures as you can, go out there and meet new people, and attend all those enriching workshops! Thank you for all that you have done for Division 15 South Key Club. It has been my extreme honor to serve as your Lieutenant Governor for our first year, and I could not be happier to say that I had the chance to serve such an amazing, hardworking, and passionate group of people. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, whatever it is you seek to do. As always, keep striving for the best and never lose sight of your passion for service.

yours in service,

Michelle Ho 4

CLUB UPDATES: Poster Painting

Chino Hills High School Key Club had an event to paint posters for our local elementary school. We had 5 volunteers help paint the posters in the ASB quad of our school after school. The event was a blast and the members seemed to enjoy it.

CLUB UPDATES: God's Pantry

Ayala High School

At God’s Pantry many of all ages, from high school to 70 years of age, came out to help the community. It started by an individual getting a wristband and 2 volunteers ready to go along the food line with them. There was food such as fish, bread, vegetables, and more! An abundance of food that could last a family days even weeks. The event was truly to give back, and to help those that were in need of food in our local community. Even though I was there because of Key Club, I would be honored to serve again whenever it came back to Chino.

CLUB UPDATES: Colony's Banquet

submitted by,

gievirlyn guerrero Colony High School

Incoming around March or April, the Colony High School Key Club Banquet will happen. I and other members are excited for this, for all the food and the experience before our AP testing for some sophomores, juniors, and seniors. What the food will be is to be decided, as picking food that people are not allergic to and planning for how the food will come to our school is troubling. No matter what the food may be, what I and others expect is to share out moments in Key Club with each other and to end the term well.

CLUB UPDATES: Montclair Key Club

On Monday 5th, Key club had a meeting about volunteering at the youth center. The event they are planning to help is “Ester Basket Breakfast.” This event is for kids under 10. The event is in which the Key Club members will help serve breakfast. Then help the kids to find eggs. This will be taking place on March 25 the weekend before Ester. “You guys, would you like to this event?” Marissa Key Club President asked. The club started to discuss the cons and pros in which if they did this event. “ I mean I down to work with little kids. I love kids. Haha.” A member stated. After about 15 minutes discuss they came to a inclusion. “I guess that settles it. We and doing this event.” Marissa said.

March DCM Karaoke Night

10

The March DCM: Karaoke Night with Division 15 North was a very very succesful end to the amazing first term of Division 15 South! I want to thank Michelle for such an amazing term, and for her hard work in order to help our division thrive the best it can. We raised $380 for the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, through the Kung Fu Tea boba and pizza fundraiser. We provided popcorn and had an amazing time just singing to songs and enjoying our time with fellow Key Clubbers.
