LTG’s

note

happy may, belugas ! Now that our CNH District Executives have been elected, the 2020-2021 term has begun! I am so excited to serve as your Lieutenant Governor this year, and can’t wait to see what this term will bring us. I know staying at home right now might be boring, but remember we can still do service projects! This term, I intend to raise at least $6,000 for PTP and complete more than 9,000 hours of service as a division. I would also like to thank all the seniors who have dedicated so much of their time to Key Club. This year’s seniors taught me so much as a person and as a Key Clubber, and I will always remember their genuine advice and encouragement. I miss everyone so much and hope to see you soon! Please stay safe! Yours in service,

Emily Lu

WE LOVE YOU JOANNE Thank you Joanne, for all the memories this term and hard work you put in for D15S <3 From yelling your loudest to sell boba at Region Night Market, to buying us fruit snacks for the Painting DCM, roller skating and ice skating at October and January DCMs (even though you can’t skate), spilling the tea with us at RTC Tea Time, and lastly, always encouraging and supporting us. You did so much work behind the scenes; seeing all the emails you had to send, all the monthly and weekly deadlines, I have so much respect for you and am endlessly proud of you and your success this year. Congratulations on your retirement; we really got this bread this term ! -From Your Elect on Behalf of D15S

Montclair Key Club’s

new elects award ceremony PRESIDENT "To be able to say that I’m the new president of my club is a blessing and an honor. I never would have thought that I would invest myself this much into any activity, but I am elated to say that I have done so. To lead a club and shoulder this responsibility will be a valuable experience that I will be looking forward to, and I hope that I will be able to make it a valuable experience for my members as well. This upcoming term, my members and I will strive to invest a lot more time into fundraising and doing community service, as well as becoming more spirited and trying to improve upon

other weak points. Although it is a small club as of now, I believe that this club has a lot of potential and my members and I will devote our efforts to having this small club jump leaps and bounds this approaching term." Submitted by: Long Ma Montclair High School

VICE PRESIDENT "Becoming the next Vice President means a lot to me because I will finally truly be involved in a club I am passionate about. This opportunity opens a lot of doors for me to not only become more outgoing, but I will be able to develop myself as an individual. This will, ultimately, end up effecting Key Club, as well. I am very grateful for this position, and I am looking forward to recognizing every member's hard work." Submitted by: Xochitl Islas Montclair High School

SECRETARY "It really is an honor to be the Key Club secretary for the 2020-2021 term! I am so grateful for this opportunity and will strive to do my best to push this club forward. It was a very happy moment for me finding out I was the secretary elect, and I'm really glad I was able to experience it with the members. I'm very excited for what this term has in store for me. It kinda started on a bad foot due to quarantine, but I will do my best to make the rest of the year a great experience for everyone! I not only wish to help the club run as smoothly as possible, but I'm ready to give it my all to make this a successful term!" Submitted by: Annie Ly - Montclair High School
