A LETTER FROM THE LTG Happy Holidays, Belugas! Now that we are nearing halfway to the end of the term, I would like to take a second to thank ALL of you for all of the wonderful and unforgettable memories you have given me thus far. With over 3,000 service hours to date, I am extremely proud of all of you for all of the wonderful service, spirit, and efforts you have put forth into bettering our homes, schools, and communities. Even as a new Division, you still show service and spirit like no other. While we did start off with a fresh, clean slate, you still continue to amaze me with all your hard work and commitment to service you do. With the holidays comes a time to give back and give thanks. In light of our new Spotlight on Service Program theme, "Providing Basic Needs" please please take the time thinking of others and lend a hand where needed. Participate in a local food, toy, or clothing drive and give back to those who need more than you. There are many families who lack the basic needs to survive, and it is our goal to give back to them so they, too, can enjoy a happy and safe holiday season. Although Fall Rally South is over, I hope you do not lose your Key Club passion and excitement. I promise there will be much more memories, traditions, and unforgettable moments to come. Let's keep pushing to achieve our goals of $3000 for the Pediatric Trauma Program and 10,000 Service hours by DCON 2018! I know we can do it! I expect great things to come from all of you as we enter the new year. I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming December DCM, Candidate Training Conference, or at the Kiwanis Rose Floats Decorating event! Talk to you soon!
love,

pre‐fall rally
At the Book Fair, the members helped out make root beer floats, make bookmarks, and clean up. The members all had an overall fun time and the PTA moms were very nice to all of the volunteers. Helping the children make bookmarks with stickers and markers was very cute and we were able to eat some leftover root beer floats YUM!

The season for Fall Rally has come again! In order to prepare our club for the spirit sessions, we held a pre fall rally! To start off the event we first had our monthly Division Council Meeting. I spoke about our club’s past events and fundraisers we’ve been planning. It was really nice to hear what other clubs were doing for Halloween, and I was able to get inspiration for next year’s events. I also enjoyed rekindling with officers from other clubs because I don’t see them often. After the DCM, our two spirit coordinators taught us our main spirit chants as well as battle cheers. The members at first were a little shy but towards the end they were having a blast and really getting into the Key Club spirit. They also taught us the general “How Do You Feel” cheer along with other common ones. At the prefall rally members also received their ordered spirit gear such and leis and tutus. There was a tutu making workshop and I was happy to see many Freshmen dedicating their time for Fall Rally preparations. Overall I had a great time learning and practicing cheers with my friends and the members of the club.

CLUB Nephcure Walk UPDATES: Don Lugo High School
CLUB UPDATES:
Club Rush is an event held each year at Don Lugo, so all students can have a chance to know which clubs are available on campus. Key Club, along with all other clubs, have representatives there who can talk about the club's significance and answer any questions the students may have. The students also have a chance to sign up for the club and get some flyers and other papers, which will inform them about meetings and other important information that will apply throughout the year. Club Rush is definitely the oneÂtime students can truly find what they would like to participate in without being pressured to sign up for one specific club.

Gievirlyn Guerrero On October 27, 2017, members of Colony High School Key Club went to Westwind Park after school. There they checked in with the officials and bean to help set up for the annual Halloween event. Some even dressed up to matchthe occasion! Members helped set up tables and learned how to blow up balloons. After the balloons were blown up, other members tied them to tables, fences, and other places. After the event was finished, members helped out with clean up. They swept the floor, gathered rugs, collected the tables, fixed the carnival games, and cleaned up any remaining mess. Everyone worked hard while having fun with their job as they dealt with each other and the children

Our members spend numerous hours the day before the event building and setting up tracks for the competition taking place the next day. They also spent a great amount of time learning about all aspects of the competition before the event, so they could assist the referees with their job the day of.
