Canyon Springs Chronicles July issue

The upcoming school year by Jaylene Tiscareno I'm really excited for this upcoming school year because it is my senior year and last year being in this Key Club. It saddens me to go but on the other hand I'm more determined to make this year the best one yet! For a lot of the board it's their senior year too so we are all lining up service events and projects for our last year. Right now, as treasurer, I'm really trying to stay focused on how much money we are coming in with and how

to pay for everything from shirts to RTC dues. We are going to be working on coming up with ideas to keep the members in key club for the whole year and making sure that we keep each month packed with fun service events that our members would be able to attend. I just know it will be a year that we all won't forget and will always try to make it our best so when we leave we know we gave it our all.

Thanks for the recognition by Ma’nicka Coleman We canyon springs high school have received club of the month for two months and I can’t help but feel over the moon. Sometimes I feel like our work goes unnoticed, sometimes I feel like we as a club have such hard competition to go up against but I’m proud to say that we made it to the top. It helped me to realize that our work is appreciated ,it does not go unnoticed and that even if I may not be officer of the month, or club member of the month I am a piece of a successful team. Being recognized as club of the month has inspired me to try

harder and be the best key clubber I can be. Thanks Stanley and the rest of the division leadership team for recognizing our hard work.

Ronald McDonald house adventures by Gema Plancarte Hernandez On the 8th of July we made chicken tacos at the Ronald McDonald House. I was in charge of cooking the chicken and to be completely honest I wasn't sure how to cook it . My family would never let me cook in the house because I would "burn the food". The only time I did cook was when I was with my sister. Although, I had no clue on what I was doing the end

result was very delicious. I was surprised, it tasted better than I expected it to be. My favorite part was Gaby's cupcakes; they were so good! I can't wait until we do this again!

Rmdh Taco Fun by Madison Feemster Ronald Mconald house was so much fun, making shrimp tacos was great. Being with my club and making food is funny. We have so much fun, and it's just a great laughing experience. I love going to Ronald McDonald house but being with my club is even more fun. I'm so

so glad I decided to join the e-board and be with these fantastic people. Love Key club, greatest thing that ever happened to me.
