Thank you for a magical RTC By Justine Centeno I would just like to say thank you to everyone who came to RTC this year. You made this year extra memorable. To have attendance tripled since my freshmen says a lot about you guys. *tears* You guys are incredible. To all the seniors: I wish you all had fun and that RTC will be a memory you will remember. I witnessed the passion everyone had for service and for spirit. You were all beautiful and amazing! I look forward to seeing you guys again next year!!! RTC 2016 HYPE!!! With Love, Your President

Fall Rally Excitement 2015 by Manicka Coleman Now that RTC has passed all I can think about is fall rally. I f fall rally is as exciting and fun as RTC was then I'm guaranteed to have a blast. I’m so excited to take all the eager key clubbers to California so we can cheer our booties off. This will be my first time going to fall rally so I don’t quite know what to expect but I'm excited and very glad that I will be able to participate in this wonderful key club event.

A Day at RTC by Jaylene Tiscareno Going for the first time to RTC is honestly an experience I will never forgot. At first you think about how many people are there and realize they are all wearing tutus. It is a bit scary looking for someone who doesn't socialize that well but after a while you realize it is fun to be at this event. Everyone accepts you and treats you like family and no one is ever put down. Its a place where everyone can feel accepted and asked "How do you feel?" a bunch of times. RTC has made me realize that being in Key Club means so much more than just any regular school club, we get together with schools all over and get to inter-

act with each other. It is all about walking to your next workshop and hearing school chants and watching as classrooms get filled up. It is about learning different things to make yourself and your club better. From standing out in the sun watching clubs compete and to dancing the night away to end the day. This is a day at RTC.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better it’s not.”

The 1st meeting after Rtc by Gema Plancarte On the 6th of October we had a social for our first meeting after RTC. We served nachos, played a new icebreaker we learned in RTC and shared our experience of the event with the rest of our members. It was so much fun! Throughout the entire meeting the new members who went to RTC were asking each other how they feel. After this meeting several members were interested in attend for the year to come.

RTC Fun by Norma Palma On Saturday October 3 I successfully attended my 2nd RTC and this one was better than the last. Although the road to RTC was a little stressful attending was all worth it. Because I went last year I was able to compare this year's conference and the last, the changes made were everything for the better. From the PowerPoints to the workshops to the time changes. It made RTC that much more enjoyable fun and an amazing learning experience. Almost every aspect of key club was talked about. Although it was really tiring and the day seemed long on paper the time was flying by. Nobody even felt the day pass by. We also had the largest attendance for this years RTC in Canyon Springs key club history!! All of our members brought something back to our club and we've all made goals on how to make our club better. Thank you to everyone who made RTC 2015 happen. It was amazing!!!

RTC 2015 by Justine Centeno

This year's RTC was blast! Although the overall attendance of RTC across the valley decreased, our club attendance doubled since last year. Most of our members attended RTC for the first time and I'm glad they had fun. From the beginning of the day, everyone was excited to cheer. Throughout the sessions, we all learned great things, which we shared in our meeting. When the cheer sessions came,

Angelica and Luis shows they were ready for RTC!

Service Hours by Gaby Soto We've started off the year with multiple service opportunities and I'm very glad to see our service hours rising. Please make sure you are doing at least one hour of community service a month, as it is required. Attending our in club projects is a great way to get hours, you also want to make sure you attend outside service projects which is not only a way to gain service hours but also a way to bond with other members. All service hours must be turned in 3 days before the end of the month. You must use the link provided in every agenda and fill out the google form. If you have any questions or concerns regarding service hours don’t hesitate to contact me at 702 -762-7834 or email me at D28n.cshs.secretary@gmail.com

everyone was nervous. When Canyon Springs was called, we knew it was time. I screamed, "Get Up and Cheer!" We sang our hearts out and the crowd sang along. At this moment, it was hard to hold onto the emotions. I just imagined myself having fun with my friends, which was true. Unfortunately, we couldn't make the third round, but I was still happy. I knew each

one of us tried the best we could. I could not have been more proud of our Key Club! Thank you to everyone who attended RTC and to everyone that made it happen! WOOOOOH!!!
