Otc overview I attended otc with my fellow canyon springs e-board members on may 2nd at green valley high school. I learned about my monthly duties such as article and newsletter admissions. I learned about the significance of my position and the importance of being organized and completing admissions on time . I learned about graphic requirements, organization and I was given multiple resources to help better the efficiency of my term. I also learned to have fun. I learned to make friends. I learned that key club really is a big family. But most importantly I learned to laugh, live. And learn. - Manicka

CINCO DE MAYO MEETING I attended a canyon springs key club meeting on May 5, 2015. During this meeting we had fun while helping the earth. For our service project we went the length of the meeting without using our phones. We participated in the UNICEF tap project, a website that donates a day’s worth of water to a kid somewhere in the world for every 15 minutes you go without your phone. You would think that it would be impossible for teenagers to go without their phones but our members are not average teenagers. During this meeting we completed our club agenda. This club meeting was full of laughs and generosity.

Froyo 5k fun
The froyo 5k event was a running event May 9, 2015, key club members volunteered at the event and helped serve frozen yogurt to the runners. I had a lot of fun volunteering with my friends. It was unlike any other event that I’ve been to. The event had something for everyone to enjoy. My favorite part was talking to the runners and other volunteers. The runners were very charismatic and thanked us for helping make the event possible. The volunteers were also kind and were very excited to help. I think the event was a success and I can’t wait for the next one.
