ltg's ltg's welcome welcome
Spittle Drizzle, Llama Friends! Welcome to the very last issue of The Llamas Legends for the 2020-2021 term! We are now at the end of the term and I would like to say that Division 2 South, you never fail to amaze me with your endless passion to serve! We have accomplished so many things despite being virtual and regardless of how you are feeling, I am so proud of each of you for giving it your all. With all of your help, we as a division have exceeded our service hour goal and served over 6,500 service hours in just one year. We have created stronger bonds not just between our members and officers but also with our advisors. You all have worked that hardest this term and I am so glad to see each of you shine your lights! This term has been a wonderful one and I want to express my gratitude for giving me the chance to serve as your Lt. Governor! Although it saddens me that our time together is ending soon, I will forever cherish all the amazing friendships and lessons I have gained from you all. Each of you have made an impact in my life and I hope that you all had a great experience this term. It truly is my honor to be writing this and although my journey is ending soon, please still feel free to contact me whenever! I will always be here rooting for you all and I hope to see you all shine even brighter. This ends my letter to you all and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Division 2 South!

editor's editor's note note
Hello One Last Time, Llamas! We are now at the last issue of The Llama Legends. I can't believe it! It has been such a fun experience. Thank you for everything you have done Division 2 South! It feels surreal writing my last note for this newsletter. I remember joining Key Club my freshman year looking at the newsletters in awe, not knowing that I would be creating the newsletters in a few years time. As for all of us, we have overcome so much adversity and still kept pushing and even surpassed our service goal. There is no way to put in words and give you all justice on how much you all have impacted the world. Although we have not seen each other in person in over a year, I feel a connection with every single one of you and with such a great community, I have no doubt that is reciprocated. This term has been unpredictable but nonetheless, I am proud of everything we have done. This experience has left a true mark on us as humans but this is just the beginning. I can't wait to see you all thrive in the future and become the best version of yourselves! It truly is my honor serving you as your division news editor and for those who are reading the newsletters just like I was, thank you, really. Although I do not know who reads them, I have a genuinely built a connection with you while you appreciate the work that was put in this term. And with that, I thank you for allowing me to serve, Division 2 South.
With a PASSION to serve, Claire Liang Division 2 South News Editor 2020-2021

members of of the the month month members Debby Li KIPP KING Our board chose Debby to be MoM because Debby has been an active member for the month of February and dedicates a lot of her time serving others. Despite being new, she is curious and is not afraid to ask questions!
Yulieth Aguilar LPS HAYWARD
We chose this member because she has been putting in many hours into our Charity Miles service event consistently!
Yong Situ SAN LEANDRO We have chosen Yong because of his passion in Key Club. He’s been joining our events in the past month despite the fact that we’re still stuck online. Over the past few months, Yong has participated in events like the Bean Bean Bean Tournament with Castro Valley and the Movie Night.

officers of of the the month month officers Michelle Ma KIPP KING
Our board chose Michelle Ma to be the officer of the month for February because she has been balancing school, clubs, and personal life. Although she is busy, she continues to make enough time for Key Club. She is extremely dedicated and a great leader.
Darleene Nguyen LPS HAYWARD
We chose this officer because she always holds her fellow Vice Presidents accountable for monthly recognitions and was one of the few officers who attended the February DCM. We appreciate her so much. :]
Jacob Onia SAN LEANDRO
This past month Jacob Onia has proven his great dedication and will for our club. Despite certain time barriers, he was able give an immense amount of help to our club president when working on our club’s Club Of The Year E-Portfolio. He was also one of two of our members to earn Silver Level Recognition!
