Nara Roesler has been dealing with contemporary art since 1975. In 1989 she established Galeria Nara Roesler in São Paulo and during these two decades took an active role in promoting the best of Brazilian contemporary art production along a staff of committed art experts. We have a special interest in diversity and our artists come from different generations, ranging from Helio Oiticica and Abraham Palatnik to younger artists like Cao Guimarães and Alberto Baraya. We also host shows curated by intellectuals like Victoria Noorthoorn and José Roca, which open up exciting new perspectives and dialogues. In 2004 Galeria Nara Roesler launched a project of collaborations with international galleries called Roesler Hotel designed as an open social network experiment linking our scene to a broader universe. Moreover, we remain connected to collectors, artists and institutions through a website that hosts textual and video material about our artists, exhibitions and publications. view of Galeria Nara Roesler
