The Additional districtmagistrate who works as the ex-officio Registrar for the district is vested with necessary powers under the Registration Act. The district treasury is located at Chhatrapur and there are ten Sub-Treasuries under it at Asika, Bhanjanagar, Kodala, Paralakhemundi, Sorada, R.Udayagiri, Buguda, Digapahandi, Hinjilicut and Chikiti. Besides, there is one special treasury at Brahmapur. These are manned by the officers belonging to the Odisha Finance Service. In absence of OFS officers, the officers belonging to OAS remain in-charge of treasury/sub-treasury. District Planning Board

Compiled report for entire studio works. The students of the final year of the “Masters in Environmental Planning and Management (MEPM)” at the Department of Planning at SPA Vijayawada has taken up a planning studio project that is aimed at applying environmental planning approaches and techniques in the traditional regional planning process. While undertaking core regional planning exercises for the development of a region, particular emphasis and inclusion of natural resource baselines, assessment of environmental status, and impacts of anthropogenic activities on environment has been the motive. The outcome of the work of the MEPM batch has been titled as “Integrated Regional Environmental Plan for Ganjam District 2041”.
