Presented by Jan Holden, Ed.D., LPC-S, LMFT, NCC, Department Chair, Professor, Counseling & Higher Education, at UNT. Grief is a normal reaction to loss. Nevertheless, in response to the death of a loved one, grief can be challenging. According to anecdote & research evidence, experiencing or witnessing any of three types of transpersonal experiences – those that transcend the usual personal limits of space and/or time – often reduce grief. These three types of experiences & their effects on grief are the subject of Dr. Holden’s presentation.

History Explorers: Flight November is National Aviation Month & we will celebrate by learning about the history of man trying to fly. We will read about the Wright Brothers & build & test different paper flying machines of our own. Ages 6-8.
