El primer nombre de la categoría Côtes de Provence está en su décima cosecha y ya es un estándar. Sacha Lichine, propietario de Château d’Esclans, ha dicho que la cosecha 2016 de Whispering Angel cumple a cabalidad en complejidad, elegancia, equilibrio y disfrute profundo. Lichine afirma que este vino hace un gran trabajo transportando a los consumidores a Provence, el hogar espiritual de vino rosado.

La calidad de este vino emana de rigurosas prácticas vitivinícolas y maestría artesanal supervisada por Patrick Leon y su hijo, Bertrand. Estos factores contribuyen a hacer los grandes y maravillosos vinos embotellados de Château d’Esclans.

La línea abarca tres rosados, el Rock Angel, del que la crítica y periodista británica Jancis Robinson ha dicho: “La cosecha 2016 tiene un ahumado atractivo y una personalidad asertiva con duración y capacidad de acompañar la comida”.

Les Clans 2015 obtuvo una Medalla de Oro en el Global Rosé Masters de Londres y ha sido definido como “complejo e intrigante y un buen vino para la comida” por Jamie Goode de Wineanorak.com. El Garrus obtuvo una calificación perfecta 20/20 en su cosecha 2015 del periodista vitivinícola Matthew Jukes, quien afirmó que “es un vino que un día será mencionado al mismo nivel de vinos como La Tache, Latour, Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises y Le Montrachet”.

Hace solo diez años, la categoría rosé era impensable. Whispering Angel, the first name in the Cotes de Provence category, is now in its tenth vintage of being the indisputable standard. Declaring the 2016 vintage of Whispering Angel to be everything he has strived for in terms of complexity, elegance, balance &, above all, thorough enjoyment; Lichine is exuberant about this wine which does an amazing job of transposing consumers to Provence the spiritual home to rosé. Les Clans, which for its 2015 vintage scored a Gold Medal in the London based Global Rosé Masters, has been referred to as “complex & intruiging and a really good food wine” by Dr. Jamie Goode (the Wineanorak.com). Garrus received a perfect 20/ 20 rating for its 2015 vintage from wine journalist, Matthew Jukes who says “it is a wine that will one day be mentioned in the same breath as wines like La Tache, Latour, Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises and Le Montrachet.”

Ten years ago the rosé category was an afterthought and nondescript.
