BOUCHARD PÈRE & FILS FUE FUNDADA EN 1731 EN BEAUNE, LA CAPITAL HISTÓRICA DE LOS VINOS DE BOURGOGNE. LLEVA 280 AÑOS Y MÁS DE 9 GENERACIONES PRODUCIENDO VINOS, LO CUAL LA CONVIERTE EN UNA DE LAS CASAS DE VINO MÁS ANTIGUAS DE LA REGIÓN. BOUCHARD PÈRE & FILS WAS FOUNDED IN 1731 IN BEAUNE, THE HISTORIC CAPITAL OF BURGUNDY WINES. THEY HAVE BEEN PRODUCING WINE FOR 280 YEARS AND MORE THAN 9 GENERATIONS, MAKING IT ONE OF THE OLDEST WINE HOUSES IN THE REGION.

Bouchard Père & Fils hoy abarca 130 hectáreas de viñedo excepcional en el corazón de la Côte d’Or. De ellas, 12 son Grands Crus y 74 Premiers Crus. Bouchard Père & Fils controla cuatro viñedos, que son objeto de atentos cuidados: Beaune Grèves Premier cru tinto Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus; Beaune Premier Cru blanco Clos Saint-Landry,

Monopolio; Beaune Premier Cru tinto Clos de la Mousse,

Monopolio; Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru blanco La

Cabotte. Desde 1995, forma parte del Grupo familiar Henriot, que se compone de Champagne Henriot en Reims, William

Fèvre en Chablis y Villa Ponciago en Fleurie, Beaujolais.

EL CASTILLO DE BEAUNE, UNA HERENCIA ÚNICA

Establecido en el Castillo de Beaune desde los albores del siglo XIX, Bouchard Père & Fils es el guardián de esta antigua fortaleza real, cuya primera construcción data del siglo XI y que fue completada en el siglo XV por el rey Luis XI.

Hoy, todos los Grands Crus y Premiers Crus descansan en las bodegas subterráneas del castillo protegidos de las vibraciones y las variaciones de temperatura. Los muros, que en algunas zonas alcanzan los 7 metros de espesor, mantienen de forma natural las condiciones de maduración y envejecimiento ideales. Las bodegas albergan una inigualable colección de 2.000 botellas del siglo XIX, entre las que se encuentran vinos legendarios como el Mersault Charmes 1846, Montrachet 1864, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l’Enfant Jesus 1865…

NUESTRA FILOSOFÍA: REVELAR LA PERSONALIDAD DE CADA TERRUÑO

“Somos afortunados por tener una finca en el vértice de la pirámide de las denominaciones de Borgoña, una propiedad muy excepcional que elabora algunos de los más prestigiosos vinos de categoría Premiers Crus y Grands Crus del mundo. Cada año, cada vino que elaboramos tiene una historia que contar, y lo que nos distingue es que nosotros escuchamos y trascribimos esa historia con toda la paciencia y la infinita atención al detalle que se merece. Nuestro Beaune Grèves Vigne de L’Enfant Jesús es un vino mágico: al degustarlo, uno siente la armonía, el equilibrio perfecto al que no le falta ni le sobra nada. El viñedo solo cubre 4 hectáreas, pero hace alarde de 7 terruños distintos. Por eso, vinificación y crianza se efectúan “escuchando” cada pago. El corazón de Grèves, más arenoso, produce vinos muy maduros y de una extraordinaria pureza. El equipo debe respetar estos Grandes Vinos y dejar que se expresen por sí mismos”.

Bouchard Père & Fils has built up an exceptional estate which now extends over 130 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Côte d’Or, 12 of them are Grands Crus and 74 Premiers Crus. THE CHÂTEAU DE BEAUNE, A UNIQUE HERITAGE

Established in the Château de Beaune in the early 19th century, Bouchard Père & Fils is the guardian of this former royal fortress, the earliest parts of which date from the 11th century and which was completed in the 15th century by King Louis XI. Today, all the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus rest in the cellars, protected from vibration and temperature variations.

The walls, which reach up to 7 m thick in some places, naturally create and maintain ideal conditions for maturation and aging.

The Château is also home to an unrivaled collection of 2,000 bottles from the 19th century, including legendary wines such as Meursault Charmes 1846, Montrachet 1864, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l’Enfant Jesús 1865 ...

OUR PHILOSOPHY: BRINGING OUT THE PERSONALITY OF EACH VINEYARD

“We are fortunate to have a domain that is at the top of the pyramid of Burgundy appellations, a phenomenal estate consisting of Premiers Crus and Grands Crus which are among the most prestigious. Every wine that we produce has a story to tell, and what sets us apart is that we listen and transcribe that story with all the patience and infinite attention to detail that it deserves. Our Beaune Grèves Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus is a magical wine: when you taste it, you feel the harmony, a perfect balance which needs nothing added and nothing taken away. The vineyard only covers 4 hectares but it boasts 7 distinct terroirs. Vinification and ageing are therefore carried out through “listening” to each batch. The heart of the Grèves produces very ripe wines, sandier and of extraordinary purity. The team has to respect these Great Wines and let them express themselves."
