On March 4th Oxnard High School Key Club teamed up with Food Forward for the Meiners Oaks Fruit Harvest. From nine to eleven am, members picked fresh fruit that was donated to Food Foward's partner agencies. Collecting several buckets, volunteers played a role in working to fight hunger. Club Elections 2017 During the month of March, we hosted our annual clubs elections. The candidates had gotten their speeches ready for election day and was anxious to see who won. Hey there Arctic Foxes! You’ve made it. You’ve done so much and seen so much in the past year, and now you’re standing on the edge of a new Key Club term. You’ve got a lot to be proud of—where are you going to start?

The cheers will still be ringing in your ears. You’ll be replaying spirit battles, reliving conversations, and rewinding memories. You’ll wish that it had all lasted a little longer. Can you go back? Only in memory can you put yourself back in the classroom where you’re attending your first meeting, the beaches of your first beach cleanup, or the amusement park as the lights of the afterglow set on your favorite Fall Rally. That isn’t quite it, though. Memories have been made and will continue to be made, but right now’s a time for celebration. When you submit your articles, visuals, and nominations, I look at them and see what you’ve accomplished over the past months. Memories keep piling up on that desk of yours and you never wish for it to end, well, unless you’re working in a cubicle, I guess you would.

Remember this when DCON comes around and the retirement ceremony begins, you’ve done so much in this term, why not continue down the path or service and caring. Leave a legacy for those before so that they may follow your steps to success. I am sad to say goodbye, even after 3 years. I know that the new DNE will continue what already has begun. I will see all of you in the next term. As I always say, until then, stay foxy! :)
