In April 17 Pacifica key club volunteered in the Aut2run in Ventura County, this event made our members cheered and motivate the runners of Aut2run it was incredibly fun especially for our new members as well. The greatest part was seeing many runners make it through the Finish Line because they would see a whole crowd cheering for them. ~Charles Abuan, Pacifica HS Key Club Editor

For the month of April Santa Paula High School Key Club Division 42 West, Region 10 teamed up with another environmental club to participate in our annual Punch Bowl Clean Up near St. Thomas Aquinas College in Ojai on Saturday, April 23. Our monthly service event started at 8am and lasted until 2 pm. All the members in the picture picked up pieces of trash with gloves and carried trash bags all through the hike. Even the day was very hot and long, we enjoyed the time being together to clean the beautiful hiking trail. ~Jessenia Montiel, Santa Paula HS Key Club Editor

On May 14th, Ventura's Key Club held their second cereal social, which included a beach clean up and a service project. Twelve members participated in this event. After bonding over bowls of cereal, the group combed Marina Park and the neighboring beach for trash. Despite the foggy weather, everyone was enthusiastic and had a great time making the beach cleaner. In addition to this, the group made dolls as a service project. The dolls were pre-sewed, but they required stuffing and trimming. Twenty one were made in total. They will be sent to a third world country by the end of the month. Overall, the event was a success, and the beach community greatly benefited from everyone's hard work. ~Chloe Bergan , Ventura HS Key Club Editor
