Aloha D42W Butterflies! My name is Daniella Viorato and I proudly serve as your lieutenant governor for the 2021-2022 term! I’m a senior at Oxnard High school and this will be my third year with Key Club. I run for Oxnard’s cross country and track team so running is clearly a hobby of mine. Apart from school I love baking, painting, listening to music, and watching Netflix. If I’m not doing homework, I’m probably rewatching Criminal Minds for the billionth time. I’m so excited for this term ands can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces soon!
Hello all I'm Hazel Acosta and I am so glad to be one of your Executive Assistants this term! A little about myself, I am a sophomore at Pacifica and besides Key Club I also play volleyball. I also love the game Genshin Impact so if yall want to co-op send me the UID yuuuuuuuuuh. But regarding as EA, I'll make sure to reach your set expectations and definitely go beyond for the division. I'm very excited for this term with you all, especially now that we can finally gather in person.
I’m Zaide Pasion. I’m currently a sophomore and I’ve been in Key Club since my freshman year. I’m very excited to work with everyone this year to make our Key Club the best it can be!
Heyyo! I’m Christabelle and I’m the one that helped make the newsletter you’re reading right now! I am a senior at Oxnard High and also a secretary for my home club. This year, I hope to bring home another distinguished newsletter to our division, just like last year. I’m so excited to have many of y’all be featured in here and to get to know more about y’all. Right now I’m obsessed with playing Genshin Impact (dm your UID!!) and watching streamers like Lilypichu and Masayoshi! Again, I’m so excited to serve y’all and can’t wait for the coming year!
Hi y’all! My name is Ashley and I'm an upcoming junior from CI. This upcoming year will be my second year in Key Club and I am very excited to be involved as we start returning to in-person activities! I enjoy drawing, reading, and delving into film analysis. As assistant news editor, I will be helping our new division news editor to the best of my ability in hopes of bringing our Butterflies an amazing newsletter!
Heyyy butterflies! This is my 4th, and sadly final, year in Key Club, and I can not wait to meet each and every one of you. My fave Key Club memory is attending Fall Rally, which I suggest everyone should attend! I love watching kdramas and spending time with my friends and family. Can’t wait to start off an amazing term!
Hello Division 42 West !! My name is Carolina Martinez, a Santa Paula Key Club member whose been involved in Key Club since freshman year. I am a senior and currently the Vice President of Santa Paula Key Club. I am so excited to serve you all as Division MR this term. My goals for this year are to attend all key club events, my favorite key club memory was a summer potluck we held two years ago where we had fun great food and fun games to play! Some of my hobbies include painting and photography and my favorite color is purple.
Hi guys, I'm Andy and I am going to be a senior this summer. I have been in Key Club for 3 years straight and I am loving every single moment of it. My favorite memory in Key Club is always the community service I have done and just making people smile while we're at it! My hobbies are basketball, taking pictures for sports in the area, and designing. I am so proud to be part of the DLT again this year and I can't wait to show you what I have in store for you all!!
Hey my name is Ethan Villanueva, I’m an upcoming senior and I go to CI this is my first year in Key Club. My favorite color is blue and I love playing video games and listening to music. Although I haven’t been key club too long I have enjoyed it a lot from joining the DCMs, to attending all the meetings. I’m very happy to be a part of this club and grateful for my position. A goal of mine for the term would be to make new friends and connections within the club and to make key club as enjoyable and entertaining as I can.
Hello, I’m Karina Fernandez, an incoming senior at Pacifica. A little about me, I speak three languages and recently I’ve been into embroidery and painting. This is my third year in key club and I look forward to holding in person events (hopefully) and being able to work alongside the dlt!
Hey butterflies! My name is Tracy Hoang, and I am an upcoming senior at Pacifica. In me free time, I like to hang out with my friends, binge-watch tv shows, and go on walks. A fun, mostly gross, fact about me is that I can crack nearly every joint in my body. My goal this term as SPC is to make sure all members feel included and safe as we slowly move events in-person.
Many of our members attended the first DCM of the term. During this DCM, our members had a lot of fun participating in the games that were provided for us, and took some pictures! We also introduced our new 2021-2022 Key Club Cabinet! We are so excited to work with everyone and for the new term!
During the month of May that our service commit service projects related t to honor the Mental Hea service projects were C Mental Health Awarenes had a general meeting seniors. We had a sen graduation and to send During the senior night w rooms dedicated to chal
we had two service projects ee came up with. The two o mental health and positivity th Awareness Month; the two halk Around the Block and Flyers. On May 24th we also to celebrate the graduating or night to celebrate their hem off to their future plans! e also had multiple breakout enges and games
For the month of June, Oxnard Key Club held two beach cleanups: one on June 12th and the other on June 26th. Both were at the Oxnard Beach Park and each person brought their own bag and gloves to use. There was a lot of trash brought over by the sea breeze or dropped by beach-goers, so we did our best to pick up as much of it as we could. The beach looked more beautiful than before and it was gratifying to rid the environment of any pollution that would've come from the trash. It's the community's job to keep our city clean and pretty, so we finished both cleanups knowing we did our part.
We started off June by holding a general meeting on June 7th. Now that elections have been successfully carried out one more year, things are coming out well. Being the first few months of the term, our new cabinet is adapting quickly and efficiently to their new positions. With great attendance, we took the time to get to know each other further through icebreakers before informing our members about ongoing and upcoming service projects. Overall, our club shows great commitment to Pacifica's Key Club as we all try our best to help each other in making the world a better place.
This past month, Santa Clara has been actively participating in the ongoing service project, Charity Miles. A lot of our members are getting their service hours in through a simple walk, run, or bike ride! Altogether, our club has reached over 3,300 miles as we continue to use the app. A lot of our members enjoy using Charity Miles because it helps keep us healthy while we can take pleasure in knowing that every step we take or ride we go on, we are helping raise funds for UNICEF or March of Dimes. Our highest ranked individual is our club secretary, Yvana Zarate, who has raked up more than 450 miles! We hope to keep up the great work through service.
