♡ 2 ¼ cups of all purpose flour ♡ ½ teaspoon baking powder ♡ ¼ teaspoon salt ♡ ¾ cup unsalted butter softened

Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar together until texture is smooth and creamy. Add large egg until fully combined. Mix together dry and wet ingredients until fully combined. Dough will be relatively soft. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Place each portion onto a piece of lightly floured parchment paper. With a floured rolling pin, roll the dough out to about ¼ inch thickness. Cover in plastic wrap. Refrigerate dough for at least 1-2 hours. Line 2-3 large baking sheets with parchment paper. Re-roll remaining dough and cut into hearts with heart shaped cookie-cutter. Arrange cookies on baking sheets 3 inches apart. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Decorate cooled cookies with pink icing. Enjoy!

♡ 2 cups powdered sugar ♡ 1 large egg white ♡ ½ teaspoon of water ♡ pink food coloring

♡ ¾ cup granulated sugar ♡ 1 large egg ♡ 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

♡ Combine sugar, egg white, and water until thickened and smooth ♡ Add desired amount of coloring


♡ ¼ cup cooked tapioca pearls

♡ 1 cup milk

♡ 1 tablespoon brown sugar + more for glass ♡ 1 cup ice

Cook tapioca pearls according to the package instructions (can find at local asian supermarket. Mix in brown sugar to give sweetness to the pearls.

As the pearls cook, gather ingredients to prepare the syrup.

In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and let it bubble until the mixture has thickened slightly around 5 minutes. It will thicken as it cools.

Transfer syrup to a bowl and let cool to room temperature.

Line the sides of a glass with brown sugar syrup.

Spoon in cooked tapioca pearls

Add ice and milk into glass

Stir until cooled. Serve with boba straw.

CIHS Senior Care Packages CIHS Key Clubbers donated lovely gift bags and baskets for the elderly at local senior centers. June DCM The June DCM was held on June 20th. There, the arctic foxes played tons of icebreakers and challenges.

General Meetings Many clubs held their club meetings over Zoom, including PHS.

June DCM D42W held their June DCM on the twentieth.
