Here we discussed our progress and status with our new LTG Tristan, who did a great job organizing this successful meet up. Santa Paula Club Day On September 7th, 2016 during lunch, Key Club hosted a table at the SPHS Club Day located in Center Courts. Many students interested asked questions, signed up, and paid membership fees. Our President: Natasha Martinez, Publicist: Jessenia Montiel, Treasurer: Joshua Lara, and advisor Mr. Rico were all present as we interacted with all the joyful students. Article submitted by: Jessenia Montiel, Santa Paula HS Editor Santa Paula Club Day In September 7th Pacifica Key Club hosted their first meeting of the year, surprisingly the meeting was packed with 40 plus people eager to learn more about wonderful things of Key Club in which astonished our officers. Meeting With Carol Before the school year started, officers Natasha Martinez, Larry Rentaria, and Joshua Lara attended a meeting with Kiwanis at our local pizza shop, Zapparelli's. There we discussed future events, past events, and how we can make our relationship stronger. Not to mention we received $250 for helping out with the Citrus Festival. Overall, the meeting was splendid for those who attended. Article submitted by: Jessenia Montiel, Santa Paula HS Editor Santa Paula Continues With Many Meals Every Wednesday from 4-6 PM, Many Meals has been going great. As the new school year started, new Key Clubbers have taken action and are eager to participate. The First Presbyterian Church is proud of those who are involved, and as the year goes by we hope the relationship between Key Club and the church grows stronger. Hello16Arctic Foxes! So how did the first few weeks in school go? Mine we wonderful! I hope yours did too! Can you believe that we’re already ending September?? I can’t believe that time passes by so fast! I hope you all already started doing community service and making sure to get new members in your club! Remember, more people means more fun so go out and recruits new buddies! RTC is coming up fast so I suggest you mark your calendars for the big day! Remind your members and be sure to bring your spirit because we’re going to be meeting divisions 24, 29 and our sister division, or rival I should say, not really, 42 east! Make our division look stunning and spirited and come all decked out in your spirit gear! We want to win that spirit stick! Now, school has been going on for some weeks now and I know many of you already started the tests, cornel notes, non-stop studying, or binge studying, for that AP test and maybe even for the PSAT! I know, it’s coming so fast but we better get it out of our way so that we can do so much more things! Remember, let’s start this new school year off with a blast! Go out, participate in events like the ColorRun or anything of that sort! Make yourself free and have fun, enjoy doing service! Enough blabbering for now, have fun and enjoy this year! As always, until next time arctic foxes, stay foxy! Chilling In Service, Noah Tyler T. Ratley Division News Editor, 2016-17 16
