the good news! ”Here’s Your Sign” Bikers, are a against the grain mindset. It’s shaped by a heart to ride free Behind Barz. Our World view looks forward through arms raised with hands wrapped to control Clutch, Gear, Throttle, and Brake. Clutch at the ready to move, changing gears to determine distance, and throttle for how fast one wants to get there, brake at arrival. The past two Months, I’ve had the clutch pulled in and determined looking forward to hear the command, ”Let’s Ride”. Anticipating the “Sound of our people” throttling up shifting gears pushing RPM’s exhaust into the amosphere, dreaming of the freedom of no stop signs...thats my kind of freedom. I am reminded of the song, “ Signs” by the “Five Man electrical band” back in 1971. Lead vocalist Les Emmerson wrote the song after a road trip on Route 66 in California where he noticed scores of billboard signs that blocked Gods creation scenery. “Do this don’t do that, can’t you read the signs”? Today, everywhere we go are signs, on doors, windows, tables, wear a mask, keep apart, sit here, don’t sit here, in this door and out this one.

Here’s Jesus’ only billboard sign . John 3:14-17 14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whosoever believes in Him, will have eternal life. 16 for God so loved the world (you), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 for God did not send His Son to condemn the world (you) ,but in order that you would be saved through Him.” Release the clutch, gear up with full throttle to the Cross and ride free set free by the only Sign that matters. Here’s your sign...the Cross of Christ!
Am chomping at the bit to foot slap a kickstand, release the clutch, gear up the throttle to a road that will take me as far away from signs...An open road, free from any sign that bids for my attention . The only sign I want to see is others with this same mind and heart set, “Not of this world”, N.O.W. Jesus prayed f or the Disciples, in John 17:14,15,16. “ I have given them Your Word, and the world has hated them because they are not of this world. 15 I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them safe from the evil one. 16 They are not of this world, just as I am not of this world”.
