Editorz Notez What a strange few months we have been living in lately! Are we in the twighlight zone? ...or maybe a parallel universe? If I wasn’t living through it I don’t think I would have believed it! ...not sure I do, anyway. But we will keep on keeping on!
Happy Independence Day
As many of you know I did not do a May-June issue. Way too many businesses were closed due to Covid 19. It wasn’t fair to the advertisers to print a magazine with very few places to distribute and many people not venturing out. But Behind Barz is back! Not all, but many businesses are back up and running. Bike events are starting to abound again. Hopefully there will be some normalcy again soon. Thank you all so much for your continued support during these trying times! We will get through this! If you pick up a copy of BB and do not find a sticker in the back, please don’t fret. Sometimes they fall out or folks pull them out... every issue may not have a sticker. You can send us a self addressed, stamped envelope and we will send 3 or more stickers directly to your mailbox. Just a reminder that Behind Barz Mag can bee seen and read on the web. We were the first motorcycle e-magazine in N.C. If you would like Behind Barz in your business, please give us a call: 252-314-8589...Our ad rates are unmatched by ANYONE in the motorcycle realm! Distributed to NC, SC & VA in hard copy and full color, glossy! If you care about your business, let people know you do! You get a lot for your hard earned money when you advertise with us! We promote your events, bike runs, benefits, and your business relentlessly! NO NEWS PRINT HERE! You can find us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/BehindBarzMag and we are on Twitter and Instagram.
God Bless each one of you! Doobie

nc packs4 patriots Support Our Local Heroes
During the first five months of 2020, we have supported troops who deployed on a rapid deployment to provide protection and security in our world, troops serving during a global viral pandemic, troops having to be quarantined for their screening and safety, a shut down in our communities resulting in a loss of volunteers, requiring our core team volunteers to work by themselves or only in a small team of 2-3. We have had to develop protocols for protection including disinfectants, use of masks, and social distancing. Our donations from churches, schools, and civic groups stopped due to their activity shutdowns. Now our military has been called to support local law enforcement agencies in protecting our homeland. We have supported all five branches of the military during these times.

Photo above: Troops enjoying Girl Scout cookeies! The little things from home bring big smiles to their faces!
We have depended on donors providing donations through Amazon orders and are so thankful for those donors who came through with meeting our needs. The loss of fundraisers impacted our financials. Through all of this, God has blessed our mission with donations to meet the needs. Looking at the amount of care packages mailed, the amount of donations received, and the number of troops served with pickups at our center, we are so humbled and proud of our team who shows that America still cares for and appreciates the service of our military members. As you continue the support for our mission, we want to say thank you and we continue onward! ~ Barbara

Troops who are deployed and have a confirmed address are welcome to request care packages! Send name, address, and stop mail date to us by email to ncp4p@yahoo.com - information is only used for mailing labels and kept secure. You can also ask for special requests or needs and we will try to fill those. We ask that you let us know when packages arrive. Photo above: We are in the smiles business! Our troops love Girl Scout cookies!

Mardi Gras Roanoke Rapids, NC 22 Feb 2020 It’s a tradition. One that started way back at the original location of Collier HD years ago...Rudy’s Famous Gumbo and Crawfish at Collier’s Mardi Gras celebration. Rudy has it down to a science! Folks came from far and wide to fellowship and get some of that tasty grub! We saw familiar faces and some new ones. It was like homecoming, for sure! Collier HD had lots of the new Harley models on the floor and tons of new HD MotorClothes on the shelves. They had a 50/50 raffle and gave away a flat screen TV! It was a fun day and we hated to leave. Before doing so I was able to meet and talk to Victoria Taylor, the new owner of Collier HD. She was such a welcoming and friendly person! She took some time out of that busy day to talk to me. She was a very special person and I know she will be missed by so many! RIP and Godspeed to you Victoria.

Mayor, Charles Wood was a newspaper columnist for the Gold Leaf Farmer and the Zebulon Record (now the Zebulon Times) and he wrote about life in Lizard Lick. He is a local NC legend and was long before many folks had ever heard of the crossroads, Lizard Lick. The stories in his book, “Lizard Tales” as told by “Mayor” Charles Wood, are about the interesting people that he has met during his lifetime and his road trips across America and beyond. They are short anecdotes told from the Mayor’s view with lots of wit and wisdom. Some of his writings in this book are from the columns he wrote in the papers mentioned above from 1975 -1996. If you love first hand stories about people, places, and interesting happenings, then this is the book for you! Like the interesting tidbit about the Mayor living in the Lizard Lick schoolhouse that is now on display at the North Carolina State fairgrounds. He also tells us how Lizard Lick got its name and how that had something to do with moonshine. There are also a few pictures in the back of the book from years gone by in the life of Mayor Charles Wood. The Mayor is a talented photographer and vidiographer. He is very proud of his children and his many grand and great grandchildren. He is an active member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and his community. Read this book. You’ll be glad ya did! LOcals Limelight Stallings Alignment & Repair
NASHVILLE, NC Andrew Stallings, owner of Stallings Alignment & Repair in Nashville, N.C., takes great pride in his work. He works on each and every vehicle that comes into his shop himself. Often times correcting mistakes made by other shops because he takes the time to diagnose the problem and then he fixes it...he fixes it right, the first time! I know this first hand because Andrew has done work on my truck and installed new tires for me. I was very pleased with the results and have not had anymore issues since! Andrew started Stallings Alignment & Repair back in March of 2017. He has over 28 years of experience in the automotive industry to back up his work from working at alignment shops, and several car dealerships when he was a teenager and young adult. Plus, for 6 years, he owned and operated Vicious Cycles in Nashville where he built custom motorcycles and worked on motorcycles for folks, as well. With Andrew, you do not have to read between the lines and wonder if he is trying to sell you something, because he is not.Andrew’s mindset is that he wants to be upfront and honestwith his customers...he wants you to come back. Not because it wasn’t fixed correctly but because you were happy with the job he did the first time and any work you may need in the future he is the first one you think of to take care of it! He has new front end equipment and lifts in his enormous shop. He works on brakes, does front end work, tires, suspension, he can install lift kits, he does general repairs....and he does the job correctly. Stallings Alignment & Repair is a biker owned and operated business. Give him a call if you have any questions 252-459-4828. His shop is located just a couple of blocks off the main drag in Nashville at 716 South Boddie Street. You can also pick up a copy of Behind Barz Mag in his shop! story: Doobie

Promise Kept
S
taff Sergeant Richard Johnson USAF, 1-30-1950 - 9-22-2019
Today will be a bittersweet day. I inherited my dad’s 2007 Honda Shadow, but I know I’ll never ride it. I ride my Trike. I promised my dad I would never sell it. But it’s not fair to the bike to just sit in the garage and never see the road again. So, I am donating it to an organization, that will fix her up, and give her to a vet to ride that needs transportation. They will be here this afternoon to pick her up.
Staff Sergeant Richard Johnson
Dad rode with American Honor Guard, and Patriot Guard Riders, he has the attachment for the 3 flags on the back, I’m planning on letting them go with the bike. In hopes that the new rider will fly the flags from the back one day, too. Maybe in parades like my dad did, or in honor of a fallen hero. I feel better knowing another Vet will get to enjoy the wind on my dads bike. And that I didn’t sell it as I promised him. I did ride it around the neighborhood once. Because I did promise him I would ride it for him. I have a bad left knee so a 2 wheel bike is not safe for me. I feel, I have honored my promises. But still sad to see her go. I had a professional photographer come out and take a couple glamour shots of her. Just heard from Military Missions In Action. I gave them my dads Honda, and my Genuine Buddy 125 Scooter. Someone applied for Dad’s bike already. They said the application came in, before they even left my neighborhood. The applicant lives in Tennessee. They asked if I knew the vet. I do not know the Vet. If this vet is approved. I wish him the best of luck. This bike has ridden in Rolling Thunder in DC, has rolled with the groups Rolling Thunder, Buffalo Soldiers, Masons, Leo’s, PGR, AHG, and many more.
Dad in a Parade.
MMIA’s varied programs work at providing support to Veterans who need construction project assistance due to disabilities or sub-standard living conditions and our homeless Veterans. We also send Care Packages to units that are down-range, as well as assist military families that are trying to make ends meet.

Remembering Bull
photos: Tuscarora MC
Steven “Bull” Vann Milligan, 60, of Fountain, North Carolina passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice Care Center in Greenville, NC. Steve was an active member of the Tuscarora Motorcycle Club in Snow Hill, NC and very much enjoyed riding his Harley with friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and raising beautiful German Shepherds. He worked as a supervisor at Wilson Iron Works. Steve was born in Whiteville, NC November 5, 1959. He is son of the late, Currie “Tom” Milligan, Sr. and Linda Stephenson Milligan. He was preceded in death by brothers, Currie “Kenny” McKenzie Milligan, Jr. and Robert Earl Milligan, Sr. He is survived by brother Terry Lee Milligan of Bracey, VA; sister Beverly “Becky” Marie Alderson of Ash, NC and William Conley Milligan of Walstonburg, NC. The family would like to send a special thank you to Steve’s best friend Marty Harrell for his constant care and support. In light of Covid-19, a Memorial Service will be held in the future. Following that, Steve’s cremated remains will be released over the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina. Condolences can be posted directly to Steve’s Facebook page where his personal quote reads “Happiness is where you find it, but rarely where you seek it.” In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to further German Shepherd Rescue and Adoption. GSRA, 1821 Hillandale Road, Suite 1B #326, Durham, NC 27705 (or online at gsdrescue.org).
Bikers For Christ present a plaque to the Tuscarora MC in honor of Bull. Bull got his road name after he and his girlfriend (at the time) wrecked his bike. He actually broke his neck during the wreck but picked her up and carried her to get help. Monsu said he was “as strong as a bull”. Although he was retired, he showed up to everything everywhere to show support. Just as he did before he got sick and even shortly after until he just couldn’t any more. He loved classic rock and roll and good music and would sing and play his guitar and after a few drinks would get out there dancing with the ladies. Bull always had a smile on his face and he was always laughing and joking. He loved watching the live eagle cameras avidly, as well as, other live animal cams. He loved german shepherds and he loved the mountains of NC. Some of his ashes were

spread at the clubhouse and the family plans on a trip to the mountains to spread some more. He particularly wanted some spread on the Tail of the Dragon. He was the real definition of a true club brother and friend. He was loyal to the end and loved his club and club family so much. ~Linduh

We Say Good Bye Charlie Brechtel “Good Time Charlie” Charlie Brechtel, a well-known musician, radio host and film producer in the American biker community, died in a two-vehicle collision near his home in Copperopolis, CA., on Saturday, 25 April 2020. Brechtel, 62, was killed when his motorcycle rode into oncoming traffic, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported.
Charlie Brechtel...biker, musician, radio host, film producer, brother and friend.
Brechtel was riding his 1987 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on O’Byrnes Ferry Road south of Duchess Drive, when his motorcycle crossed the double-yellow line, according to the CHP. Brechtel was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests were made, and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision, the CHP reported. On social media, friends, colleagues and fans of Brechtel mourned his passing. He was widely known for the long-running Charlie Brechtel Band, which performed during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally for more than 10 years and had songs featured in productions including FX’s hit series “Sons of Anarchy.” Brechtel was also a film producer and founder of Bikers Inner Circle Productions, as well as a host on the Bikers Inner Circle radio station. “Riding just two miles from his house, Charlie waved goodbye,” Brechtel’s media director, Felicia Morgan, wrote in a Facebook post Sunday. “A short time later, our beloved Charlie was gone.…Hug your people, tell them that you love them, and give us a minute to catch our breath as we try to make sense of the incomprehensible.”

Charlie’s celebration of life will be July 12th at Silver Barons MC in California. You can find the event on facebook. You can also see videos of his band’s live performances and videos of his radio shows.

The Bull Chro “Let me begin by saying thank you to “Doobie” for inviting me to be a contributor to Behind Barz Magazine. I’m truly honored and I’m looking forward to sharing the stories and pictures of my travels across America on “Bullwinkle”, a 2015 Heritage I bought after my wife died unexpectedly in 2015. That scooter and I logged 128,000 miles from January of ‘16 to the present date and we covered all 48 states in the first year on the road and have been back to most several times since. In the process of trying to fulfill a dream to ride in every state I’ve met and become friends with thousands of people from every walk of life and have been incredibly blessed to have followers on Facebook from 50+ countries around the world. I’ve been fortunate to be able to travel to several countries and have seen and been inspired by the beauty of each, but I’ve ridden alone to almost every mountain range, prairie, desert and the plains of America and I don’t believe there’s a more beautiful and awe inspiring country anywhere on earth. Having been a pastor (but definitely not religious or politically correct) for 25+ years I never lost the love God has given me for people. I thought when I resigned from my position in the church after my wife died that I wouldn’t minister again but nothing could have been further from the truth. I actually do more ministry now than I did inside the walls of a church, I still do everything from weddings, funerals, baptisms and baby dedications to marriage and grief counseling. There’s nothing more satisfying to me than helping others find peace and a reason for hope in the midst of a crisis or to navigate the curves life throws at us when we least expect them and to do it on the scale I am now is something I never saw coming but I embrace every opportunity I feel the Spirit leading me to.
22
Being a homeless scooter tramp/pastor for almost 5 years has taught me a lot about life and what really matters when the day is over. I never would have chosen the life I live now but looking back it’s obvious that there was a reason things happened the way they did and when, and today I can honestly say I’m thankful for it all. Sleeping on my scooter, going without food, riding sometimes thousands of miles to get to a sick or hurting brother or sister has taught me to not only appreciate the “little things” but to take the time to look for them because they were things I used to take for granted when “I had it all….” I fail at most things pretty often but I’m trying my best to live by a moto I heard whispered in my spirit a few years ago ie “the first rule of brotherhood is no brother (or sister) is left behind, which doesn’t just mean you stick with them on the side of the road when their scooter breaks down, you stick with them on the side of life’s highway when their heart is broken and they feel alone”. I’ve been through hell but I made it back because of the brothers and sisters who carried me when I couldn’t go on and I hope I’m able to do the same for others as the journey continues. I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know some of the people who read Behind Barz. I love sharing pictures of people I meet and the places I visit and it’s my hope that what I share in the future is uplifting and encouraging and that others are inspired to chase their dreams and to go out and see this amazing and awe inspiring country from a scooter saddle.” ~Bob Seymour 607-972-5047 bseymour75@gmail.com facebook.com/pvt1st

Biker Dog Buck story & photos: Colin Cassidy
Meet Colin Cassidy and Buckley. This Norfolk, Virginia native and his 3-year-old beagle mix do everything together – even ride! They started off small on a 2006 Harley Sportster 1200 and trips to their local dog park. Buckley rode on the fuel tank, resting his paws over the barz, and was tethered to his owner with a harness and leash. Buckley also sports a pair of dog goggles (doggles) courtesy of RexSpecs and has his own rain and cold weather gear. As Buckley got more comfortable on the bike, their trips got more adventurous. They would hit the boardwalk in Virginia Beach or even ride south through North Carolina to visit family, stopping at restaurant patios and parks along the way. But it was on a short trip back from their local dog park where their road took a turn. On a bright and sunny afternoon in June of 2019 they were riding the 1.2 miles back home from the park when the thing we never think will happen, happened. A driver who didn’t see them coming made a quick left turn, ignoring right-of-way, and they crashed. Colin and Buckley went flying. When they landed in the middle of the street both were in bad shape. Colin’s pelvis was shattered to pieces, his leg broken in 3 places, and he had several broken ribs. Buckley’s little body was much worse with a ruptured left lung, brain swelling, liver damage, internal bleeding, and a paralyzed leg. Time was of the essence. Colin acted quickly and called a nearby friend while he was waiting for an ambulance. She rushed to the scene and took Buckley to an emergency vet in Virginia Beach. The prognosis wasn’t good. The vet worked tirelessly trying to repair the damage and now it was a waiting game. Across town, Colin was surrounded by doctors in the trauma bay of the emergency room asking one question: Is my dog ok?

It was several hours before anyone knew anything for certain. Colin was resting after the first of four surgeries when he got the news – Buckley was going to be ok. However, his paw didn’t respond to treatment. His leg was paralyzed. Now they began a new journey together. Recovery. Colin was in the hospital for about a month before he was moved into an inpatient rehab facility that specialized in providing physical therapy to severely injured patients. Every single day his father would come by the hospital with a very special visitor. Buckley became extremely popular and made friends with all the doctors, nurses, and aides that came by their room. He was getting his own physical therapy three days a week at P.A.W.S. Rehabilitation, but wasn’t making much progress. His leg was still paralyzed and after six weeks the veterinarians at P.A.W.S. determined that it was going to remain that way. Slowly but surely, things got back to a new normal. Colin moved from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane and Buckley got used to hopping around with three legs. After eight months, there was one feeling that was more powerful than the pain – the itch to ride.
Above: Buckley and his driver, Colin Cassidy. To see more pictures and videos of these guys be sure to check them out on YouTube and Instagram @ BikerDogBuck!
Colin took the insurance payout from his totaled Harley and bought a new bike. His 2020 Ural Gear-Up in slate grey is anything but conventional and according to him the art of riding a sidecar rig is tough to master, but worth the effort. His new Ural comes fully equipped with spare tire and rim, shovel, gas can, and on-demand 2WD – pull a lever and the wheel on the sidecar gets power from the driveshaft (handy if you’re stuck in the mud or sand). Buckley was even more excited to get back in the saddle than Colin was. After taking delivery of their bike, the “tripawd” jumped right up into the sidecar, ready to go! As you can see from the pictures, they are happy to be back on the road. From trips to the beach and adventures in state parks to roadtrips north to Williamsburg and south to New Bern, this inseparable duo is grateful for life and showing it by enjoying every minute.

From The Mind of
Big Ed aka 2Timer
What’s Happening You Happy People! Okay if you will, I’d like to fast forward to the year 2021. I’m pretty much over this chaos. People are pointing their fingers. Never in my life have I worried so much about the world my children are going to inherit after we are gone. I would ask, where did we go wrong?...but I already know. It started at the house first. When little Johnny spoke back at Mom and Dad and he didn’t end up with his pork chops cooked. A book of understanding across the seat of knowledge. No, not all of this is our fault, sin is sin. Everything we are seeing is written in the good book. We might not like seeing it, but the good book says there’s only more to come. I have a major issue with seeing buildings burning down. I have a problem with folks throwing bricks at the cops and although I’m not all one with the man in blue, I know we need the men and women in blue. These folks go home go to work just like me and you. They have family waiting to see them. The times are getting bad and with so much hate towards the police I’m sure there’s families praying to see that officer come back home alive. It’s crazy! But what really does it for me is seeing old glory being burned. I see that red white and blue in a different light.
32
You see, my Dad went to Vietnam. He volunteered to go. He loved this country. He had respect for this country. He went in not just to fight the war but because he had skills and knew he could help. While he was there he went on a patrol in the jungle. While on patrol, he and some of his buddies where caught by the enemy. He was a POW for a bit. After working the crops he and a few others decided to escape. Long story short. They were caught again. When they were caught this time the Viet Cong decide to make examples out of him and his comrades. The Viet Cong ran huge fishing hooks through his thumbs and the same with the others. After they did this they strung him and his comrades up a few inches off their feet. The Viet Cong then decided to skin one of the men alive. My Dad never got over hearing the man scream! The man was just left to die in the hot sun. The following day, the Viet Cong walked up to the next man in line and did the same to him. After the third day, Dad was barely able to keep his bearings. He told me, that all he could remember was bodies falling everywhere around him and the dust blew up and he couldn’t see anything. The two men came up to him and cut him down. A marine owned formation of helicopters just happened to see the Viet Cong camp and saw the prisoners. Dad said, they were angels.
Now, I’ve heard this story along with many others. I loved my Dad and I know how much that American flag meant to him. So you can guess the love and respect I also have for it. So that’s where my line ends. When I see some young fool burning our flag all I can see is red. I don’t care what you problem is with this country. Take it up to the governor. Blame on some statue that’s been collecting bird shit for a hundred years. Better yet, go home to Mommy and ask her why she raised a weak minded spoiled brat. Burning our flag, this country’s flag, after the men and women laid their life down and gave the ultimate sacrifice for that flag. It’s their flag! It’s also your flag...and thank God that He put me in a country where that flag waves free!

Big Ed... I’m or people’s right to protest. I’m for anyone’s rights. Our country is built on it, but don’t burn the flag ‘cause your feelings got a little hurt. I understand that the law enforcement has some bad apples just like there’s bad apples in a lot of places of business or trade or any working occupation. Trust me. I’ve been working ever since I was old enough to do so. There’s just some people who are not cut out to do the work they do. I don’t go blaming every grocery store bag boy ‘cause one mashed my bread in the bag. I don’t go flipping my shit at every fast food joint ‘cause they got my order wrong. I don’t go blaming one entire race of people ‘cause I’ve had bad dealings with one or two people. That’s completely stupid. We need to focus our energy toward sitting in congress. We need to clean the whole building out, if you ask me. It’s all about money. Start cutting into their wallet. They work for us. If they can’t do any better then what they are doing now, its time that “We the people” start firing people for poor job performance. If all you got is sorry people to vote for then let’s wipe the slate clean and try again. I’m so glad I’m a biker. I have to hit the two wheels and clear my head. It’s a good thing that some wind therapy kinda drops all this chaos in the rear view when I ride. I can just say screw it! The way this country is going, I might have to do an iron butt ride or something HAHAHA!! Well that’s all from me for now. Stay safe out there and keep your ammo dry folks.

Musings of a Wa Traveling the US
I am not looking for debate and am perfectly fine if you take issue with my decisions. When my job was declared non essential, but pot shops were declared essential, I decide to socially distance myself at 70mph. They said fresh air and sunshine were the enemy of Covid19. They said stay 6 feet away from others. So, being non essential, I jumped on the Harley and stayed in the fresh air and sunshine while staying at least 6 feet from others. 13,000 miles and 38 states in 33 days. Here are the musings of a wandering barber: America is BIG. You can’t understand just how big until you spend weeks traveling through it. America is AMAZING! The people, places, sights, smells, geography, culture, local idiosyncrasies, customs, language variations, philosophical differences are all incredible to see and experience. America is BEAUTIFUL! Each state, even each region within states has it’s own beauty. Maybe different than what a person is used to, or expects, but has it’s own beauty, nonetheless. Nationwide, in my unscientific and anecdotal experience, 1/4 to 1/3 of people across all settings were wearing masks, and/or gloves. Small towns and more conservative areas, not as much. Large cities and more liberal areas, considerably more. McDonald’s, Starbucks, Dollar General and Family Dollar stores were almost always incredibly busy. I am convinced I had close personal contact with considerably less people than the Amazon box on your front porch has had. Every day. I had only 2 hotels refuse me. One small independent that said they were closed and apologized for taking my reservation. The other was in Arkansas and they said they were refusing anyone who was not an Arkansas resident.

andering Barber during a Pandemic
photos: Myrtle Beach HD
My favorite towns, hands down, were: Savannah, GA....Charleston, SC....Boone, NC ....Jackson, Wy. People truly are nicer in the South. I thought maybe bald, chubby barbers were a hot commodity down there, until I realized they call EVERYONE Darling, or Sweetie, or Honey. Anyone who says America is too crowded has never been to Nebraska....or Kansas....or North Dakota....or.....or....or.... I stayed with a few friends and family along the way. I will not thank them publicly, for fear people will look down on them for taking in a wandering soul during a pandemic....but you know who you are, I thank you, appreciate you, and am grateful! To all the others I know around this wonderful country, that I didn’t stop and visit, I apologize and know that I wanted to see so many others, but, asking to visit during this time is no small thing to ask and I wanted to spare you any uncomfortable decisions. Raccoons and possums are not the only species that can’t cross roads, evidently. Fox, coyote, elk, three species of deer, antelope, armadillos, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, pheasants, snakes, porcupines, beavers, marmots and a slew of unidentifiable vermin and birds were scattered all across every state. I enjoyed myself immensely. I sincerely hope you don’t think less of me for my travels. I don’t think less of those who choose to stay indoors and follow every conceivable precaution. I am comfortable with my choices and hope you are comfortable with yours.

the good news! WTL...Way, Truth, Life “Life gets tough, and times get hard. It’s hard to find the truth in all the lies. If you’re tired of wondering why your heart isn’t healing and nothing feels like home because you’re lost and alone just screaming at the sky. And when you don’t know what to say, just say...” (These are the lyrics in the verse of a song by the Band, Seven Times Down.) “At times we find ourselves at a loss for words, so let’s restart over. A restart will need a reference point, a place we can use to understand and judge an uncomfortable situation. A reference point is a fixed place to refer to another, an example is saying, “It’s the third tree on the right is where you’ll turn in the end.” The third tree is being used as a point of reference. It’s a place or item in which helps someone move in the right direction from where one might be now. Have you ever gotten yourself lost “Behind Barz“ on some back roads? I have, and when I did find myself lost, not knowing which way to go, I had to pull over off the road I was on to a safe spot to have a starting new reference point. Having G.P.S. on a smart phone is a beautiful thing, it gives one a reference point of your position on earth from high above the air. When the G.P.S. finds you, you’ll find an arrow on the screen -> ,,,that’s you! Now you have a new point of reference to move in a direction you choose to go. With a new focus and perspective for your direction to follow. Are you following this? It’s only when we can define where we are, that we will have understanding into the direction that is needed to go. Understanding involves information, correct information, in order to have a determined RIGHT direction. What is the Right direction? It is an action taken to increase to achieve the right place to end up at. G.P.S. will get you home for now, but this G.P.S. = Grace’s, personal, savior. Will bring one home eternally! By following Jesus’ W.T.L. Way, Truth, and Life.
Way.
Jesus’ way addresses our human instinct to this question, where are we heading? Faith in Jesus will lead us exactly to where we need to go when one rides with Him.

Rodger Duvall ~ Jesus Freak Thee Redeemed House biker Church
See, Jesus goes before us, so we can hear and follow His voice. John 10.
Truth.
How can we know Truth? By listening,. The Apostle John recorded in John 18:36, Jesus saying, “Everyone who is of the voice of truth listens to my voice.” Also, John chapter one, “In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.” Jesus is the beginning and end of Truth!
Life.
Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy.“ But Jesus has come that we my have life and have life Full Throttle! This is the only point of reference toward eternal life! With Jesus now as our point of reference we are lead in the best way and not get lost. “Life gets tough, and times get hard. It’s hard to find the truth in all the lies...Don’t listen to false news for the way to live. Listen to The Good Newz, The Gospel of Jesus. “If you’re tired of wondering why your heart isn’t healing and nothing feels like home because you’re lost and alone just screaming at the sky? When you don’t know what to say...Just say Jesus! And call out to The One Who Is The Way, The Truth, And The Life!”
Just say Jesus!

Saddled Baggage Biker poetry by Sorez the Scribe
We are a proud sponsor of Sorez’ new book, “Saddled Baggage” Volume Two! It is a collection of poems from the road through the eyes of a biker. Sorez lives it behind the handle bars of his motorcycle. He breathes it all in and then he exhales his thoughts to paper. His writings are from the heart, from living the life and relationships with his brothers and sisters of the wind. As you read his prose you can see the road up ahead, you can feel the wind on your face and the rumble of the road moving below you. You can feel the warmth of the sun on your body and you can smell the sweetness of the herbage along the roadside. It transports you there, in that moment. It is quite captivating! Delve into a copy. You’ll be glad ya did!
