Relay for life kick off Tracie DeGuzman | Treasurer - Elect “ I watched Key Club members play games, like musical chairs. I went to the first Relay For Life Kickoff here at Spring Valley earlier this year, but this time, they didn’t have limbo which I thought was a good way for members to be involved. It was a really nice experience to meet new people from other clubs and have a great time before the actual event. “ - Sophomore member, Tracie DeGuzma
Nicole Yelverton | Sophomore Member “ The Kick Off was really fun! We played hopscotch and checkers with other people which was made relay enjoyable. I watched people having dance battles and a surprisingly, a rap battle, which was pretty funny. The dance competition was really cool. One person who battled cancer and won the battle became a spokesperson for all of the members at the event. As he told us his story, he explained his struggle and showed us how Relay For Life can benefit other people like him. “ Keoni Yamada | Vice President of Members - Elect “ Everyone seemed really excited to be at the Kickoff! The energy and hype that the event received was immense! The rap and dance battle was definitely one of the main highlights of the night. Aside from that, I participated in the musical chairs event and almost won which gathered a lot of excitement from my friends. “
