Opportunity Village Volunteer for the Magical Forest “It was hot, but it was awesome. I liked the social aspect of the event, most specifically the teamwork. We worked, drank water, and went back to work. I would like to do this again because we get to learn more about each other while volunteering and everybody was nice. I would love to come back to the Magical Forest during its event since I helped set things up for it.” - Seth Ward, Freshman Member “It was a pretty great event and very educational. I learned how the opportunity village has changed peoples’ lives and how the Magical Forest is operated - mostly lights since we hung lights on the outside of the building. I would like to come back to the Magical Forest sometime and see how the community has come together to make this great event. I would totally volunteer for an event like this again.” Molly Horn, Sophomore Member “This was my first time attending a Key Club event. It was good, hot, but good. We fluffed a lot of garland and put a lot of lights up for the Magical Forest. I’ve never volunteered here before and I didn’t even know this event existed. I came here when I was 15, but I didn’t know that they had all of these things stored for an event. I didn’t know that a lot of people liked to volunteer and to my surprise, there were a lot of people waiting in a room to volunteer and I didn’t expect that there would be so many people. I’ll definitely be more prepared next time and bring sunscreen, but other than that I would like to volunteer here again.” - Ciara Sinks, Senior Member
