Message from the President Ala Rahman
"I cannot express how truly proud I am of all the members this year! We have increased our hours and even got the Club on Fire award for the first and second times! We couldn't have won all the awards and gotten the hours without all of you!"
September DWS: Tricycle Races Key Clubbers, Roll Out!!
On September 16, the September DWS was held at Mary Casey Black Elementary School. The Tricycle Races' purpose was to raise awareness for preventive health, safety, and awareness. We teamed up with CKI and helped out with fellow Kiwanis to make the Tricycle Races a success! From 8:30am3pm, our Key Clubbers took care of booths, watched over stations, and manned the actual Tricycle Races. Thank you to all who attended!

Antioch City Park Cleanup Fall Cleaning!
Deer Valley Key Club joined forces with Dozier Libbey's and Antioch's Key Clubs to clean up the Antioch City Park. 19 total people who attended were from Deer Valley! We cleaned up around the Antioch Park and the parking lots surrounding a nearby store. The event lasted from 12-3pm. When we were finished, we collected a total of 25 bags of trash! Not only did we clean the community, our three clubs bonded even more from this event. Hope to see you at the next park cleanup!

Yoc Bonding Antioch Power x3!
Once again, the "Yoc" Key Clubs (Deer Valley, Dozier Libbey, and Antioch) came together and participated in a Yoc Bonding! We "auctioned" off people, played games, did icebreakers, threw pumpkins, pied some officers, and fundraised for general club funds! This event really got a lot of the 3 clubs' members together. Division Spirit Socials
Where is the Spirit? The Spirit's Over Here! Sizzle Sizzle! All of Division 26 North came together and participated in two spirit socials! They were on September 23 (11am-3pm) and October 14 (11am-4pm). At these spirit socials, we learned all of the new cheers for FRN. It took some time,but we built a stronger unison within the whole division. We also worked on arts and crafts to use. Who's excited for Fall Rally North!?!?

Upcoming Events DVKC Spirit Week | October 16 - 20
Deer Valley Key Club is hosting a Spirit Week for their members! Monday: Wear Green for D2's Kiwis. Tuesday: Wear Black for D8's Ballers. Wednesday: Wear Blue for D26S's Blue Devils. Thursday: Wear Red for D26N's Red Devils. Friday: Wear any of the four previously mentioned colors. Text an officer during lunch so we can recognize it, and we will count up your total spirit for a chance to be recognized in the Deer Valley Key Club website!
Fall Rally North | Saturday, October 21
The big event is right around the corner! If you want to attend FRN, you must have attended: 1 Spirit Social, 1 Club Meeting, and 1 Key Club Event. You also must have paid the FRN dues ($34). If you didn't attend one of these, and/or if you didn't pay your dues, you CANNOT go to FRN. You should've spoken with an officer if you had difficulties!
