SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CHILE
The Scholarship for Academic Excellence aims to promote the academic and human education of students with high academic performance in the University selection test, interested in the undergraduate academic offer of the University of Atacama.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students from the region or country who have demonstrated high academic performance interested in pursuing careers taught by the University of Atacama. For full eligibility requirements, click here. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded financing for their full tuition fees. Three scholarships will be awarded per year. CHILEAN NELSON MANDELA SCHOLARSHIP
The Chilean International Cooperation Agency (AGCI) is offering scholarships for accredited Spanish-taught master’s program at Chilean higher education institutions in 2019.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of South Africa, Mozambique and Angola and preferably to those who work in the public or academic sectors in their home country. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded all expenses including tuition fees, graduation costs, medical insurance, monthly allowance, and their return airfare. DEADLINE: October. Learn more here.
SYLFF – UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE
SYLFF is designed for Chilean or foreign students, particularly from Latin American countries, with excellent academic performance and demonstrated leadership potential in their area of development, who before applying for the scholarship are duly accepted or enrolled in the graduate programs of Universidad de Chile.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to Chilean or foreign master’s students at Universidad de Chile. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded tuition fees, health insurance, and travel fees. DEADLINE: The deadline varies. Learn more here.
JUAN GÓMEZ MILLAS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is designed for needy foreign students from Latin America and the Caribbean who choose to further their university studies at a traditional or private institution accredited by the National Accreditation Commission.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to foreign students who reside in Chile and come from Latin American countries or the Caribbean. For full eligibility requirements, click here. UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS: UNIVERSITY OF TARAPACÁ (ARICA)
This scholarship allows high school students from Bolivia to study a degree course at Universidad de Tarapacá (UTA). The pre-degree courses that can be studied within the framework of the Scholarship are exclusively those offered by the UTA.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to candidates with Bolivian nationality, as well as permanent residence in Bolivia. Candidates must also have an excellent academic performance, that is, be among the four best averages of their school or high school. That is, average higher than six point five (6.5). AWARD: Recipients will be awarded monetary aid for the purchase of a passage per year, from the place of origin in Bolivia to the city of Arica and its return. SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CHINA
MOFCOM SCHOLARSHIP
MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries, as well as to develop talents for developing countries. Starting from 2015, MOFCOM Scholarship mainly sponsors the young and the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue their postgraduate degree education in China and entrusts China Scholarship Council to administer the Scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students meeting the following requirements: be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health; be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for master’s program; be a master’s degree holder when applying for doctoral program; be under the age of 45 when applying; have sufficient English or Chinese proficiency which meets the academic requirements of the program. English: IETS 6.0 or above, Chinese: HSK level 4 (score180) or above, or other evidence which indicates your English or Chinese proficiency is adequate.
