EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIPS IN FRANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enrol in their master’s and PhD courses. It helps to shape future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applications from emerging countries at master’s level, and from emerging and industrialized countries at PhD level.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to candidates of non-French nationality. Candidates with two nationalities, one of which is French, are not eligible. For full eligibility requirements, click here. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a monthly allowance of €1,181 EUR (a maintenance allowance of €1,031 EUR and a monthly stipend of €150 EUR). In addition, the following expenses are directly covered: one international return journey; social security cover; and cultural activities. CIVIL SOCIETY LEADERSHIP AWARDS

The Civil Society Leadership Awards (CSLA) provides fully-funded scholarships for master’s degree study to individuals who clearly demonstrate academic and professional excellence and a deep commitment to leading positive social change in their communities.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of the following countries: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Laos, Libya, Myanmar/Burma, Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. AMPÈRE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible master’s programs offered at ENS de Lyon.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to all international students enrolling in a master’s degree. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded €1,000 EUR a month during one or two academic years. DEADLINE: January. Learn more here.

ENS INTERNATIONAL SELECTION SCHOLARSHIP

Each year, École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international selection allowing the most promising international students, either in science or in arts & humanities, to follow a three-year master’s degree at the University.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international students who fit the following criteria: Candidates must not be after their 26th birthday when they apply; candidates must not have applied to the International Selection before; candidates must not have lived in France more than 10 months during the academic year of the selection (September 1st – August 31st) nor the previous year; candidates must justify at least one year of undergraduate studies awarded by a foreign university during the calendar year preceding the start of applications; candidates justify at least two years of undergraduate studies in a foreign university on the 1st of September following admission. EMILE-BOUTMY SCHOLARSHIP

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to welcome the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to first time applicants from a non-European Union state whose household does not file taxes within the European Union, and who have been admitted to the undergraduate or master’s program. INSEAD SYNGENTA ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP(S) FOR EMERGING COUNTRY LEADERSHIP

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to nationals of an emerging economy who have spent a substantial part of their lives in the developing world, in education and/or professional experience. INSEAD NELSON MANDELA MBA SCHOLARSHIP FOR AFRICANS

To honor the life and work of President Nelson Mandela of South Africa, the INSEAD MBA Class of ‘75 created an endowment at their 30th Class Reunion to provide financial support for one or more African participants per year at INSEAD in perpetuity.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to nationals of a sub-Saharan African country who have spent a substantial part of their lives and received part of their prior education in Africa. Preference will be given to candidates who require proven financial assistance. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded up to €20,000 EUR. DEADLINE: June. Learn more here.

ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships, funded by the European Union, are exclusively awarded to students coming from both EU and non-EU countries that have been selected to attend one of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programs at master’s or doctorate level.

ELIGIBILITY: For full eligibility requirements, click here. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a monthly allowance, participation costs, and travel and insurance costs. Scholarship amounts can vary according to the level of studies, the duration of studies, and the scholar’s nationality (scholarships for non-EU students are higher than for EU students). UNIVERSITÉ PARIS-SACLAY INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP

The Université Paris-Saclay would like to promote access to its master’s (nationally-certified degree) programs to international students, taught in its member establishments, and to make it easier for highly-qualified foreign students to attend its University especially those wishing to develop an academic project through research up to the doctoral level.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students enrolled in Université Paris-Saclay master’s programs on academic merit-based basis. For full eligibility requirements, click here. FONDATION RAINBOW BRIDGE MBA SCHOLARSHIP FOR AFRICAN AND ASIAN WOMEN

The Fondation Rainbow Bridge Scholarship was established in memory of Muriel Dargent, Matthieu Dargent, Iris Dargent, and Muriel’s parents, all of whom disappeared in the December 2004 Tsunami.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to top-caliber female candidates who have been admitted to the HEC Paris MBA programs (full-time only) and who can demonstrate exemplary leadership skills in one or more of the following areas: Community work, Charity engagement, Sustainable development practices. MASTER SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GRENOBLE

The Initiative d’excellence (IDEX) Grenoble Alpes University is inviting applications for its Master Scholarship Program. Scholarships are open to foreign students who would like to pursue a master’s program offered by the following higher education and research institutions: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG), Grenoble INP, Sciences Po Grenoble, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to foreign students (i.e. students currently enrolled in a University outside France) who apply to one of the master’s offered by the following higher education and research institutions: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG), Grenoble INP, Sciences Po Grenoble, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).
