SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN COLOMBIA

COLOMBIAN GOVERNMENT POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

The Colombian Government is offering a scholarship program for foreign students to pursue specialist, master’s, or PhD (depending on the academic program) studies at a Colombian educational institution. Financial grants are offered to foreign citizens in return for international cooperation received by Colombia under existing cooperation agreements.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to foreign professionals in the range of age between 25-49 years old, who have an undergraduate degree in various disciplines, a grade point average of 4.0 on the Colombian scale of 1 to 5, and at least 1 year of professional experience in their field of study. COLOMBO PERUVIAN SCHOLARSHIPS

In the framework of cooperation relations between the Republics of Peru and Colombia, the Government of Colombia through the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad, Mariano Ospina Pérez, ICETEX, offers Peruvian citizens scholarships for the realization of Master’s studies in Colombian universities, contributing to the strengthening of academic cooperation and the transfer of knowledge between the two nations.

FULBRIGHT COLOMBIA SCHOLARSHIP

The Fulbright Program offers grants to Colombia for U.S. citizens. U.S. students and young professionals may apply for a grant to pursue independent research in Colombia, while U.S. scholars may teach or teach and research in Colombia through Fulbright. In addition, U.S. faculty and professionals may also apply for Fulbright Specialist grants, and U.S. students are eligible for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Program.

ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to candidates that can demonstrate a record of academic excellence in their postgraduate studies, have leadership skills, have a high sense of social commitment and competences in English.
