SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN IRELAND

NUI SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NON-EU STUDENTS

National University of Ireland Galway offers Scholarships to incoming students to the full-time primary degree courses offered in the University based on the result of the Leaving Certificate Examination from Northern Ireland and the U.K.

ELIGIBILITY: The scholarships are open to incoming non-EU students who have completed at least the final two years of their secondary school studies in Ireland, as evidenced by their enrolment in a post primary school recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for funding purposes, but who are not eligible for free fees or for fee at EU rates. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a scholarship in equivalent value to the annual fee chargeable to the student for the relevant program (excluding the Student Levy element of the fee). GLOBAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

The University College Dublin Global Excellence Scholarships aim to attract excellent candidates to UCD programmes and to encourage early application.

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

University Colleger Cork offers 11 Excellence Scholarships every year to applicants who intend to start a PhD Track.

ELIGIBILITY: The scholarships are open to both EU and non-EU students. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded with scholarships to cover EU tuition fees tenable for the duration of the student’s chosen postgraduate course. GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND - INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS

The aim of the GOI-IES scheme is to reflect Ireland’s engagement in targetpartner countries. Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships will be awarded to high calibre students from non-EU/EEA countries to study full-time in Ireland for a period of one year.

FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS

A number of generous merit-based scholarships are available to full-time Non-EU postgraduate students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at University of Limerick.

ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of Sub-Saharan Africa. AWARD: Recipients will be awarded with €2,000 to €4,000 reduction in tuition fees. DEADLINE: May. Learn more here.

GMIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology offers scholarships to Non-EU students depending upon their country of origin.

TRINITY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIPS

Trinity Business School offers partial scholarship funding to a number of talented applicants per programme. This is to promote gender, geographic and sector diversity, alongside recognition for academic and professional excellence.

Technological University Dublin Centenary Scholarship Programme encourages excellent candidates from around the world to apply to undertake postgraduate studies at Masters Level in TU Dublin, now offering 60 scholarships yearly.

BÚA Scholarship offers the opporutnity for students with Irish background to inspire and encourage the use of the language across the University.

WIT INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
