Ζώντας στη σύγχρονη τεχνολογική εποχή, μοιραζόμαστε την εμπειρία της χρήσης προϊόντων μαζικής παραγωγής που απευθύνονται σε ένα "μέσο" χρήστη. Το ίδιο το σύστημα ομαδοποιεί τις ανάγκες μας και φροντίζει με τα μέσα που διαθέτει (διαφήμιση κλπ) να επισκιάσει τις ιδιαιτερότητές μας, όλα αυτά τα στοιχεία που σμιλεύουν την ιδιαίτερη φύση του καθενός, προκειμένου να προωθήσει το "προϊόν" στις μεγάλες μάζες. Η μαζικότητα αυτή κάνει επίκαιρη, για το σύγχρονο αρχιτέκτονα, την ανάγκη αντίδρασης μέσα από το σχεδιασμό, εστιάζοντας στην προσωπικότητα του χρήστη. Η έννοια του "εξατομικευμένου" σχεδιασμού γίνεται όλο και πιο καίρια, σε μια εποχή που αναζητά κανείς να διαφυλάξει και να εξελίξει τα χαρακτηριστικά εκείνα που κάνουν καθέναν μας μοναδικό. Η εξοχική κατοικία αποτελεί κατάλληλο πεδίο για τη διερεύνηση και ανάπτυξη αυτής της ιδιαιτερότητας. Η κατοίκηση σε ένα μη αστικό περιβάλλον: Αφυπνίζει την αρχέγονη ανάγκη του χρήστη για άμεση επαφή με τα πρωταρχικά στοιχεία της φύσης, νερό, φωτιά, αέρα, γη. ◆ Εντείνει την απόλαυση. ◆ Συντελεί στην απελευθέρωση. Ο σχεδιασμός του αρχιτεκτονήματος δεν αποποιείται την τεχνολογία, αλλά με αρωγό αυτήν δημιουργεί ένα αποτέλεσμα που αναδεικνύει το φυσικό περιβάλλον. Η προσαρμογή του κτιρίου στις φυσικές καμπύλες του εδάφους, ο προσανατολισμός, η μελέτη των ρευμάτων του αέρα, ο σχεδιασμός της φύτευσης, καθίστανται προτεραιότητες του βιοκλιματικού σχεδιασμού, με στόχο μια βιωματική εμπειρία του περιβάλλοντος. ◆
Η έννοια του "χειροποίητου" προέρχεται από τη μικρή κλίμακα. ◆ Εκφράζεται με την χρήση φυσικών υλικών, όπως το ξύλο, η πέτρα, η τσιμεντοκονία, το μέταλλο, σε νέους συσχετισμούς και σύγχρονες συνθέσεις. ◆ Βασίζεται στο "ακατέργαστο" των υλικών και στην αφαίρεση των μορφών. ◆ Αναδεικνύεται μέσα από τη διαλεκτική σχέση μεταξύ του χρήστη και του σχεδιαστή. Living in the modern technological era, we share the experience of using mass produced products, targeted at the average user. The same system groups our needs and ensures, with the means it possesses (advertisement etc.), to obscure our singularities, all these characteristics that form one’s distinct nature, in order to promote its "product" to the masses. This mass culture somewhat forces the architect of today to react through design, focusing instead on the personality of the user. The concept of "personalised" design becomes more and more apt, in an era where one strives to safeguard and develop those characteristics rendering each of us unique. The country house constitutes a field eligible for the research and development of this singularity. Habitation in a non-urban environment: Awakens the primordial need of the user for direct contact to the primary elements of nature, water, fire, air, earth. ◆ Intensifies pleasure ◆ Contributes to liberation Architectural design does not shirk technology, but with its aid, it creates a result that highlights the natural environment. The building’s adjustment to the natural contour lines, the orientation, the study of wind currents, the landscaping, become priorities of bioclimatic architecture, aiming for an experiential environment. ◆
"Handmade" emanates from the small scale. Expresses itself with the use of natural materials such as wood, stone, cement screed, metal, in new correlations and contemporary compositions. ◆ It is based on "raw" materials and the deduction of forms. ◆ It is emphasised through the dialectics between user and designer. ◆

Η εξοχική κατοικία, επιφάνειας 950m2, η μορφή της οποίας βασίζεται στις τόσο έντονες, στον ελληνικό πολιτισμό ανά τους αιώνες, έννοιες της Τάξης και του Χάους, είναι τοποθετημένη σε ένα οικόπεδο 25,37 στρεμμάτων πάνω σε θαμνώδη πλαγιά με λιγοστά δέντρα, εν αντιθέσει με το ξηρό τοπίο της Αντιπάρου.
The 950 m² country house whose form is based on the notions of Order and Chaos, so vivid in Greek civilization throughout the ages, is situated on a 6,27 acre plot with steep slopes, mostly green, with a few trees that are an exception to the dry context of Antiparos Island.

H κατοικία σχεδιάστηκε και κατασκευάστηκε σε ένα προνομιακό, σε ύψωμα, οικόπεδο νοτιοδυτικά της Τήνου, διακόσια μέτρα από τη θάλασσα.
The residence was designed and constructed in a privileged - slightly elevated - plot, southwestern of Tinos, two hundred meters away from the sea.

Το έργο βρίσκεται στο ακρωτήρι του Αγίου Φωκά στη νοτιοδυτική πλευρά της Λέσβου, σε μια αγροτική περιοχή μέσα στους ελαιώνες με μοναδική δόμηση τα μικρά πέτρινα αγροτικά κτίσματα - ντάμια. Η τοπογραφία του συνίσταται σ’ ένα επικλινές παραθαλάσσιο οικόπεδο 35 στρεμμάτων με 300 ελαιόδεντρα.
The house is situated amongst the olive groves in the Agios Fokas Cape, southwest of Lesvos. It is a rural area where the only buildings seen are small stone rural huts. The topography consists of a sloping beachfront plot of 3.5 ha with 300 olive trees.

Η εξοχική κατοικία βρίσκεται σ’ ένα επικλινές οικόπεδο με καταπληκτική θέα στη θάλασσα και το νησί των Σπετσών. Στόχος της μελέτης ήταν ο μετασχηματισμός του τοπικού ύφους και η ένταξη στο φυσικό περιβάλλον μέσα από ένα μοντέρνο λεξιλόγιο.
The country house is situated on a sloping site with stunning views over the sea and the island of Spetses. The design study was aimed at modifying the local style while integrating into the natural landscape via a modern vocabulary. 14

The luxurious villa made of local volcano stone and glass, incorporates two old kilns in its design, resulting in a unique shelter with astonishing views to the Aegean Sea, on the 1 ha site. 17
Η κατοικία προορίζεται για ένα ζευγάρι και διαθέτει τέσσερις ξενώνες. Βασική απαίτηση των πελατών ήταν η μεγιστοποίηση της θέας προς τον κόλπο της Πλαγιάς.
Situated on the island of Syros, this summer house hosts a couple and their guests. The design process was defined by the clients’ desire to maximize the view towards the Plagia bay.
