Scramble to Support a Cure

ttention, golfers, get your 4-person golf scramble teams together now. The 2019 Coastal GA “On Par” to Cure Breast Cancer Golf and Social will be held at Brunswick Country Club on March 25-26. Here’s your chance to participate with a ladies, men’s, or mixed team, to make a donation for the silent auction, or to take advantage of sponsorship activities. Last year, with your support, they were able to meet their goal of $22,000 with all event proceeds going to Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia®. This tournament has increased its 42

donations to fight breast cancer every year and is typically in the top 4 or 5 largest fundraisers for Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia. In the past, the regional Komen affiliate has provided grants to local programs including Southeast Georgia Health System’s “Mammograms in Motion” and the Coastal Community Health Services. The cost to participate in the Tuesday, March 26 golf tournament and luncheon is $125 per golfer (due March 16) and includes admission to the Monday night social, golf, range balls, mulligan package, breakfast, cart snacks, lunch,
tournament prizes, and a donation to Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia. The tournament is limited to 120 golfers. The silent auction, raffles and social featuring music, “lite bites,” and cash bar will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25. $15 to attend the social if not participating in the golf scramble.
