EaStEr PhotoS with thE Bunny at thE carouSEl

A photo worthy backdrop like no other. Visit the Easter Bunny and capture a family photo at the Carousel. Small crafts will be provided and children are welcome to play in the playplace after their photo has been taken. A photographer will be there to take your family photo, and a digital copy of this photo will be shared with you. You are welcome to take your own photos as well. Register for your preferred time slot.

Doggy Egg Hunt

Don't forget to sign your family dog up for the annual egg hunt. Plastic eggs with doggy treats will be hidden all over the Al Hattendorf grounds. If your dog sniffs the egg they get to keep it. In addition to the egg hunt, dogs will take a photo with their best friend. An agility course will be available and each dog will receive a giveaway. All dogs must be leashed. Pre-Registration is required.

Looking for something to do on Easter-eve? Check out the Elk Grove Historical Museum’s Eggcellent Easter Celebration. Enjoy crafts, cookies, and an Egg Hunt! The Easter egg hunt will be separated into age categories.

Pre-registration required. No walk-ins accepted.

MothEr’S Day TEA TIME

Join us at the Museum as we celebrate those who make us who we are (literally), MOM! Treat Mom to a pottery painting and Tea party on her special day! Refreshments, hot tea, and iced tea will be served. Bring your favorite tea cup and wear your best tea hats! This is an all ages event, however the suggested age is 4 & up!

NEW TwEEn Lock-In

4th and 5th graders grab your sleeping bag and join us for an overnight at the Pavilion. Activities will include swimming, games and a late night movie. Pizza, ice cream and snacks will be served. Sign up with a friend for a night of fun! For any questions please contact the Youth Manager at 847-228-3518.

MurdEr MyStEry DinnEr

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the Garden Terrace and participate in the interactive murder mystery game “Murder at the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta.” Players will receive complete details of their character, including a detailed backstory and objectives they must achieve. Dinner will include a beef and chicken taco bar. Murder at the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta is a mymysteryparty.com game. A Cash Bar will be available. Need a babysitter? Drop off your little ones at the PAC Lagoon pool for a Parents Night Out event!

Need a break? Drop the kids off for an exciting, fun-filled evening at the Pavilion Aquatics Center pool. During this three hour event your kids will participate in games, make a craft and swim in our Lagoon Pool.

Spring Bazaar

Stop by the Sheila Ray Adult Center's annual Spring Bazaar and find the perfect Mother's Day gift. The Bazaar features homemade treasures such as: handcrafted items, ceramics, quilted, knitted, and crocheted items. Jewelry will also be for sale. We will have a raffle, and food available for purchase. Proceeds Benefit the Sheila Ray Adult Center.
