Heavy equipment out of order

Officers work extra hard

Semarapura (Bali Post) –

The officers in the final disposal area (TPA) in Sente village, Pikat, Dawan in Klungkung regency worked extremely hard. They are having trouble in handling all of the garbage coming to the disposal area. The officers available are 12 people divided into two shifts. The number of trucks coming to the TPA up to 30 trucks a day. The bad

conditions worsen by the broke down of the heavy equipment. The bulldozer was out of order since last year. There was no effort in fixing the equipments by the government because it is very expensive and maybe it is similar to the cost to buy a new one. The condition made the officers must work manually in handling the garbage. Continued on page 6
