Denpasar’s Billboard Being Criticize through Facebook Denpasar (Bali Post) –

The existence of social network such as e-mail, facebook, and other is currently being use by Denpasar people to criticize the government. In one of the facebook belong to Widnyana Sudibya, an inhabitant of Denpasar, a comment about a billboard in the city. He said that the billboard which is placed on Tamrin Street is inappropriate because the background is using a place from other regency. On the billboard that says “Create Denpasar as the Cultural City”, there is a picture of Balinese Dancer in Taman Gili, Kerthagosa which is actually a historical monument in Klungkung regency. This is the one complained by Sudibya. “Dempasar has many architectures that are very beautiful and attractive but why the government is using Taman Gili in Klungkung? Are they wanted to follow Malaysia? They must consider many things before publishing something.” Many similar comments can be seen on facebook. I Ketut Wisada, the head of Denpasar Garden Department refuse to comment on the issue. “We are still in Jakarta so we didn’t know about the problem,” he said. (kmb12)

Reconstruction of Murder to Japanese Citizen

After Spat, Suspect Stabs the Victim Denpasar (Bali Post)—

To complete the relevant files concerning with the murder case of Hiromi Shimada, 41, from Japan, investigators of Denpasar Metro Police performed a reconstruction on crime scene, on Jalan Sadasari No.17 Kuta, Badung, last Monday (Jan 25). In the reconstruction, two suspects were presented consisting of Mawardi alias Anto, 31, a resident from East Lombok, and Abdurahman alias Abdu , 20, a resident from

Jember, East Java. The reconstruction held by investigators started at 7:00 pm until 10:30 pm Local Time. There were 59 scenes exhibited by both suspects when killing the victim to death. Out of several scenes, it was showed that Anto crazed after the victim spat at him. He immediately stabbed the victim with a knife and killed horribly. Before being stabbed, the suspect saw the victim’s bathroom with the door open. Meanwhile, the desire of second suspect to rape victim even arose. Right

away, they entered into the victim’s bathroom and then tried to rape her. However, the victim refused resulting in resistance and disastrous murder began. Because of that resistance, the two suspects covered the victim. Mouth, hands and feet of victim were tied. Suspect Anto then sat on the victim while pinching the victim’s forbidden zone. “I was drunk. Therefore, I groped the victim’s vagina,” said the suspect after the reconstruction. When the suspect’s libido arose, bonds of victim’s mouth

were opened. However, after releasing it, she immediately exuded saliva and it affected the face of suspect Anto. Shocked by a blast of such spit, the suspect Anto immediately stabbed the victim to death. Both suspects were immediately brush victim’s property and fled. To that end, the case was reported and the authority of Denpasar Metro Police managed to catch the two suspects. Both suspects are now detained at detention cell of Denpasar Metro Police. (kmb21)
