cott Morgan sees himself as the better pick for Kansas secretary of state than incumbent Kris Kobach for several reasons – one of them being that Kobach doesn’t seem that interested in the position, according to Morgan. “Let me make this clear: he does not want to be secretary of state,” Morgan said recently on the KCUR-FM radio program “Up to Date.” As proof, the challenger cited Kobach’s work around the nation crafting voter ID legislation and laws targeting undocumented immigrants.
