FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK The month of October was full of festivities, Dussehra, Durga Puja & Bakrid being important festivals for one and all. To top it up there was Dandiyaa Raas being organized at various places in the city. People put on their dancing shoes, let their hair down and looked their ravishing best in their Dandiyaa ensemble. Dussehra and Durga Puja, of course meant fasting and praying and I hope you made the most of this festive month. November ushers in the winters and of course, one of our favorite festivals, Diwali. Diwali apart from having loads of sweets, chilling with friends and relatives and bursting crackers also has a spiritual context. It simply means that may God take us from the darkness of unawareness to the light of knowledge and understanding. So, now all of you know why we light diyas on Diwali? You will be delighted to see our special section on Diwali. We see how some of cities people celebrate Diwali. Our cover story reveals the young and talented jewellery designer, Moni Agarwal. An art lover and now a designer, she sure has a long way to go in the designing industry. All I can say is “Get Bejeweled with Moni Agarwal”. I am sure even you will appreciate this young designer. In our special bonding section, see the new age love between Neha and Jitender Gandhi. “Love on the Go” will leave you thinking and eventually you will feel how important it is to say those 3 important words even though you are on the go most of the times. In our section, a day from the diary, we have the very stunning, Amulya Reddy. A politicians daughter, a schools principle, a loving mom, and now, a budding social worker, she tells us about what she wants from life and how she manages to perform these roles with finesse and of course, lots of style. In our section Nuptials, we feature wedding jewellery for every bride to be. Different kinds of jewellery the new age brides can sport and exude confidence and style are all featured here. Tinsel town will give you a glimpse into the birthdays and star events that happened in the city during October. Take a sneak peek into this section to find out if you are one of the faces our camera man caught. Gadgets and automobiles section gives you a glimpse into what’s new in these markets and how good it is for you as a buyer, the virtues and vices. I hope you enjoy this issue as much as you have enjoyed the previous ones. Do write to us if you want to give feedback or if you just want to say Hi! On behalf of the entire Tulip family, I wish all our esteemed readers a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali!

Every bride wants to look her gorgeous best on her wedding day! She leaves no stone unturned to look drop dead gorgeous on her “D” day. After all, a wedding is an affair that calls for celebration, coming-together of people and of course pictures that make for lifetime memories for the couple. Simple beauty tips can assure an appearance worthy of many compliments and pictures you will treasure for the rest of your life. You have met the man of your dreams, fallen in love with him and even got the marriage date fixed. And now, you are eagerly waiting for the day of your union, when the two of you would become each other’s, forever. In the meantime, you have started with the preparations, right from choosing the venue to selecting the bridal dress. Now, have you given any thought to the D-day makeup as well? Too much make-up can make you look garish and too less will make you look like a plain Jane. However, there is a way to strike a balance between the two by choosing for natural make-up for your wedding. This look is minimal and will make you look simple yet stunning. Read on to get that look. Sumant Raj Arigela is a makeup artist and hairstylist at Haven Spa and Salon. “It’s been a journey which has taught me a lot. My humble beginning has helped me to grow as a human being. The people instrumental in making this story successfully are my parents, family members and my teacher Mr. Ashwin Shelar from Mumbai. A lot of practical and theoretical knowledge was gained under him. I got a chance to work with reputed models, actors and celebrities.” Eyes Avoid any harsh lines or too much eye liner and Kajal. Your eyes can be lined according to the color of dress you will be wearing. Opt for black, grey or even brown and make sure to smoothen it out. The eye shadow is best used according to your dress and your skin

tone. Warm tones like copper, chestnut brown, peaches, pink browns, etc. work the best. Avoid greens, blues or garish pinks and violets. Use generous doses of mascara to add volume to your eyes.

Lips

Exfoliate with a soft toothbrush and Vaseline. Avoid applying foundation on the lips as they get damaged. Use some moisturizer on and around the lips and then apply a warm tone of lipstick, mostly in browns, red browns or light pinks. For the pout, dab a hint of lip gloss on the center of your lips and press them together so that it spreads. Never apply the lip gloss all over the lips and don’t line your lips with a harsh lip pencil. It will look as though someone drew it on your face.

Cheeks

More than your cheeks, it is the cheek bone that needs to be accentuated. Instead of shimmery blush, go for a matt look. These days, you even get liquid blush that can be applied in an upward motion starting from the apple of the cheeks to the high end of the cheek bone. It is then blended softly with finger tips. Avoid bright pinks or dark browns and stick with pale bronze or copper for a dusky complexion and pale pinks for fairer complexions.

Makeup Tips for Brides

First, wash your face properly. Use a light moisturizer to smoothen your skin. Select a concealer of a lighter color, and apply it over the shadow areas of the face around the eyes and nose. Then, gently apply an oil free foundation and blend it all over the face and under the neck. Try and choose a color tone which is slightly lighter than your skin tone but never go for white. Matte foundation is best suited for Indian skin tone as it gives a natural effect. To get rid of blemishes, touch up your face with a concealer. Apply translucent powder and spread evenly all over the face to get the matte effect. Proper make up should be applied to the forehead, nose and chin. Eye makeup is very important, so proper care should be taken for eye make-up. Use a brown tone eye shadow for softness and white makeup to lift. Use a thin line of white eyeliner on the eyelid, to highlight the eyes. Finish the line with black eyeliner and add a little black eye shadow under the eye. To highlight your lashes, use black mascara. To have a detailed look brush eyebrows and apply a brown eyebrow pencil. Use a good quality lipstick, which will last. The color of your lipstick should match your dress.

WELLBEING

Want a trimmer and leggier look? A more flexible body? Then stretching is something you must try. Stretching helps you develop and maintain a healthy flexibility. It helps you loosen your muscles. A regular stretching program can help you to maintain your range of motion and also make your daily living activities easier. Stretching doesn’t demand huge time or commitment but gives you huge results. Tulip meets up with Pallavi Domadiya of Workouts Gym, who shows us some great stretches to keep you fit and active and help you get the toned look. Glut stretch This stretch is done for the gluteus area. You are required to hold on to a stationary object. While balancing on your left leg, keep your right leg in a cross legged position. Hold it for 5 counts and repeat it thrice for each leg. This helps strengthen your glut area and butt muscle.

Back strengtheningLie on your stomach, hands alongside your torso and palms up. Exhale and bend your knees, bringing your heels as close as you can to your buttocks. Reach back with your hands and take hold of your ankles. Hold for 5 counts and repeat thrice. This helps in strengthening your lower back and tail bone. Later on with practice also releases lower back pain. Thigh stretch Standing on one leg, grasp the foot of the other leg. Keep your knees pointing down. Pull up with light pressure. Hold for 8-10 counts and then switch your foot. This helps to strengthen the thighs and is a must for a lower body workout.

Calf Stretch Stand facing a wall, Keep back, knees straight, with the heel pressed to the floor. Push your hips forward, while pressing your back heel to the ground. Hold the stretch for 8 to 10 counts. Repeat with both legs. This works great on the calf muscles and helps strengthen them. 18 NOVEMBER, 2012

Chest Stretch Stand up straight, with knees slightly bent. Place feet hip distance apart. Keep shoulders even as you complete this stretch. Place arms behind your back. Clasp your hands together, extending your arms behind your back and hold this position. Feel the stretch in your chest. Hold this for 8- 10 counts. This stretch helps in strengthening your pectoral muscle.

Hamstring StretchLie on your back, bend your knee, and keep your feet close to your buttock, raise one leg to a ninety degree angle and bend it further ahead and try and touch your toe. Hold for 5 counts and repeat twice with each leg. This helps in strengthening your quadriceps, hamstring, and gluteus and calves it a complete lower body work out. Hold for 10 counts and repeat three times. This works great on the inner thigh which is often ignored and helps to strengthen the lower thigh muscle.

Lower back, calf and Quadriceps stretch Sit on the ground and split your legs as far as they can go. LIFESTYLE I am a total fitness freak. I am a regular at 360 degrees fitness gym at Jubilee Hills. My trainers, Kuldep Sethi and Rajesh, train me well and are great motivators. Exercising keeps me fit and calm. It keeps my nervous energy down and I can stay calm and composed throughout the day. I also follow a diet in order to stay in shape. I love kickboxing and working out on weights. After a good 1 hour work out session I get ready to go to school.

I am a morning person. I wake up at 6 and the first thing that I do is to fold my hands in front of Sai Baba and intercede to help me through the day without any hitches. After that, I wake up my son, Akaash and get him ready for school. I prepare his lunch. After which I hit the gym around 7:30. I pack my bags and head towards my gym around 7.30 AM. I reach school by 9.30 AM. I take care of the accounts and finance part of Meridian Kids, Jubilee Hills. Luckily, I have a really responsible centre coordinator Mrs. Anita Jetley, she takes care of the school very well. I interact with kids, play with them and answer their little questions about life. It is so relaxing to be with them. They are innocent and sweet and there is so much that one can learn from them.

I wind up at the school by 1:30 and hit home. By 3 PM, my son is home and we both have lunch together. It is pure bonding time. I teach him. I play with him. I fight with him over chocolates. This reminds me of my childhood days as a kid in Hyderabad Public School. Childhood days are the best days in one’s life as you are innocent and carefree. I am really close to my son. He is like my best friend and my worst critique. He gives me advice over a lot of issues. He tells me what is right and what is wrong. I share a very special bond with him. Even though he is just a kid aged 10, he is mature and understanding. He makes my life fulfilling and complete. Without him, life would not be what it is.

I go for yoga at 6 PM. Apart from keeping myself healthy and fit; yoga relaxes me and gives me peace of mind. It helps me in concentrating and keeping things in perspective. It’s a great thing if you want to connect to your inner self and I think everyone should do it. I am a true feminist. We as women are endowed with more physical as well as mental energy than men. Our body can endure something as painful as child birth and also we don’t break down as easily as men do. We should make the most of this energy and use it for constructive purposes. I believe every woman should be independent as it gives you a sense of confidence and the will power and understanding to believe that whatever would be the circumstances I would be able to survive. Since, I believe in women empowerment so much, I work for the upliftment of women in my father’s (Sri Erasu Prathap Reddy, Minister of Law and Courts, AP) constituency, Srisailam. I am not claiming huge numbers but even if I can help one woman I think my work will be successful. Later, I have a breast cancer awareness project on my mind too. 22 NOVEMBER, 2012

An Extension of Ourselves

Every Human being has a unique chemistry of his own body, choices, preferences, tastes, likes & dislikes and so is the level of comfort depending upon the specific type of Interior Decoration that one cherishes. It is a pure Art to know yourself, identify your needs closely and then make up a surrounding of your own kind which is as unique as we are. Very few of us are born with the talent to recognize the need of ambience that suits us the best. In other cases, we require Professionals and Experts to identify this need of ours. They discover ones style of life, day to day routine & the living habits and accordingly arrange an interior that is most compatible for us. This exactly defines Mr. Pavan Suryadevara. An architect by profession, Pavan is also the associate director of Clark Lloyd International. Clark Lloyd International is a Design, Planning and Regeneration Consultancy, with wide ranging skill and experience in all aspects of the built environment and its interface with the natural landscape. Prior to starting his own venture, Clark Lloyd, Pavan has an educational background which wreaks elitism. He graduated from the University of Madras with a degree in B. Arch and went on to do his M. Arch from the prestigious University of East London. “My father 24 NOVEMBER, 2012

is my role model; he is in the construction business, so architecture is in my blood. That’s how I decided to pursue architecture,” says a passionate Pavan. Pavan apart from his passion for architecture, loves exploring art. “I always wanted to be an Architect. But, designing compact spaces at the start of my career got me into interior designing. I love using natural materials & Art. I believe these are part of Architecture and this successfully added interior designing into my career. My works are purely conceptual & properly reasoned.” On asking about his first project, Pavan

About his journey so far in the architectural world, he has the following to say, “My Journey so far has been Aggressive. I was lucky in getting what I aimed for as a designer. I have had a good clientele so far, who were very cooperative and who appreciated creativity. My career started in London in 2001 & in 2007 from Hyderabad. I have never looked back since then. Experience, commitment & Attention to detail are the key “fundas” for a good designer. Personally I feel, the interiors should be clean & they should feel good to touch, unobstructed to movement, uncomplicated to usage & living and there should be peace in the ambience.” An adventure sports fanatic, Pavan also loves, travelling, spending time with his family and friends and having a good time. His funda for life is “live and let live”.

reminisces, “My first project was a house of a politician. It was a 6500 sft house in Hyderabad. I was responsible to design and build it. It was a huge responsibility and I wanted to give it my best shot. It took me 3 months to design & set up the team to build it. I took suggestions from the family as to their likes and dislikes, I found out more about their lifestyle, I tried to get everything they had in their mind onto the design, to something that is practically possible and feasible, in other words I tried to convert their dream home into a reality. A home is a place which reflects ones individuality, so I designed a customized personal space for them. I am happy that we did a good job. We handed over the house in 15 months. My first project received a lot of appreciation from my client and this

boosted my confidence. From then on, we have made it a habit to design & built. It was a contemporary house with minimalistic detail in every aspect of use. The initial meetings with the clients before the work started were 18. The meetings at the work progress were 6.” Talking about his current projects, he says “We work on multiple residential, commercial & master planning projects. My clients are largely corporate, Andhra Pradesh government & Bio Diversity board. 50% of the projects that I do are based on sustainable Development so that it causes minimum harm to the environment. We have our presence in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vijayawada and Vizag.” He also elaborates on his future projects. “My future works will be large scale NOVEMBER, 2012 25

Art for a Splash of Colour

Bored with your mundane decor? Looking for a change? Just moved into your new house and even though the walls are painted and the furniture is placed, you still notice that something is missing. Spruce your space by bringing in a piece of art. Your home reflects your personality; it is a place where you seek comfort and warmth. It reflects your state of mind and everyone wants to come home to a beautiful space. Most of the beautiful homes are characterized by a unique art collection. Empty walls give the illusion that a home is empty and barely occupied, so why not add some color and style by investing in some art work. Elegant and intricate accessories have always added a subtle charm to your home. Paintings play a vital role in spreading positivity in the atmosphere; they bring home vibrancy and vivacity, whether contemporary or traditional, modern or abstract, they add in a beauty of their own in your living space. Elegance is not always the key to a beautiful home; sometimes a spunk or bright and bold colours, or a bold and modern art can add a fresh touch to your interiors. Selecting and appreciating art by itself is an art; you will definitely have to invest in some time to select the perfect piece of art for your abode. There are also some aspects one must consider while buying a painting. The most important aspect to take into consideration is the amount of wall space that you have. The 26 NOVEMBER, JULY, 2012 2012

ideal place for paintings is a living room but you may want to add some in your bedroom as well. Depending on the amount of space available, choose a painting. You don’t want one that overshadows the entire wall, nor do you want very tiny ones. Either choose one big piece or a couple of small ones that are part of the same series and go together. One must always keep in mind that art is quite personal. So, don’t just select a piece because it goes with the color of your window curtains. Choose something that gives a meaning to your life, that adds inspiration and focus to your life. Try to look at it as something that you will keep with you for years. You want to select pieces that you will love and your close ones will appreciate.

You must also keep in mind the decor of your home, if you have a contemporary or modern home, select something that matches it. If you want to make art the center of attraction, go easy on the other elements in the room like carpeting, wall covering, and furniture. A room too crowded with different objects, bold colors will take away the sheen from your artwork. So, keep this in mind while putting up an art work. A piece of art will always be appreciated if a good amount of time is invested in selecting it. Add in some drama, romance and adventure on your walls; brighten them up with a smart choice of art that reflects your style and personality. Splash the walls of your home with color by bringing in a piece of art!

“In Hyderabad, people prefer buying contemporary art. This is because this kind of art is seen as fresh and creative and relates more to the global market. Contemporary paintings always have been representing universality and creativity. These paintings in no way hurt or support any religion or person. Abstract contemporary art paintings are most salable art works now in Hyderabad, especially among the clients with modern outlook to the world.” Sudhakanth Vadla, Artist Contact No: 9440966880, 9052756587 “According to FengShui everything has energy, placing the right object in the right direction and position can bring in positivity to your home and atmosphere. A Buddha painting is considered as an element of fire and is filled with positive energy which intensifies good fortune and brings fame and respect. Similarly, a bamboo painting brings luck, health and longevity. A painting of horses in the living room represents speedy arrival of good fortune. A Lotus flower painting symbolizes life and manifests a healthy lifestyle.” - Chetna Parekh, Tarot card reader and FengShui Expert. Contact: 09391161312

Inspiration to an artist is just like “a man with the hope to see another day in his life”. I basically get inspired from all colors of life – nature, emotions, mythological figures, dreams, music etc. A good painting around the wall of your house would surely add plenty of elegance and beauty to your home. A painting on a wall breaks the monotony and enhances the beauty of the house. Having a good painting around will surely lift up the atmosphere as well as the spirit of the person. iwali is our very own festival of lights and celebration. It is one of the most important festivals for Hindus and is celebrated in families in a traditional way. Diwali signifies the welcome of Ram in his kingdom after his fourteen year exile in the forest. Legend says that the “Ayodhyavasi’s” lighted oil filled lamps to welcome him in his kingdom. They cleaned their houses and streets to welcome their king. That is why, to this date, we clean our houses, light lamps to commemorate this great event in the Hindu history. Also, it is a day when Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity is worshipped. It is said that, on this day Goddess Lakshmi visits each house and decides whether she should reside in any house or leave it. Firecrackers are burst in order to drive away evil spirits. During Diwali, all the celebrants wear new clothes and share sweets and snacks with family members and friends. While Diwali involves a lot of celebration, it has a spiritual significance too. dent reality. The festival starts with Dhanteras on which most Indian business communities begin their financial year. The second day of the festival, Naraka Chaturdasi, marks the vanquishing of the demon Naraka by Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama. Amavasya, the third day of Diwali, marks the worship of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth in her most benevolent mood, fulfilling the wishes of her devotees.

The celebration of Diwali as the “victory of good over evil” refers to the light of higher knowledge dispelling all ignorance, the ignorance that masks one’s true nature, not as the body, but as the unchanging, infinite, immanent and transcendent reality.

The fifth day is referred to as Yama Dvitiya (also called Bhai Dooj), and on this day sisters invite their brothers to their homes. Different states in the country have different ways of celebrating Diwali. While in Gujarat, the festival starts earlier than the rest of the country, in Tamil Nadu, Kerela and Karnataka people celebrate Diwali to commemorate the killing of the demon Narakasura at the hands of lord Krishna. In Maharashtra, the first day is celebrated by performing an Aarti of the cow and its calf, which is a symbol of love between mother and her baby. To add to the festivities of Diwali, fairs or ‘melas’ are held throughout India. Melas are to be found in many towns and villages. Girls and women dress attractively during the festival. They wear colourful clothing and new jewellery, and their hands are decorated with henna designs. Among the many activities that take place at a mela are performances by jugglers, acrobats, snake charmers and fortune tellers. Food stalls are set up, selling sweet and spicy foods. There are a variety of rides at the fair, which include Ferris wheels and rides on animals such as elephants and camels. Activities for children, such as puppet shows, occur throughout

The Raja Deen Dayal & sons, who have been in Hyderabad for the last 130 years, are his ancestors. His great grandfather - Lala Deen Dayal was the pioneer of photography in India.

Diwali is one of their favorite and most awaited festivals of the year. There’s always a long list of preparations to do for this festival. It’s a festival for full three days, which consequently are dhanteras, choti diwali and the badi diwali. The house entrances are made colorful with motifs of rangoli designs to welcome Laxmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Firecrackers are bought. Shopping for new clothes is done. And, the house is usually white washed. Diwali day is the most hectic and exciting day among all the three days for this family. It starts early in the morning by going to the temple to offer prayers, then with a puja that is performed at their home and ends by noon, friends and relatives come during the day to greet them. And, by the end of the day, in the evening, is the main big Laxmi puja, performed after it gets dark, the night ends with the burning of crackers which is a favorite among all children. Playing cards on diwali day is also believed to be a tradition. Shopping is always a must in this festival for them. It is a tradition to exchange gifts and sweets with your friends and relatives. It is said that on Dhanteras one should buy some kind of jewelry or gold or silver coins because it brings good luck and prosperity, and they religiously follow it. Sandeep says, “Diwali is a chance for families to unite and celebrate together. One ends up being very spiritual these three days, since you feel the positive festive energy around you. After all the hustle and bustle, everyone looks colorful and best in there attires. We, like all Jains, believe that lord Mahavir attained “Nirvana” on this day so it’s like having two celebrations on the same day.” “The exciting part about diwali is the deco-

rated house with lights, diya’s and flowers. And, of course, the burning of crackers that brings a smile to any age group. Though, I am not a big fan of loud crackers, which Sandeep and Tanishq love. Tavishi, Tanisha and me are happy to enjoy the phooljadi and zameen chakra,” adds Madhu.

Diwali is a chance for families to unite and celebrate together. “Childhood memories are always such a treasure and they are still so alive. I still remember

my dad taking us to “The Secunderabad Club” for the diwali “Mela” which I and my siblings used to look forward to. They have various kinds of games and rides. The best part about this is the cracker show. Some of my friends, my girls and me still go to have a pick at the lucky dip to reminisce the good old days, even if it’s a pencil box I still come out happy. I know its kiddish but old habits die hard,” says a lost in thought Madhu. “This year for diwali we have planned to have a family reunion as always and have few friends coming over to bond and share the festive fun and frolic. My wife Madhu has also planned to prepare some traditional sweets at home for a change,” says a happy Sandeep. SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER, 2012 31

The Diwali preparations as usual, starts long back; the cleaning of the house, the white washing, buying new traditional clothes for everyone in the family, jewellery, new plants for the garden and buying beautiful décor stuff for the house. This is done to welcome Goddess Laxmi in the house and to pray to her to keep blessing the family with happiness and contentment. “Ours is a very spiritual family and we believe in Thakur ji a lot. Since, we all really believe in God, we have a temple in our house at Charminar. It’s an old temple and ours is the 4th generation which will be praying in the temple. Apart from Diwali being a time to celebrate and meet up with relatives, Diwali has a spiritual context for all of us too. We pray to God to take us from darkness to the light of knowledge as that’s the key to our liberation. But, before that, I want to get some experience and I want to establish myself as a brand.” She sure is a visionary with a dream to follow and you can easily make out that she has the willingness and the passion required to succeed. She enthusiastically tells me about her latest collection for dussehra and diwali. “I specialize in diamonds and mostly design grand jewellery. Since, the wedding and festival season is on the outset, I have designs for the bride to be too. My upcoming collection will be for Christmas and I also have a fashion show for the same in Bangalore during that time. The designs will be contemporary, sleek and elegant. Farah Khan and Neelam Kothari are my role models; I really look up to them for my work.” The dynamic and cheerful girl signs off by saying, “My mother is my greatest inspiration and my worst critique. She critiques my work and pushes me to do better every time. I am what I am because of her efforts.”

She is shy at the start but when she opens up, she laughs with you throughout the conversation.

Jewelry Affaire Wedding jewelry and Bridal jewelry is an important aspect in any Indian women’s life. Be it a Necklace set, or a Pendant set, Bangles, Rings, Bracelets or Earrings, jewelry is a very important part of Indian wedding. Jewelry can be of gold, silver, diamond or platinum depending on your budget and taste.

Wedding

I

ndians have been using jewelry for adornment for centuries. The significance of jewelry in the country is evident from the fact that on many auspicious occasions, jewelry forms a part of the gift. Though, the trend of men adoring themselves has now faded away, many of them still use earrings, bracelets, pendants, etc. However, it is the Indian women for whom jewelry holds utmost significance. In India, jewelry is considered auspicious for women. During Indian weddings jewelry is essential. Brides will not be complete without wearing the different jewelry pieces that are conventional. Most of the time Indian brides will be seen wearing gold yellow jewelry. But there are some cases where she will select pieces of jewelry made from platinum, silver, diamond, or white gold. Emerald, jade, amethyst, garnet, pearl and ruby are some of the common precious stones in Indian bridal jewelry. One

could see some modification in bridal jewelry across regions in India. The common pieces will remain steady. Jewelry design is so versatile in India that it varies from state to state. If some jewelry is so much popular in one state, it might not necessarily be popular in another. However, some basic jewelry is common among all the women across India. Bridal jewelry like maang tika, earrings, nose rings, necklace, mangal sutra, bangles, etc. make up basic jewelry which adorns women in India. Incidentally, even today, gold is the metal most widely used for bridal ornaments and over the last decade, these are increasingly being studded with diamonds. Jewelry can be of different styles depending on the occasion. For pre wedding functions like sangeet, mehendi and engagement you can opt for simple and light jewelry. Go for a gold chain with pendants and earrings in

gold, silver and white gold studded with diamonds, precious stones and semi-precious stones. Heavy jewelry is worn on the main wedding day. The bride is adorned with jewelry from head to toe. Nowadays, people are opting for fashion jewelry matching with their outfit. People are also customizing their wedding jewelry. For example, if you are wearing a red color saree or lehenga then you can wear a gold set with red semi precious on it. Every country has its own bridal trends. Among these countries Indian is the most glamorous one. Most European brides prefer personalized look. Some follow fashion introduced by popular designers and sometimes choose custom pieces. In many wedding bridal jewelry, the theme is traditional and simple. Pearls and diamond are among the timeless selection and many brides can pick pieces that include those gemstones.

Love On The Go!

hese are chaotic times when hardly any one of us has the time to do anything. We are on the go mostly. We have chores to do, a family to take care of and business to do. However, we as human beings need to realize that we need to take out time for our loved ones, even though it’s just about saying those 3 beautiful words, “I love you!” Time and again, we need to remind ourselves that it is the beautiful people in our lives that make life worth living. For our couple, Jitender and Neha, love is really on the go! With “Love you’s” and “muahhh’s” being exchanged on BBM, this couple makes sure to catch up, whichever way possible!

T

It is widely recognized and accepted that marriages are made in heaven. “Someone somewhere is made for you”, is something that we have learned from our Bollywood movies. We all wait for our special someone’s to come by and lift us from our sorrows (Life looks like a burden of sorrows without them, isn’t it?) into a world which is full of love and compassion. And, the moment they come by, life changes 44 NOVEMBER, 2012

and we really are on a roll. All beautiful things start happening to us and we start liking everything; those things that we considered a pain are now more acceptable to us. Life changes, it really does!

“My first glance fell on your heart”

So, our girl, Neha Gandhi is a rock star in every sense. She looks like a million bucks. She has an excellent figure even though she is a mother of two cuddly kids, Neel and Ansh Gandhi. She dresses up like a true diva. She juggles between handling her cute kids and other household responsibilities. Also, she is dedicated enough to complete her education; she is pursuing her masters in psychology

now. I respect her for her dedication and multi tasking abilities, phew!! She is a real woman. Period! She loves dressing up well. She loves shopping. She loves hanging around with friends. She has dreams and believes in fairy tales. She loves music and shares the same interest with her husband Jeetu. They love sharing their favorite music on the BBM. Jeetu is a silent guy. Reserved, calm and composed, that’s what he is. He takes time to open up with people and befriends people he really feels are trust worthy. He is practical and grounded; he takes decisions from his mind. He enjoys spending time with his family. He loves playing cricket with his young boys. And last but not the least, he loves his work. Every man loves it and every woman detests this, but this is a fact. Men love their work. So, here was a young bomb shell, all ready to rock the men of her clan. And, there was this shy and simple guy, waiting for some beautiful girl to sweep him off his feet. An unlikely combo, aren’t they? I wonder. But, when I look deeper, I realize that it’s the most unlike people that get attracted to each other and decide to live for eternity. It’s the differences that get them close. One tries to complement and complete the other. So, the picture together looks perfect. Jeetu is the man in the relationship. So, every time Neha needs to rant or has a problem, her husband is her one stop solution to her if’s and buts’. She knows where she can find solace. Jeetu is a real sweet heart to his wife; he just cannot see her wife in tears. “She is too emotional at times. I can’t see her that way. I make up for all the fights and try to keep her as happy as can be,” he says. Neha adds, “He is a little short tempered at times. I feel bad but he makes up for it in a great way, so I am fine

again.” She smiles. Neha, like a true lover and wife, wishes from her heart that Jeetu might not work so hard and take out a little more time for her. So, Jeetu makes up by taking her for holidays. They recently holidayed in Goa with friends, the couple minus the kids. The couple enjoyed to the fullest and had a ball of a time. They did lots of things, hung out together and spent quality time with each other. There time of sweet nothings and mushiness just got revisited. They really look forward to such holidays and love to go to places like Macau.

“Whatever our souls are made up, his and mine are the same” So, I ask my beautiful couple Neha and Jitender about their marriage. “I knew her from quite some time till the proposal of marriage came from her side. Our fathers are good friends and we used to meet in parties. I loved the way she carried herself. She looked like a dream, mesmerizing and really pleasing to my eyes. We never really talked much back then, we were just acquaintances, the “hi, hello!!” kinds. But, I could just not take my eyes off her and I really liked her. Later, when the proposal for marriage came, I was really excited as I already liked her. Formally, I met her for the first time in a hotel. The moment I saw her, my heart leapt and reconfirmed that she was the one for me,” says Jeetu.

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

TULIP

KINSHIP

Let me brief you a little about their marriage. These guys had an arranged marriage way back in 2004. Since then, they have been going strong. Even though they had an arranged marriage, something that the current generation would not believe in, these guys make us believe in the fact that even arranged marriages are high on the “love and romance” quotient. They reminisce their courtship period to be the best time in their lives. They got to know each other well. They officially dated each other and had a good time together. “We went for long drives and ice cream outings. We frequented pubs and we had a really great time together,” says Jeetu all lost in thought. “Even though we don’t have time, we continuously chat on BBM; Our love is strong. Those periods of murmuring mushy things and sweet nothings to each other has never gone, we are and we will continue to express our love to each other,” says Neha all starry eyed and happy. So, here’s the new generation love. Love on the go. It’s not always necessary to be with each other or go for long drives or may be do difficult and crazy things that people in love do. In fact, our crazy schedules don’t allow us that luxury. Love is simple and expressing it in simple ways can ignite the spark in your life too.

“Two souls with but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one.”

Rapid Fire Your idea of a perfect date Neha – A room under the water and a candle light dinner. Jeetu – A nice candle lit dinner. Greatest joint possession – Our sons, Neel and Ansh. One thing that you like about each other Neha – He is very loving and caring. Jeetu – She takes care of my kids and family very well. Ideal holiday location Jeetu – Macau Neha – Switzerland One thing that you don’t like about each other Neha – He is a workaholic and is short tempered. Jeetu – She is very sentimental. The last holiday you took We went to Goa. Who makes up after the fights? Neha – He is the one. Jeetu – Depends, if the fault is mine then I owe up otherwise even she makes up. NOVEMBER, 2012 45

DRIVE THE GREEN WAY

Green is the new way to drive. Only, if you can afford to drill a hole in your pocket big way! We researched, we sorted and we have for you 3 different green cars, let’s get this started. Oh, it rhymed!

Cheverolet Volt

This is not an electric car, this one’s a beast and can make some of the car brands run for their money. The all new hybrid Chevrolet Volt is four passenger, 4-door hatchback designed electric vehicle and has got much advanced features than other hybrids in India that makes it much ahead, smooth and fast. Like in most of the hybrid gasoline engine and motor car used to provide the power to wheels, while here in Chevrolet Volt wheels are operated by electricity produced by onboard battery or gasoline engine. This can be charged in just 8 hours in the normal volt condition of 120 and if you have installed a 240v outlet it will end up with full charge in a short span of 3 hours. The all new Chevrolet Volt is expected to come out in the market with 1.4 litr, 4-cylinder engine that means a competent fuel storage capacious being a compact car. The all new volt carries a great driving safety, it is been promoted with almost all the required safety features that should be in a car, like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is applied in the car to prevent the wheels from locking up , traction control system to avoid slippery condition, anti-skid system that helps wheels to control in skidding condition while applying brakes for long and air bags for both curtain and front side. Chevrolet Volt is going to be a four passenger, five door and a much stylish vehicle, capturing a lot of advance features like an all new on star mobile application by which current electric range, fuel efficiency, charge level and measurement, locking and unlocking the door can be controlled and done through your smart phone only. So, the most awaited Chevrolet Volt dimensions are designed after a long aerodynamic research, so the looks of both interior and exterior are going to be awesome, it has a low sloping roof-line, a high belt-line, aggressive window shape, winking headlights along with few conventional features from ex cars of Chevrolet that makes the all new Chevrolet Volt a great choice for high payers. Though, you will have to spend a bomb to get this one into your garage (around 35 lac), this one’s a good investment in the long run.

Nissan Leaf

Only green hatchback that we thought would fit on our green car list. The Nissan Leaf is the first modern battery electric car to go on sale in the U.S. First delivered in December 2010, the Leaf is one of just a handful of plug-in cars sold in volume-and Nissan has big plans for this compact five-door electric hatchback. It competes with a number of other plug-in vehicles, both “pure” battery electrics--including the Mitsubishi ‘i’ minicar and the compact four-door Coda Sedan--and a couple of others with both plugs and gasoline engines, including the Chevrolet Volt and Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid. 46 NOVEMBER, 2012

TULIP

The Nissan Leaf uses a 24-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack built into the car’s floorpan to power an 80-kilowatt (107-horsepower) electric motor driving the front wheels. The EPA rates its electric range as 73 miles, though owners say range can vary from 65 to 100 miles depending on speed, temperature, and how much they use the car’s heating in cold weather. Well turn into a new leaf as this green kid of hatchbacks is arriving by the end of this year or early next year. Are you waiting? Well hold on, till the time we tell you about the next one.

Toyota Prius

Next one that comes on our list is the most famous car, famously called as the Hollywood’s most likeable car model. Presenting the TOYOTA PRIUS. Won’t tell you much on this one, as this one’s already a famous car model. Will quickly run through why this is the best green car till date. Toyota Prius is powered by a petrol engine and an electric motor. In India, the company has launched the car with two interior trim options. These are Toyota Prius Z3 and Toyota Prius Z4. The Toyota Prius Z3 comes with fabric seat material and without seat heater while the Toyota Prius Z4 is equipped with leather seat material and seat heater. Toyota Prius is loaded with 1.8 litre 2ZR-FXE petrol engine with a displacement of 1798cc. The engine also houses 4 cylinder, In line Twin Cam, 16 valve with VVT-i. The 1.8L engine is powerful enough to pump 73 kw of peak power at 5,200 rpm and churns 142 Nm of maximum torque at 4,000 rpm. Apart from this strong and powerful powertrain, Toyota Prius is fitted with an 650 V electric motor which is permanent magnet type. The electric motor can produce 60 kw of maximum power and 207 Nm of peak torque figures. Whereas the battery type is Sealed Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal hydride). The capacity of the battery is Ah 6.5 (2h). The combined maximum power output from both engine and motor is 100 kw. To ensure optimum use of petrol engine and electric motor, the company has used its much popular Hybrid Synergy Drive technology. The technology is comprised of petrol engine and electric motor. This allows the driver to choose from three driving modes. The technology promises amazing fuel economy, the lowest exhaust emissions, silky-smooth performance and fastest acceleration. We don’t call Toyota as the best car brand in the world, there is a reason. Do we give you more reasons after you read about the prius? But, with so many good things about the green cars, we do have a setback.

LATEST GIZMOS Nexus 7 By now, I am sure all of you have those butter fingers well rehearsed while playing your favorite game on the ipads, tablets etc. And, for putting your hands into butter you would have spent a bomb, din’t you? Well, if yes, then its time to throw away the old boring expensive tablet or probably exchange your swanky and pricey tablet for the new Google Nexus 7 tablet. Nexus 7 has the best android ever, the jelly bean 4.1 with expandable memory and being a 7 inch toy, very portable to use too. Coupled with the Tegra 3 processor and additional headroom afforded by 1GB of RAM, the Google Nexus 7 makes a great initial showcase for Jelly Bean. Swiping through screens is fast and responsive – even on apps that haven’t yet been updated for 4.1 – while flipping through one of the visually rich magazines now available from Google Play doesn’t miss a beat. Ridiculous name aside, Project Butter delivers the goods. And, with a 1.2 mp front facing camera it eases you to make your skype calls.

Apple Ear Pods

Nokia Lumia 920

I can positively say that these are a vast improvement over Apple’s original ‘buds, whose sound is thin, tinny and harsh. We’ve given the Ear Pods a listen using the likes of laptops, various generations of the iPhone, an iPad 2 and even a Galaxy Nexus, all of which were able to drive them easily. The earphones have a smoother, fuller and more balanced sound, with improved emphasis on the bass and low mids. The most notable difference, however, is how much lower you’ll need to set the volume on your device. We found that we needed to raise the volume many clicks higher on the old ‘buds than on the Ear Pods to get equal sound output and at that point the older buds start to noticeably distort. So, the new design definitely ports the audio into your ears better, but it’s not to say the effect of a louder output at lower settings is the only improvement. Cranking the volume on our various devices, we genuinely noticed the Ear Pods maintained a much clearer signal in comparison to the older generation. For the price at which they are currently selling, I would say these ear buds would put your ears on fire.

We had given you the dosage of windows 8 in the previous month. We present to you now the best Smartphone that compliments windows 8. When we say compliment we aren’t whispering. We are shouting it aloud. This could be what I assume to be a game changer. Lumia 920 is new in every way, while most of the polycarbonate body remains unchanged, Nokia has improved the screen. The Lumia 920 gets a 4.5-inch Nokia Pure Motion + display, which features a WXGA resolution (1,280x768 pixels), a slightly higher resolution than the standard HD (1,280x720 pixels). It has a fast refresh rate that removes flickers. Nokia also claims it’s brighter than rival phones, but we’ll have to see about that. They switched from AMOLED to LCD technology in order to automatically increase the brightness to those high levels. The part of the screen that excites me the most is the screen’s new Clear Black display filter, which uses polarization to cut down on glare. Nokia says its new, improved Clear Black is good enough to read in the desert or on the beach. We’ll certainly have fun testing out this claim. And, the next big thing to happen to Smartphone’s is the preview technology. This phone has all it takes to be the best Smartphone ever. The previous technology makes our clicking experience so good that one would feel awe about their pictures.

BUNKING IS FUN SOMETIMES

CAMPUS BUZZ

You have a boring lecture today? Or the weather just doesn’t permit you to enter the class - The entire group decides to bunk the college today. College life is one of the most important phases of all our lives and bunking is a part of every college goers’ life. In your five years of college life you won’t remember the lectures or class timings, but you will always have the memories of the bunks and the time you spent with your friends, hanging out, chilling and having fun. Each one of us has very beautiful memories of bunks that we will always remember and cherish. “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. It’s always healthy to bunk once a while and to go out and have fun with friends. When love is in the air, movies in the theater and coffees in the coffee shops the colleges are for mere attendance. Tulip brings in some of the most memorable bunks college student shared with us. “My most memorable bunk was once when my friends and I decided to bunk school. We decided to keep our bags in the campus itself and jump the wall just for the thrill. Just when we were climbing half the wall we got caught and that too this was in the first period itself, our bunk was a huge flop. We got into lots of trouble that day, our phones were confiscated and we were made to sit in the principal’s office throughout the day and write an imposition on not bunking. So in the end we got to bunk all the classes, but just not in the way we hoped. That was the first and last time we attempted on bunking our classes, but all in all it was a fun experience, and now looking back, my friends and I always have a good laugh about it.” – Parth Kothari, Inter first year, Indus World School. “I feel it’s always fun to bunk once in a while; go out and have fun. During my degree days in St Francis College, we had our internals, and we bunked one of the internals just for the fun of pure bunking, forty five girls from the class bunked it. We had around 15 bikes with us and all the girls were geared up with our bikes. The first thing we usually do when we bunk is go for a movie and so forty five of us were actually in the theater and we saw to it that only our voices are audible. Later we all went to a coffee shop and it looked like we actually acquired the entire place because it was filled with only girls. It was the first time it happened that so many girls were out all together, throughout the day,

roaming on bikes. It was a very different and wonderful feeling all together.” – Roshni Ahuja, pursuing MBA from Badruka College. “As a fashion designing student, we do end up bunking quite a few classes, we try and attend all the practical classes and avoid all the boring theory classes like history, computers, marketing etc. One day my friends and I weren’t in the mood to attend classes at all, but we still forced ourselves to go to class. Luck was on our side and the teacher was running late for the class, I forced my friends to bunk, just when we were on the stairs the teacher started coming up, my friends and I covered our faces with scarves and ran for our lives. We went for a long drive, chatted on the road side and went to a coffee shop. Luckily we bunked that day because that day the teacher had given a sudden test. We were very happy we bunked and we all always laugh at the way we ran from the teacher by covering our faces with scarves”. – Tiya Gomase, Studying Fashion Designing at Hamstech Institute. College life is one of the most memorable times for a student and bunking is a part of college life. Every student has their own experience and memories of bunking and my bunking experience has been one of the most fun and exciting part of college. Doing the most unpredictable stuff, carefree attitude makes bunking so much fun because you have your friends with you and you don’t really care about what the world thinks. Watching one movie repeatedly in the theatre even though it’s the worst movie, but you still don’t care. Sowya Mishra, Student Villa Marie

EMILY MAYNARD AND

‘Envious’

H O L L Y W O O D

Jef Holm split up After much speculation, The Bachelorette’s ill-fated lovers Emily Maynard and Jef Holm finally split up. But despite days of playing coy on the status of their coupling, Emily wasted no time in proving just how single she now is, media has obtained the first shot of the newly unbetrothed Maynard stepping out without her engagement ring. Emily was showing no signs of the breakup blues when she was spotted on a fast-food run in Charlotte, N.C., looking stylish as ever wearing skinny jeans, a leather jacket, a cobalt blue top and black Ray-Ban aviator shades. And while she was minus her engagement ring, she did have one accessory to make up for it: a big old smile. The ring less sighting is just the latest confirmation (not like any more was needed) that the once-inseparable couple has gone their separate ways. Their joint announcement revealing the “difficult and heartbreaking decision” they’d come to, capped off a seemingly endless back-and-forth as to the state of their relationship. Initially, they denied reports that they’d broken up. However, the writing on the wall came into clearer focus this week, when Jef changed his Facebook status from “engaged” to “single” while, for her part, Emily tweeted a series of spirit-raising inspirational quotes. In any case, while we’re not sure what went wrong for the ex-lovebirds, we do know that looking good is the best revenge. Point, Emily.

Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William have made it clear that they are ready to start a family of their own, but so far, no luck, and now Kate’s close friend is pregnant, claims a new report. How bittersweet for Kate! Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s baby heartache has been revisited after Kate’s close friend and bodyguard, Emma Probert, revealed that at age 41, she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend. Kate definitely has some mixed feelings! According to a Magazine, Kate, 30, is said to be overjoyed and excited for her friend. Through the excitement, according to sources, she cannot help but feel a little envious. Sources claim Kate has been telling Emma, “You beat me to it.” Kate is not the only one eager to get pregnant. Queen Elizabeth is said to be anticipating the day she can make the announcement about a future heir to the throne. Though there was speculation during Kate and William’s diamond Jubilee tour to Southeast Asia that Kate was pregnant when she chose to drink water instead of wine. However, the couple returned to England with no good news to share. A royal insider claims, “Kate’s really feeling the pressure to produce the next heir to the throne.” As stress is known to affect fertility, Prince William, 30, is said to be trying to calm his wife’s nerves in their Anglesey, Wales cottage. Do you think we will be hearing a royal baby announcement anytime soon?

MEGAN FOX BLESSED with a Baby Boy Megan Fox is ready to introduce her new cub to the world! News reported that the Transformers star and hubby Brian Austin Green had welcomed a baby boy last month, the 26-year-old actress confirmed the news on Facebook, sharing with fans the couple’s joy as new parents. Not only that, she also revealed her little man’s beautiful name. “We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do,” she wrote on Facebook. “I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect.” She also gushed, “We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.” “Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes,” she added. “May God bless you and your families abundantly.” This is the first child for Fox and Green, who got hitched two years ago. (Green also has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.) Don’t expect them to stop here: Earlier this year, Fox told Cosmopolitan that she wants “at least two, probably three kids.” Brian, you’ve got your marching orders! Megan Fox is best known for her role in Transformers and, well, for being absolutely gorgeous. 50 NOVEMBER, 2012

Now he has expressed a desire to work in mythological multi starrers, which he feels will be very good for the industry. “Like in the old days, it would be nice if all the stars could come together to act in a mythological picture. He recently won the Special Jury award for his performance in ‘Rajanna’ for the 2011 Nandi awards. His latest movie, ‘Damarukam’, hit the screen in October worldwide and it is a fancy thriller. “The last 30 minutes is the life and soul of the whole movie. MESSI

S P O R T S

The best in the World: Brazil’s Lula Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has said that Argentina and Barcelona FC striker Lionel Messi is “the best one in the world”. In an interview in Buenos Aires daily “La Nacion”, Lula said he can’t imagine a “worse nightmare” than to see Argentina become the champion in Brazil in 2014, reports Xinhua. “Before we fought to know who was the best, if Maradona or Pele. And, of course, Pele was better. But today, there are no doubts: Messi is the best one in the world,” said Lula, who didn’t mention his fellow citizen Neymar, from Sao Paulo’s Santos FC, neither the Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo from Spain’s Real Madrid CF. Lula, a well-known fan of Sao Paulo’s Corinthians, joked twice during the interview about the possibility that the Argentineans would win the 2014 World Cup, which would be the third one after Argentina 1978 and Mexico 1986. “The only thing we don’t want, and that we won’t allow, is that Argentina tries to win the 2014 World Cup” and “we won’t let them raise the World Cup in Rio,” said Lula. Argentina is in the first position in the South American qualification series for Brazil 2014, with 20 points, followed by Ecuador (17), Colombia (16), Venezuela, Chile and Uruguay (12), Peru and Bolivia (8), and Paraguay (7).

SACHIN TENDULKAR

shouldn’t get Order of Australia: Matthew Hayden Upset at Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar getting the Order of Australia, former batsman Matthew Hayden said the honor should be “exclusive” to his countrymen. “Now, if Sachin was living in Australia, give him the Prime Minister’s gong I reckon -- but the reality of it is he’s living in India,” Hayden told a radio show. Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced the honor for Tendulkar during a recent visit to India. Hayden, who is also a former recipient of the title, said only Australians should be conferred with such awards as they are about national honor. “I think it should be exclusive to Australians, I’m not so sure. There are things that are sacred amongst our country,” Hayden said. “I kind of understand the point of the fact that he has been such an iconic figure here in Australia and there’s an enormous population of Indians that are working here and living here very happily and in harmony with Australia that have naturalized and I think that’s a great part of our country, how multi-cultural that we are,” he explained. Tendulkar is only the second Indian after former attorney general Soli Sorabjee to get the honor. 56 NOVEMBER, 2012

M O V I E S

Cast: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart

ENGLISH VINGLISH Sashi (Sridevi), a middle-aged Maharashtrian housewife who earns her own money by making sumptuous ladoos and selling them to the connoisseurs. A lot of women would identify with Sashi since she is one of those dedicated yet taken-for-granted homemakers who are ridiculed for their poor linguistic skills by their English speaking family. In the movie, Sashi finds herself being an object of constant potshots by her husband (Adil Hussain), who has little respect for her real talent and her 7th grade daughter who feels ashamed to even introduce her mother to her school folks. So when an underestimated and belittled Sashi flies off to New York to lend a helping hand at her niece’s wedding, she smartly grabs the opportunity to enroll herself into English speaking classes that promise to teach the language within a period of flat four weeks.

AIYYAA The movie is a ‘fairy tale’ of a middle-class Maharashtrian girl called Meenakshi (Rani Mukerji) who yearned to be an actress but eventually settled down with a job in an art college. Meenakshi is melodramatic and a dreamer who escapes into her fantasy land anytime and anywhere. Things take a turn in Meenakshi’s life when she meets Surya (Prithviraj Sukumaran), a student at the art college and she falls in love with the man. Meenakshi stealthily follows her love interest Surya wherever he goes and learns to speak Tamil by reading Tamil Pulp Fiction and watching ‘Midnight Masala’ at night to please her tall, dark and handsome man. But Surya proves to be a hard nut to crack. Meenakshi’s role is totally unidentifiable with a common Indian girl who is soul searching for her mate. Her melodramatic ways make you laugh only for a while but you soon start getting tired of it. Rani has given several remarkable performances in her past films but sadly ‘Aiyyaa’ fails to make the right use of her acting talent.

After the birth of Renesmee Cullen, Bella, who is now a vampire, finds herself enjoying her new life and abilities with Edward, Renesmee, Jacob, and the rest of the Cullen Family. But Irina, a member of the Denali Vampire coven, misidentifies Renesmee for an immortal child. Irina reports the Cullens to the Volturi, in revenge of her mate, Laurent. In a final attempt to survive, the Cullens begin to gather foreign Vampire clans and nomads to stand and witness against the Volturi. Know Your Fortune

FORTUNE

- Tarot reading by Nupur Heda

The reader’s idea about Tarot: A person’s life is a combination of that which is destined and that which can be controlled, but who is actually responsible for the complex occurrences in one’s life cannot be ascertained. The tarot is able to reflect and throw light upon these issues. They can be interpreted as the message of god, a true voice of god. For hundreds of years, the tarot has been one of the most important western mystical pathways for fortune telling, divination, self development and self awareness.
