Tell us about you 3 sisters?

I’m the eldest, Rithika Reddy, born and raised in Dubai, UAE whereas Pooja Reddy the middle sister is born in West Virginia, USA and raised in Dubai, and the youngest Neha Reddy, is born in Bengaluru, India and raised in Dubai as well, we are all 3 years apart from each other and are more like best friends than siblings.

We three sisters have extremely different personalities but it’s our vision and goals that always bring us together - said Neha Reddy.

Exactly, and to add that, we have a really strong bond and we share almost everything with each other and I think our closeness and how relatable we are comes across to our audience which is why and how we’ve built such a large & loyal social media community over the 10 years - said Rithika Reddy.

How has the journey been from Hyderabad to U.A.E?

Our Father is from Hyderabad and as you can tell from our surname “Reddy”, we are from Hyderabad by Origin. we love Hyderabad and always visit once in a while whenever we are in India. Hyderabad always has a special place in our hearts, and is home to us - said Pooja Reddy.

What keeps you guys going?

Neha Reddy: Being a social media influencer helps us meet so many inspiring people in the industry, as it helps us to grow by networking with such positive people.

Pooja Reddy: For me, it’s our strong social media community we have built through the years, we feel so connected to them and this keeps pushing us to grow more.

Rithika Reddy: For me, it has to be the brands after brands we work with and even though it’s been 10 years now, every new campaign is still exciting and different from the other.

What’s been your career highlight so far?

“Working with International brands is always a huge milestone for us, but the highlight of our career has to be Malabar Gold and Diamonds, as we worked with them on a huge campaign representing India in Dubai for Akshaya Tritiya that hit 1.9 Million in Impressions” says Rithika Reddy to Tulip Magazine.

What would you say is the secret behind your success?

“If you truly believe in yourself and what you do, others will start believing too. We only had a dream that we started with and now our dream is real. Consistency is key, and we have each other that kept pushing the other to do better” Says Neha Reddy

International Beer Day is a global celebration of one of the world's oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverages - beer. Observed on the first Friday of August every year, this joyous occasion brings together people from different cultures and backgrounds to raise their glasses in a collective toast. It aims to promote the appreciation of beer as a beverage that has been an integral part of human history and culture for thousands of years. International Beer Day is not just about the beverages themselves; it also celebrates the culinary aspect of beer.

Beer has a storied history that dates back thousands of years. The earliest evidence of beer production can be traced to ancient civilizations in Mesopotamia around 5,000 BCE. From there, the art of brewing spread across the world, with each culture adding its unique twist to the process.

Beer is made through a process called brewing. It begins with malted barley or other grains, which are soaked in water and dried to activate enzymes that convert starches into sugars. The resulting liquid, called wort, is separated from the solid grains and boiled with hops for flavour. After cooling, yeast is added to ferment the sugars into alcohol. Once fermented and conditioned, the beer is filtered, carbonated, and packaged for distribution and consumption. The brewing process can vary, leading to a wide array of beer styles and flavours.

Flavours of Beers

Beer comes in a wide variety of styles, each with its unique characteristics, flavours, and brewing techniques. Here are some of the most popular types of beers:

• Lager: Lager is one of the most widely consumed types of beer worldwide. It is fermented at low temperatures and generally has a clean, crisp, and refreshing taste. Common subtypes include American lager, pale lager, pilsner, and bock.

• Ale: Ale is a broad category that encompasses a range of beer styles. Ales are brewed with top-fermenting yeast at warmer temperatures, resulting in a more complex and robust flavour profile. Subtypes include pale ale, India pale ale (IPA), brown ale, porter, and stout.

• India Pale Ale (IPA): IPA is a type of pale ale that is heavily hopped, giving it a strong hoppy aroma and flavour. It can range from the traditional British-style IPA with a balanced bitterness to the more intense and citrusy American-style IPA.

• Stout: Stout is a dark, rich, and full-bodied beer known for its roasted malt flavours, which can include notes of coffee, chocolate, and caramel. Varieties include dry stout, sweet stout, oatmeal stout, and imperial stout.

• Porter: Porter is similar to stout but is generally less robust and has a more balanced flavour profile. It often features flavours of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee.

• Wheat Beer: Wheat beer is brewed with a significant proportion of wheat in addition to barley. It is known for its hazy appearance and often exhibits fruity and spicy notes. Varieties include hefeweizen, witbier, and American wheat beer.

• Pilsner: Pilsner is a type of pale lager that originated in the Czech Republic. It is characterised by its light colour, crispness, and a notable hop bitterness.

• Belgian Ale: Belgian ales come in a wide array of styles, each with its unique yeast strains and flavour profiles. They can range from light and refreshing to complex and spicy. Examples include Belgian Dubbel, Tripel, and Belgian Strong Golden Ale.

• Amber Ale: Amber ales have a balanced malt and hop profile, with a medium amber colour and a moderate level of alcohol. They often showcase caramel and toasty flavours.

• Sour Beer: Sour beers are intentionally brewed to be tart or acidic, often through the introduction of wild yeast or bacteria during fermentation. Examples include Berliner Weisse, Gose, and Lambic.

• Pale Ale: Pale ales are characterised by their pale to amber colour and moderate hop bitterness. They are known for their balance between malt sweetness and hoppy flavours.

• Bock: Bock is a strong and malty lager that originated in Germany. It often has a darker colour and a slightly sweet, caramel-like flavour.

Beer in Food

Beer is a versatile ingredient that can add depth and flavour to a wide range of dishes when used in cooking. It can be used in both savoury and sweet recipes to enhance the taste and aroma of various dishes.

• Beer-Marinated Tandoori Dishes: Tandoori dishes, such as tandoori chicken or tandoori paneer (Indian cottage cheese), are often marinated in a mixture of yoghurt, spices, and beer. The beer helps tenderise the meat or paneer while adding a subtle flavour.

• Beer-Battered Fried Snacks: Similar to other cuisines, beer is used to prepare batter for frying snacks like onion bhajis, pakoras, and vegetable fritters. The carbonation in the beer creates a light and crispy texture.

• Beer-Infused Seafood Curries: In coastal regions, especially in Goa and Kerala, beer is sometimes used in seafood curries to add a unique flavour and depth to the dish.

• Beer-Steamed Seafood: In some coastal areas, seafood like crabs or prawns are steamed with beer, spices, and herbs to create flavorful and aromatic dishes.

• Beer-Braised Meat Dishes: Beer is occasionally used in braising meat dishes, such as lamb or pork, to impart a distinct taste and tenderness to the meat.

• Beer-Flavoured Sauces and Gravies: In certain fusion dishes, beer is used as a flavouring agent in sauces and gravies, providing a hint of bitterness and depth to the dish.

• Beer-Infused Desserts: Beer can also find its way into desserts in India. For example, beer is sometimes used in cake recipes, imparting a unique flavour to the sweet treat.

The Woman Behind LensxStories!

Heading on to a distinctive pathway in 2016, I chose photography as my career. The clarity was strong enough for me to continue with my degree from Annapurna College of Film and Media, Hyderabad.

Since the path was so uncommon, I faced my share of struggles. But what kept me going was my passion and therein, my pursuit of it. I used to end my days by researching more and more about Fashion photographers, and they became my biggest source of inspiration. The industry is full of creative talent and I too have many picks for the category of best fashion photographers. However, I consciously chose not to succumb to one person's way of perceiving art. For me, art has to come with much creative freedom and choosing your perception.

As my brand name clearly defines LensxStories, there is a story behind every picture. Art is meant to liberate and add value to society in the simplest form or through high-end Fashion Photography. Discussing my aesthetic in detail, I would define it as one with darker undertones. My photographs’ warmth and shady tones make me explore so much that is not visible to the regular eye.

My biggest understanding of this creative world so far is not ever stop on a standard idea, because I believe there is no end to exploring and learning. Starting from zero, I have come a long way. My ultimate goal is to take Fashion Photography to an exceptional level.

I am aware of the industry’s heavy competition but also believe in my spirit of learning. What then keeps me going is the tokens of appreciation that my audience and loved ones shower on me. To be validated for your art is the biggest blessing, indeed.

I genuinely wish to encourage other female photographers to shine bright and proudly own their aesthetics. The ratio might be small for now, but we are progressing.

Plus, the struggle in the industry regarding commercials is still very valid. Unfortunately, creative push alone doesn't serve the purpose. I feel a lot of photographers are still not given that respect and priority. Artists work hard to pay their bills, give the best output to their clients, and contribute so much to the entertainment & art industry. Life is full of surprises and getting on with Shubharambh is no different for me. I never thought I would get into wedding planning services or anything related. I enjoyed the concept of wedding photography but never got indulged in this genre. Undoubtedly, a wedding is about making money. But the core remains central to the ceremony’s intention to create wonderful memories for your clients. Together with my friend, I have started a company called Shubharambh. For me, it is a journey that starts with us.

As a fashion photographer, I am sure I want to add my aesthetic to the wedding game. Taking wedding pictures in a typical way is not on my work list. The idea is to add more subtle tones to make the visual output more pleasing. Shubharambh is not just about covering weddings. Along with weddings, we provide event planning & décor services, photography and videography, catering, teaching sangeet, and other dance performances. I have a team of really hard-working people, who share knowledge and creativity to bring the best of the best for our clients. In a nutshell, if our clients are happy, so are we.

International Dog Day was established in 2004 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige. Inspired by her deep affection for dogs and the desire to raise awareness about the mistreatment and suffering of these animals, Paige launched the day with the intention of encouraging adoption and promoting responsible pet ownership. Since then, the event has grown exponentially, gaining global recognition as a time to appreciate and protect our canine companions.

Rubbing ice on my face usually feels refreshing. It tightens pores, reduces puffiness, and soothes redness, leaving my skin looking and feeling rejuvenated.
