What is a typical day like in your life?

My day starts very early in the AM. Most of my early morning hours are dedicated to my son and workout. By 9 am I am usually at the hospital attending patients till early evening. I make sure I see my parents every day outside the workplace too (we work together) In the evening it’s again my son and some housekeeping before dinner. Since I wake up early, I call the night early too Now, weekends are a whole different business so let’s not even get there

How did you get into the profession that you are in right now?

Well, more than I, this profession got into my family, I am fourth-generation doctor It’s like we don’t know anything else than being a doctor and we all love it. So, life’s good.

What does it take to be successful in the field you excel in?

The human touch, the personal connection, the trust- building and staying true to the oath that we will serve humanity above everything else. You can either be noble or commercial and we chose to be noble, in return it brings success

What do you do in your free time?

There’s no such thing as free time

Tell us a funny incident which happened with you?

Funny is a very relative word But a lot of people, when they don’t have anything real to talk about tell me I look like my child’s older sister, and I know they don’t mean it but they think I like to hear it and it’s very funny Or maybe not, idk

What inspires and motivates you?

The service my grandparents and parents did in this noble profession. They resisted the biggest temptation at the peak of its wave of commercialising health care I am proud of them and nothing inspires me more than them.

Anything you would like to share it with our readers?

Thoughts for Readers- Slow down, it’s ok not to be number one as long as you are doing well. Spend time with family and loved ones Respect your health Most importantly, work on leaving a better world behind for the next generation.

If you are given a genie and have to make 2 wishes what will you wish? Knowledge and Knowledge

What’s your daily dose of happiness?

My Son

If you are left in a supermarket and asked to pick up only 3 things what would you pick? I’ll pick up the supermarket itself

Zubair: One of the most cherished traditions during Ramadan is our annual sehri trip to the old city. There’s something magical about stepping into those bustling streets in the early hours, surrounded by the aroma of sizzling kebabs, freshly baked naan, and rich, creamy malai. The entire atmosphere is alive with energy vendors calling out their specialties, families and friends gathered around makeshift tables, and the faint echoes of prayers in the background. These late-night food adventures aren’t just about indulging in delicious street food; they’re about soaking in the essence of Ramadan the warmth of togetherness, the joy of shared meals, and the beauty of a city that never sleeps during this sacred month. Every visit feels like a journey through time, where traditions are honored, and new memories are made. No matter how many times we go, the charm of those sehri outings never fades, and thinking about them always brings a smile to my face.

2.What’s your go-to iftar dish that everyone looks forward to every year?

Zubair: Haleem is undeniably the heart of our iftar spread. Ramadan simply wouldn’t feel complete without it. This rich, slowcooked dish, with its velvety texture and deep, comforting flavors, is something we eagerly anticipate all year. The moment it’s served, the aroma of ghee, caramelized onions, and tender meat fills the air, bringing everyone to the table with excitement.

It’s more than just a dish; it’s a tradition that brings family and friends together, a symbol of warmth and togetherness after a long day of fasting. Whether it's homemade with a family recipe passed down through generations or picked up from our favorite local spot, haleem remains the highlight of iftar, making every Ramadan even more special.

Zara: Balancing the spiritual and social aspects of Ramadan is something we cherish as a family. We make it a point to dedicate time to both prayer and togetherness, ensuring that the essence of the holy month is truly felt in our home. Our evenings begin with quiet moments of reflection and prayer, attending Taraweeh together whenever possible, strengthening our faith as a unit.

At the same time, Ramadan is also about bonding and creating lasting memories. Our iftar gatherings are more than just meals—they’re moments of connection, where we pause from our daily routines to share stories, laughter, and gratitude. Whether it’s preparing the iftar spread together or enjoying post-dinner walks under the Ramadan-lit sky, we find harmony in blending the spiritual depth of the month with the warmth of family and community.

4.What’s one thing you’ve learned from fasting during Ramadan that has stuck with you throughout the year?

Zara: Fasting during Ramadan has taught us invaluable lessons in patience and self-discipline lessons that extend far beyond the month itself. Going without food and water from dawn to dusk is not just a test of physical endurance; it’s a reminder of inner strength, resilience, and the ability to control our desires. It reinforces the idea that true fulfillment comes from discipline, gratitude, and mindfulness.

These lessons stay with us long after Ramadan ends. Whether it’s facing challenges with a calmer mindset, practicing restraint in our daily lives, or being more mindful of our blessings, the values instilled during fasting shape our perspective throughout the year. Ramadan isn’t just a month of devotion; it’s a time of personal growth that continues to influence how we live, work, and connect with others.

THE SUJADS

1.What’s your favorite family tradition during Ramadan, and how do you make it special each year?

No one makes Biryani and mirchi ka salan along with an array of other dishes quite like her and we all look forward to this delicious Eid meal every year. Dressing up in Eid finery is another special something which we look forward to as a finale to the culmination of a month of rigorous spiritual activity.

2.Can you share a memorable moment from a past Ramadan that brings a smile to your face?

Sabiha: Among my most cherished memory is the one where my dadi, my paternal grandmother followed this tradition of offering us Eidi before which she would anoint the back of our hand with gulab ka ithar, a special Ether made from the essence of roses, the fragrance of which still fills my memory.

3.If you could describe Ramadan in three words, what would they be and why?

Sofiya: Ramadan is a time of year when people not only practice fasting by refraining from food for a particular time period but they fast from engaging in anything negative mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually which automatically elevates the energy and the spiritual and emotional vibration, making it a wholesome cleansing experience.

4.How do you balance the spiritual and social aspects of Ramadan within your family?

Sofiya: Families sit together to open/close their fast so what makes this month special is that all family members get to see more of each other by default in comparison to regular days where busy lifestyles do not necessarily allow for this.

In your opinion, what are the most important factors to consider when choosing a skincare specialist or aesthetician?

Choosing the right skincare specialist depends on your needs. A skilled aesthetician is ideal for treatments focused on radiance, hydration, and non-invasive solutions like facials, peels, laser hair removal, and collagen-boosting therapies. However, for deeper medical concerns—such as persistent acne, severe pigmentation, rosacea, or conditions needing prescriptions—a dermatologist’s expertise is essential. A great clinic provides access to both, ensuring you receive the right care at the right time. This means you can explore treatments for glow and rejuvenation with an aesthetician while seamlessly consulting a dermatologist when medical intervention is needed. Beyond credentials, also consider the specialist’s experience, personalized approach, hygiene standards, and client trust. After all, the best skincare journey is one where expertise meets empathy, and your skin’s health and beauty are equally prioritized.

Our goal is simple—healthy, confident skin that looks as good as it feels.

Can you describe how you integrate advanced technologies to create personalized aesthetic treatments?

Many people are interested in treatments like glutathione for skin brightening. What is your perspective on the use of glutathione, and how do you administer it?

Glutathione is widely discussed in the realm of skin brightening, we prioritize scientific accuracy over market myths. While many perceive glutathione as a 'skin whitening' treatment, the reality is that glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that plays a crucial role in cellular detoxification, reducing oxidative stress, and improving overall skin health. It works by neutralizing free radicals, enhancing cellular repair, and modulating melanin production—leading to a more even-toned, radiant complexion rather than artificial depigmentation. We stay ahead of advancements in skin health by integrating the latest in glutathione-based therapies, including NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) infusion therapy. NAD, a coenzyme essential for mitochondrial function and cellular energy production, enhances the effects of glutathione by increasing its antioxidant potential. This powerful combination supports skin repair, boosts collagen production, and promotes long-term skin vitality beyond just brightening.

How We Administer Glutathione at Cosmos:

IV Therapy: Intravenous glutathione, often combined with NAD, and other cofactors, ensures optimal absorption and maximum efficacy. This method is particularly effective for combating dullness, oxidative damage, and environmental stressors.

Oral & Topical Support: We supplement IV therapy with oral antioxidants and topical treatments to enhance and maintain results.

Holistic Approach: Unlike the unrealistic claims often seen in the market, we educate our patients on realistic expectations. True skin radiance comes from a combination of internal health, proper skincare, and professional treatments—not just a single molecule.

How do you ensure patient safety and satisfaction with treatments like laser hair removal and other advanced aesthetic procedures?

Patient safety and comfort are our top priorities, closely followed by patient satisfaction. Our approach ensures transparency, ethical practice, and effective results:

Comprehensive Consultations: Before any procedure, we conduct a detailed consultation, discussing medical history, expectations, and both the potential benefits and risks of treatment. We believe in complete transparency, ensuring our clients make fully informed decisions.

Ethical Recommendations: We only suggest treatments when we are confident they will provide real benefits. If a procedure is unlikely to meet a client’s expectations or address their concerns effectively, we communicate this openly.

Meticulous Pre- and Post-Treatment Care: Once a client chooses to proceed, we take every precaution before and after the procedure to maximize results and minimize risks.

Ongoing Support: We check in with our clients every two weeks to address any concerns and ensure they are following the prescribed post-care routine.

This approach not only ensures effective, long-lasting results but also fosters a relationship of trust and respect between us and our clients.

How do you personalize anti-aging treatments to suit the unique needs and skin types of your patients?

(PIH) and delayed collagen degradation, we customize treatment settings to optimize saAging is a complex, multifactorial process influenced by genetics, hormonal changes, environmental stressors, and lifestyle habits. We take a scientific, evidence-based approach to anti-aging, ensuring that every treatment is personalized to the patient’s unique skin type, concerns, and aging pattern.

Our process includes:

Comprehensive Skin Diagnostics: Using advanced assessment tools, we evaluate dermal thickness, hydration levels, collagen density, and elastin integrity. Given that Indian skin is prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation fety and efficacy.

Precision-Driven Treatment Protocols: Based on our analysis, we design a targeted anti-aging plan that may include:

Collagen-Stimulating Therapies: Ultherapy (FDA-approved microfocused ultrasound) for deep dermal tightening and HIFU for non-invasive SMAS-layer lifting.

Injectables: Neuromodulators like Botulinum toxin for dynamic wrinkles and hyaluronic acid-based fillers for volume restoration and facial contouring.

Bioregenerative Therapies: PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) to enhance skin regeneration and stimulate collagen production.

Energy-Based Rejuvenation: Fractional lasers, RF microneedling, and erbium glass lasers to refine skin texture, even tone, and improve elasticity.

Holistic and Long-Term Anti-Aging Strategy: Anti-aging is not just about immediate correction but also prevention and maintenance. We integrate dermatologist-prescribed skincare regimens, including retinoids, antioxidants, peptides, and medical-grade sunscreens to sustain results and prevent premature aging.

At Cosmos, we combine cutting-edge technology with deep dermatological expertise to deliver results that are effective, natural, and tailored to each patient’s unique skin biology. Our goal is to provide a seamless blend of science and aesthetics, ensuring that every client receives the highest standard of care for long-term skin health and rejuvenation.

Delay in Allu Arjun’s Next Is Justified!

While Pushpa grossed ₹1,800 crore globally, insiders argue that such numbers are not guaranteed for every film. Pushpa had brand value and massive openings aligned with Allu Arjun’s star power, but the same expectations cannot be placed on every project. Additionally, Atlee’s past hits have primarily followed a formulaic approach, making it uncertain whether his name alone can pull in a pan-India audience. Given these financial and strategic considerations, the Allu camp believes the delay in finalizing Atlee’s film is justified. Even Allu Arjun is also not in an immediate hurry to cash the craze of Pushpa because he realizes that there will be a huge celebration at the theatres whenever he arrives. Owing to the impatience of fans and hurried decisions, it is better to delay the process than get into a mess.
