She is a co-founder of Dog.alicious Dog Bakery she is 27 years old and comes from a CA background she has worked as an Accountant.

What is your daily routine like?

As both an accountant and a home baker, my day-to-day routine is a dynamic balance between my professional responsibilities and my culinary passion. Each morning, I embark on my commute to work, armed with a strong cup of coffee and a clear focus on my accounting duties. Upon arriving at the office, I dive into financial analysis, client meetings, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Once the workday draws to a close, I transition seamlessly into my role as a home baker. Whether it's whipping up batches of cookies for a client's order or experimenting with a new cake recipe, I relish the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of flavours and textures.

Ultimately, my dual roles as an accountant and a home baker complement each other, offering me a diverse and fulfilling daily routine that allows me to excel both in the office and the kitchen.

What inspired you to start a business specializing in treats and savouries for pets?

Me and my sister, Sreya, have always been pet lovers. Our dog, Noddy has been more than just a pet to me and my family. One always wants to provide their family with the best and that has exactly been the approach towards Noddy. We make sure we monitor his dietary habits and always try to pack as much nutrition in his food. We don't even encourage retail pet food, that's how conscious we are. And then, it struck us, why shouldn't all pets have access to nutritious, healthy, delicious treats? That's where the story of Dog.alicious began.

We baked a cake for Noddy on his birthday and he seemed to enjoy it. We then started baking for his pet friends and before we knew it, we were running a business! Orders were pouring in from all directions. Sreya and I were always keen to open a start-up and then we created "dog.alicious" the start-up we dreamt of.

Today, we are proud owners of a unique business. Dog.alicious is not just a dream, it's an ambition.

Being one of the first to start a business in this category how do you ensure drool-worthy treats for pets?

Being a pioneer in the pet treats business is an exciting opportunity to set a high standard for quality and innovation. Here's how you can ensure your treats are truly drool-worthy for pets:

Start by sourcing only the finest, human-grade ingredients for your cakes and treats. Work closely with veterinarians and pet nutritionists to develop treats that not only taste great but also provide essential nutrients for pets. Set your treats apart by offering a diverse range of flavours and textures that appeal to different preferences. Maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure the safety and hygiene of your treats. By prioritizing quality, nutrition, innovation and safety, you can ensure that your pet cakes and treats are not only drool-worthy but also trusted and beloved by pets and their owners alike.

A suggestion to a paw parent best way to celebrate their pets?

Celebrating your pet's birthdays with our business is a joyous occasion that allows us to connect with our customers and their beloved pets in meaningful ways. We offer exclusive birthday baskets and gift baskets to treat your pets to something special on their special day. By engaging our customers and their pets in this way, we not only celebrate but also strengthen our relationship with our community and demonstrate our commitment to the well-being of all pets.

How has the demand for pet treats, evolved over the years, and what trends do you foresee in the future?

The demand for pet treats has evolved significantly over the years, reflecting changes in consumer preferences, lifestyles, and attitudes toward pet care. One such trend driving the evolution of pet treats is the humanization of pets. Pet owners increasingly view their pets as members of the family and seek treats that mirror human food trends, such as organic, natural, and gourmet options. With a growing emphasis on pet health and wellness, there's a rising demand for treats that offer functional benefits, such as dental health, joint support, or skin and coat health. Treats with natural, wholesome ingredients and added vitamins and supplements are becoming increasingly popular. Pet owners seek treats that cater to their pet's specific preferences and dietary needs. Customization and personalisation options, such as tailor-made treat recipes, themed designs, and personalised packaging, are becoming more popular. In the future, we can expect these trends to continue evolving as pet owners become more informed and discerning about their pet's dietary needs and preferences. Additionally, technological advancements, such as 3D printing or personalised nutrition solutions, may further shape the landscape of pet treats, offering innovative and tailored options for pet owners and their furry companions.

If you were given a genie to grant 2 wishes what would yo wish for?

If I had the opportunity to make two wishes, I would wish for:

1. The Gift of Travel: I would wish for the ability to travel anywhere in the world instantly, at any time.

2. Magic Baking Skills: My second wish would be for the ability to bake with magical precision and creativity.

If you were left in a supermarket and asked to pick 3 things what will you pick? If I were left in a supermarket and asked to pick three things, I would choose:

1. Natural Flavour Enhancers: I'd select natural flavour enhancers such as peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and chicken broth.

2. Specialty Treat Molds: I'd choose a variety of speciality treat molds in fun shapes and sizes, such as bones, paw prints, or dog-themed designs.

3. Packaging Supplies: Lastly, I'd stock up on packaging supplies tailored to our dog bakery, including biodegradable bags, eco-friendly boxes and colourful ribbons or stickers.

What’s your daily dose of happiness?

My daily dose of happiness is deeply intertwined with the joy and companionship that my dogs bring into my life. Whether it's the enthusiastic tail wags and excited greetings when I return home, or the playful antics that never fail to bring a smile to my face. My dogs are a constant source of happiness and comfort.

Three must things you carry before leaving the house.

Three things I always make sure to carry before leaving home are: i. Keys ii. Phone. iii. Wallet

Lastly, what are your plans for expanding or diversifying your business offerings related to pet treats?

As we look to the future, we're excited to explore several avenues for expanding and diversifying our business offerings related to pet treats. We plan to continue innovating and developing new pet treat products to meet the evolving needs and preferences of pet owners. This includes exploring trends such as functional treats, novel protein sources, and unique flavor combinations. We aim to enhance our customisation capabilities, allowing pet owners to personalise cakes and treats for their furry companions even further. This could involve offering a wide range of flavors, shapes, sizes, and packaging options to cater to individual pet preferences and special occasions. We also plan to collaborate with other businesses, influencers, and organisations within the pet industry to expand our reach and offer unique experiences to pet owners. This could involve co-branded products, exclusive promotions, or joint events and campaigns. Above all, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in our products. We will continue to prioritize the use of premium ingredients, rigorous testing protocols, and transparent labelling to ensure the health and well-being of pets.

Summer2024 BEST OF PRINT FASHION TO TRY IN

Summer’s here and so is the revival of vibrant bold styles. After the cozy layered winter fashion which mostly consisted of layered solid, warm clothes, it is time to get rid of the thick clothes and slip into light, colourful clothes and what better way to do that than to pick up some fun printed clothes? So if you want to step into sun-soaked days looking nothing less than absolutely fabulous, this article is for you. Forget the heat and embrace the sun with the top trends in print fashion of the year

FASHION I MAY,2024 13 TULIP

FLORALS

What is summer without flowers? This classic print is a summer staple and keeps coming back every year, and so it is a very safe option to try on. You can go minimal or maximal with the flowers depending on your comfort level, and this print makes any wearer look elegant and sweet- just like a flower. We see a lot of flower motifs on sarees, western wear, and kurtis this year and tons of celebrities are jumping on the trend. And here Malavika Mohanan is wearing this off-white saree with colourful flower prints for contrast delivering the perfect summer feel, while Shraddha Kapoor with the red floral kurti shows how minimalistic floral print can still speak volumes without being extra.

FASHION I 14 MAY,2024 TULIP

ANIMAL PRINTS

A more bolder choice, animal prints are also back this season which goes with the fierceness of the heat this year, so try this out to look just as hot as the weather! Zebra stripes, cheetah spots and even full-on animals have been popping up in print and pattern fashion lately and it's nothing less than fabulous. Shilpa Shetty posted herself wearing this gorgeous parrot print saree which is a more subtle but still very much eye-catching approach to the animal print trend. And for a more timeless look, we have fashion stylist Sanjana Batra wearing a zebra print dress which gives off a very chic and intense feel, mirroring summer.

FASHION I MAY,2024 15 TULIP

STRIPES

Stripes are again something that came back with a bang this year, with an emphasis for vertical stripes. Vertical stripes are always preferred over horizontal ones in the fashion community because of their illusionary properties such as making you appear taller and slimmer, making it the go-to choice of models who want to emphasize their physique. Models Archana Anil Kumar and Pooja Mor both have showed up with vertically striped outfits this year, and completely pulled it off as well.

FASHION I 16 MAY,2024 TULIP

Another popular print trend that we saw was ink-inspired ones. Print that remind you of different types of ink blotches, stains and even ones that look like the ink has been brushed over the cloth took the spotlight in many people’s lookbook for summer. Sushant Divgikar has been spotted wearing an almost watercolour-inspired ink-splash dress while Shazahn Padamsee chose to wear a more vibrant ink-splash gown with bolder colours. This print is truly versatile and can evoke different feels depending on how you use it.

FASHION I MAY,2024 17 TULIP
INK

GEOMETRIC

Intricate geometric patterns are coming in hot this year. The symmetrical, uniformity of these prints makes the wearer feel more organized, put together and confident with minimal effort. Geometric prints look best on sarees or co-ord sets, in the picture, influencer Shrima Rai rocks this bold red and white geometric print co-ord set complete with a matching white bag and transparent heels, serving very “confident girlboss” energy.

FASHION I 18 MAY,2024 TULIP

ETHNIC

Ethnic prints are in style every season, but 2024 summer brings vibrant colours and dynamic designs into very loose silhouettes. The loose silhouette projects a relaxed look while also helping with air circulation in the summer. This print looks the best in kurthis, co-ord sets, and indo-western blouses. The picture shows Karishma Tanna in a red, loose, eclectic ethnic co-ord set combining all the elements of the perfect summer ethnic print.

FASHION I MAY,2024 19 TULIP

POLKA DOT

Although we haven't seen much of a polka dot action in the past few years, it is definitely coming back in 2024. Polka dots are another iconic motif for the summer, it radiates energy of being young, lively, playful and fun which perfectly reflects the sunshine season. Being easy to find, this print is something anyone can try and pull off while doing so. Jewellery

DesignerShaheen Abbas wearing a black polka-dot halter top is an ideal example for this trend

FASHION I 20 MAY,2024 TULIP

ABSTRACT

Abstract designs are probably the most popular designs at the moment with all the famous celebrities flaunting their hand on the trend. This type of print has a wide range of sub-niches ranging from avant-garde elegance to funky art pop, giving the freedom for self-expression and creativity without bounds. Actress Rakul Preet in her abstract green dress captures the essence of abstract print with its eccentricity and allure, and writer Sujata Assomul also dons abstract print but in a more minimalistic way, making it more sophisticated

FASHION I MAY,2024 21 TULIP

COLOUR BLOCKING

Colour block print is a slowly emerging trend in India, although it has been around for a few years, new ways of interpreting it is emerging this year. Colour blocking manages to create striking designs by using solid blocks of of colour that are usually opposite to each other in the colour wheel to create a contrast which turns heads. Designer Aparna Badlani wore a colour block print modern rendition of a saree for a runway show and it looked nothing less than spectacular.

The success story of FoodpreneurMohammad Mushtaq Hussain

A lot of successful food business stories have their origins in the backyard, or more accurately, in home kitchens. Today we bring to you another famous entrepreneur from the city, Mohammed Mushtaq Hussain, who started out with building on his mom’s recipes and 37 years later, has a renowned brand- The Parivar Group!

Scroll ahead to know more about his success story and his best tips for aspiring food entrepreneurs.

Tell us something about yourself?

It all started from the year 1980,where all the struggle to survive began. I moved to Dubai for a year to earn bread n butter back in the Yr 1981. I, along with my father & siblings established a stone of recognition under the name “Shama talkies “. This was the beginning of our journey in Hyderabad.

How did u become an entrepreneur?

Success doesn’t come overnight. We had to put in our sweat & blood together. My beloved mother who had a passion for cooking the authentic Hyderabadi delicacy suggested us to step into the food industry. In the Yr 1987, “ Pariwar dhaba” was established. My mother always taught us never to send any visitor at home /business empty stomach .That thought made a place in our heart. We were also the first ones in the city to start Lebenese /Arabian cuisine in the Yr 2003 at our restaurant Dastar @ Banjara Hills. No just in Hyderabad, we have also expanded and have 4 outlets in Canada as well. My sons (Md. Muqthar Hussain & Md.Mudassir Hussain) have always been on my side in all the ups & downs. Not just this, we are also the pioneers of the staycation concept. It was never trendy until in 2000 we started with it for family outing at the farmhouse “Mushtaq pariwar farmhouse”.

FEATURE I 34 MAY,2024 TULIP

What is the startup story behind your brand- The Pariwar group ?

As it says ..expansion is the key to success.I started off by trying to make a mark in the real estate with “Mushtaq pariwar builders”.With the blessings of Almighty ,family being by my side , passion in my mind ,eagerness to grow made it to the mark. Then came the Pariwar Dhaba. The dhaba establishment was not as easy as walk in the park .It was the most crucial period of our life. With over 250 varieties of dishes served everyday since 1987,maintaining the same taste is the most important aspect .Everything is freshly made .We never kept any frozen items. The work was tedious, we ended up standing continuously for 12-15 hours ,when there was not much supply of water & electricity. I Traveled around the world to explore new varieties of food is always on my mind . The star dishes at Parivar Dhaba- chicken pepper & salt ,tangadi kabab, Hongkong rice & Baghdadi chicken always have a special place on people’s taste .

What does it take to sustain a restaurant for above 30 years in the market ? How do you manage it?

Blessing from everyone is one the key to success. We also kept the consistency & string bond between us & customers intact .Our biggest satisfaction is seeing a smile on customers face after they visit our place .Along with taste ,neatness & quantity is also considered important.

Support from the family & the staff working along with us continuously. Some of the staff members r still with us who stood strong at the beginning. My sons have always been my pillar of strength.Always exploring something new, experimentation & never losing hope on any failure is the stepping stone to success .No work is small when we take it by heart .

What are your future plans?

Expansion of the pariwar in the coming years is the main target .My grandsons also joining the team is a proud feeling, young generation trying to make a mark in this competitive world . With the blessings from Almighty one more feather in our cap will be added soon “ pariwar dhaba” @ tolichowki .Never stop learning new things .The more you keep exploring, the more you keep growing .

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs who are starting out?

Success is achieved when we are not insecure /complex of others journey or fame .Being on straight path without any hesitation, lending a helping hand to anyone in need is a blessing in disguise .

MOTHER’S DAY

God could not be everywhere so he made mothers. - Rudyard Kipling

She is a warrior and a queen at the same time. She believes in loving unapologetically and unconditionally. No wonder then that there can be no one like a mother, who willingly dedicates her life to the ones she cares about.

Whether she is a stay-at-home mom or a working mother, she is a force to reckon with! She is the heart of her family who takes on multiple roles, that of a nurse, chef, teacher, playmate, accountant, cheerleader and the best of all, a protector!

She, who believes your happiness is a reflection of her own! On Mother's Day, she deserves to feel like the warrior queen that she is in real life. Remember, mum's the word! Happy Mother’s Day.

2. Advice you would have given your younger self about motherhood?

I would advise myself not to be harsh or quick to anger with my children. Handling them delicately is key. Also, I would emphasize the importance of avoiding excessive junk food and not putting too much pressure on them to study excessively.

The key lies in teaching them to voice their concerns instead of suppressing emotions with tears. Encourage open expression and dialogue about feelings. Additionally, it's crucial to instill the value of doing what is right, regardless of societal expectations or judgments

In todays environment, just letting girls be independent, look at how they face challenges and just be a guiding light than restrict and be strict that they do things behind your back and suffer in silence when things go wrong. The more open you are as a parent the more will they come to you with their fears doubts and if something goes wrong. And at that time instead of yelling , ask them what they want to do about it. DermatologistsCorner Insider Tips for Healthy Summer Skin

In the world of skincare, expert advice can make all the difference between a good routine and a great one. We have consulted with dermatologists in Hyderabad to provide you with optimal solutions. Get ready to find your routine that can enhance your skin health and glow this summer.

BEAUTY I MAY,2024 71 TULIP

Dr. Sandeep Golla, dermatologist at Saanvi’s Skin and Hair Clinic, pursued his childhood dream of becoming a doctor, particularly drawn to the field of dermatology due to his personal passion and interest.

“I have done my MBBS from Mamatha University, Khammam in 2008 and my master's in Dermatology from Sri Ventakeshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati in 2012. I got trained in Osmania for 6 months. I started my practice in January of 2013, having an experience of 11 years now. I specialize in Dermatology, Immunopathology, Paediatric Dermatology, Aesthetic Dermatology and Dermatosurgery.”

BEAUTY I 72 MAY,2024 TULIP

Q What are the most common skin concerns that people have in the summer?

In the summer months, individuals typically express worries regarding tanning, as well as issues such as skin damage from sun burs and heat, increased occurrence of pimples due to excess oil production, dryness resulting from lack of natural oils, and dehydration due to inadequate water intake.

Q What are some of the common mistakes that individuals make during skincare?

Individuals often have a tendency to cleanse their faces aggressively, apply heavy makeup, and applying sunscreen at inappropriate times Additionally, using face packs containing ingredients like tomato or yogurt can strip away natural protection, making the skin more sensitive to sun damage and pigmentation Overuse of toners, potent serums, or other skincare products is also not advised

Q What are some important products that people should use for their summer skin care routine?

During the summer months, Retinol Serum and Salicylic Acid Serum play a vital role in skincare. It's essential to use a good amount of sunscreen with an SPF of 50 Gel-based sunscreens are recommended for oily skin types, while cream-based ones are preferred for combination skin. For body protection, lotion-based sunscreens are necessary, and it's advisable to choose products with a +++ PA rating Additionally, opt for mild lathering soaps and face washes to maintain skin health.

Q What kind of face masks are more ideal for summer time?

Arbutin Collagen Masks work best in summer, tackling skin issues caused by the heat. These masks hydrate the skin and even out the skin tone. After using the mask, rinse with cold water.

Dr. Varnika JP, founder of Skora, pursued her MBBS from M R Medical College, in 2011 and her MD from J J M Medical College, in 2017. She also finished her MCh in Plastic Surgery from Gandhi Medical College in 2020. With over 10 years of experience, she is one of the leading dermatologists in Hyderabad.

“I was inspired to get into dermatology as most of the skincare products that are advertised are not really brown skin friendly. I wanted to raise awareness on how Indian skin is different from others and what specifically is the best suitable for our skin.”

BEAUTY I 74 MAY,2024 TULIP

Q What are some ways in which people can minimise tanning and hyperpigmentation?

I firmly believe that prevention is more effective than treatment. Start by applying sunscreen daily and ensure to reapply it every three hours. Incorporate sunscreen into your daily routine. If you're exposing your arms or legs, be sure to apply body sunscreen as well.

Q How to differentiate a good sunscreen from a bad one?

A sunscreen with an SPF of 40 or higher is recommended. Depending on your skin texture and type, you can select the appropriate sunscreen For oily skin or acne-prone skin, I suggest waterbased sunscreens such as Isdin, which offer SPF 50 protection without causing irritation or leaving a white residue For dry or flaky skin, a cream-based sunscreen like UVDoux is ideal For individuals with an extreme combination of skin types or those prone to tanning easily, Biore is a suitable choice

Q Are there any natural methods for maintaining a healthy skin?

Before starting on any natural skincare method, I recommend conducting a patch test to ensure its compatibility with your skin. As for a natural face mask, I suggest combining gram flour (besan) with rose water and a dash of turmeric. This mask helps in detanning, while the rose water acts as a toner

BEAUTY I MAY,2024 75 TULIP

Dr. Brahmananda Reddy, founder of Vernon Group of Skin Clinics, pursued his career as a dermatologist from University of Hertfordshire in 2010 and a fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine from University of Greifswald, Germany in 2012. He is a member of International Society of Hair Restoration (ISHRS) and a member of Asian Association of Hair Restoration and Surgeons (AAHRS).

“I like to keep learning something new every day. In this industry, technology is always growing and it keeps the student in me alive. With the new technology and use of AI, I can show my patients what the treatment will look like and how their skin will change after a procedure. All these constant changes are what kept in this field for so long.”

BEAUTY I 76 MAY,2024 TULIP

Q How can one differentiate between skin dryness and skin dehydration?

Skin Dryness occurs when the skin produces less oil. If your skin feels excessively dry after washing your face, or if notice rough patches or cracks, it may indicate dryness. Lack of colour or lack of glow in the skin typically signifies dehydration.

Q How to care for dryness and dehydration?

For dehydration, adequate water intake is essential. You can also incorporate a variety of liquids along with water such as fruit juice or coconut water, preferably without preservatives

As for dryness, make sure to apply moisturizer every day For those wanting to maintain skin hydration, I suggest opting for a lightweight moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid. For individuals with extremely dry skin may benefit from using a glycerine-based moisturizer, known for its longlasting effects and ability to preserve the natural oils.

Q Any lifestyle factors that people need to avoid in summer?

I advise against using excessive amounts of soap and instead suggest opting for a gentle body wash or cleanser. A small amount of body wash or a mild cleanser should be adequate. Refrain from using any skin-lightening creams or lotions

BEAUTY I MAY,2024 77 TULIP

Dr. Harsha K, is a dermatology resident at Osmania Medical College and General Hospital, Hyderabad.

“I started my residency in October 2023. I chose dermatology as it is a very versatile clinical branch and offers a good work-life balance.”

Q Could you recommend some good brands for summer skincare?

Some good brands for sunscreens are Photostable and Suncros They are both containing SPF 50+ and a +++PA. Episoft has good products for sunscreens as well as moisturisers Atogla also has a good variety of creams and moisturizers.

Q Are there any specific recommendations for different skin types (dry, oily, etc)?

During the summer season, individuals with dry skin may find relief with a moisturizing lotion Conversely, individuals with oily skin may benefit from showering twice daily and using a nonfoaming body/face cleanser, especially in areas with higher humidity

Q What advice would you give to those interested in maintaining a healthy skin?

Embracing a healthy lifestyle, gaining insight into your skin's characteristics, and consulting certified dermatologists are essential steps in making informed decisions for your skincare amidst the abundance of available information

AndrewLeland,TheCountryoftheBlind:A MemoirattheEndofSight

One of my most recommended books of the year is Andrew Leland’s investigative memoir, The Country of the Blind. Since his teenage years, when he was diagnosed with a rare eye disease, Leland has watched his vision recede around the edges and waited for the moment when he’d officially be declared “blind.” But it turns out the borders between sightedness and blindness are more porous than that, and at middle age, he determines to learn everything he can about his changing condition and a community that he feels both welcomed by and estranged from. He attends a convention of the National Federation of the Blind in Florida, travels to Colorado to become a student at the Colorado Center of the Blind, teaches himself to read braille, explores the art and activism of blind artists and activists. With wit (and a few dad jokes), he talks to his wife and son about their experiences, and as a consummate reader, he delves into the lives of his literary predecessors (here he is on Borges). A prolific podcaster, Leland knows how to take his audience on a journey as informative as it is profound.

KatieWilliams,MyMurder

Who wouldn’t want to read a speculative sci-fi murder mystery, featuring clones, a serial killer, and a real who done it? Well, me I scare easily. But Williams’ novel is a layered portrayal of Lou, a new mother, navigating the realities of parenthood, female friendship, and marriage. She just happens to be the last victim of serial killer Edward Early. Recently brought back to life, via cloning and a government Replication Commission, she must attend a “serial killer survivors group,” although the women here aren’t survivors at all, but other clones. Have their lives been solved by joining the world of the living? Is there something creepy about Lou’s husband? Why won’t Lou’s baby bond with her (is it because her cloned body is missing a C-section scar)? With thriller-like pacing and not-quite-this-world elements like super-advanced driverless cars and VR video games, My Murder was one of my favorite books I’ve read this year. MarianaEnriquez,tr.MeganMcDowell,OurShare

I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Mariana Enriquez but I was unprepared for how much I would love this, her first novel translated into English. It’s an epic about family and gender and growing up and Argentinian politics, utterly human and glorious in the face of terrible darkness, and it completely consumed me for a week. I found myself living and dreaming inside this book, in the same way I felt about David Mitchell’s The Bone Clocks and some of the chunkier books of Stephen King’s canon. “And then a door closed inside the house” was the scariest sentence I read in any novel this year, but it is only one of several images that have stuck with me: a boy watching two men embrace, golden nails on a blackened clawed hand, a father driving with his son down dusty backroads, young lovers sitting together enraptured by each other and London and the world

Aamir Khan’s chat with Shah RukhSalman leaves fans eager

Aamir Khan has revealed that he recently had a chat with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan about making a film together. Well, fans can’t keep calm now. Aamir Khan, fondly known as Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, recently graced The Great Indian Kapil Show. This marked the actor’s debut on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show and was worth the wait. He won hearts with his honesty and relatability and impressed audiences with his natural comic timing. One of the biggest highlights was when he remembered running in PK (2014), with no clothes on and only a radio covering his modesty. Aamir left us all in splits. Well, an unseen clip from the episode has now gone viral.

When Anushka Sharma revealed why she takes long

breaks between films

Anushka Sharma had once said that she doesn't “need to fill up my calendar to justify my credibility as an actor”. Anushka had said, "It’s so hard for people to believe that someone would like to take time off to be rejuvenated. You shouldn’t deny yourself that because it’s important to be able to think fresh. Then you can take the right decisions. You need to have a balanced mind to take the right calls in life. I’ve been reading scripts. I’m dying to sign a great script and get back on the set. That’s what I love doing the most. I want to feel creatively charged."

Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi
Ki Jaan is still struggling to cross the 100 crore mark at the box 1.

Sonali Bendre says she never felt ‘on top of

my

game’ as an actor

In the interview, when Sonali was asked what she thinks about her journey, she said: “I didn't really think of it like that, because I never thought I was on top of my game, clearly didn't feel that that's still to happen. Yeah, I genuinely feel that it never felt like I was on top of my game. When I got into the industry, I was not trained as an actor. I was not trained as a dancer. I was just fumbling and learning on the job. That kept me nervous and I never really enjoyed the journey. When you're on top of the game, and you're enjoying the journey. You're enjoying what you're doing on a day-to-day basis. I was too scared.”

Imran Khan to make his comeback with this comedy film

Imran has finally locked in his comeback project, nearly eight months after he hinted at the possibility of returning to movies last year. He will star in and as Happy Patel in a quirky comedy produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The film is a laugh-riot and is set in a familiar yet uniquely fresh world, reminiscent of Imran's previous works. Shooting has already commenced in Goa.”

When Chris Hemsworth got frustrated playing Thor

While Chris has always been grateful for his career-defining role as Thor, he confessed that he grew frustrated with the character while playing him in four standalone Marvel films and additional Avengers movies.“Sometimes I felt like a security guard for the team,” Chris said, adding, “I would read everyone else’s lines, and go, ‘Oh, they got way cooler stuff. They’re having more fun. What’s my character doing?’ It was always about, ‘You’ve got the wig on. You’ve got the muscles. You’ve got the costume. Where’s the lighting?’ Yeah, I’m part of this big thing, but I’m probably pretty replaceable.”

Anne Hathaway says she's been sober for 5 years

Anne Hathaway, 40, had said she quit drinking in 2019 when she drove her kid to school during a hangover. “I didn't love that one,” she said. Anne said that while she doesn't talk about it often, she's proud that she's been sober for over five years. She considers it a “milestone.” “Forty feels like a gift. The fact of the matter is I hesitate at calling things 'middle age' simply because I can be a semantic stickler and I could get hit by a car later today. We don't know if this is middle age. We don't know anything,” she said.

Dwayne Johnson's tardiness cost producers $50 mn

Dwayne's behaviour also got him in the bad books of his co-stars, Vin Diesel (Fast and Furious franchise) and Ryan Reynolds (Red Notice). His feud with Vin is well documented but the report mentions even Ryan had a fight with him and they refused to speak with each other for years after that. While this scene feels straight out of an oldschool film, Govardhan uses this opportunity to issue a threat in return. It is this scene that leaves the antagonist and the audience shocked.

Mrunal Thakur says she lost films as parents did not approve of intimate scenes

In the interview, Mrunal said: “I was not really comfortable doing scenes which were intimate, like romantically. I would just get scared, I’d just say no to a film, but how long could I say no? There was a point I had to sit down with my parents and tell them that ‘Papa, I cannot miss a part because sometimes it’s there, it’s not my choice.’”She further continued, “As much as I wanted to do a film, I had to drop because there was a kissing scene involved. As an actor, you need to be ready because sometimes that’s the demand (of the scene). If you are not comfortable, you can tell, you can talk about it but I kept missing out on films because of that.” The actor revealed how her parents were initially not okay with her doing films and leaving college. Her father did not agree at first when she said that she had got an offer for a show. Mrunal added that she had to manage her work and college; and then when her attendance fluctuated, her father told her to do the show with full focus.
