HR Managers discuss about Employee Experience at TBS The Employee Experience round table organised by InnoIT, a talent recruitment company, was held at TBS Barcelona last November with the collaboration of professionals from Zinio, mytaxi, Roche and Massimo Dutti. They shared their own experiences and challenges as HR managers in highly competitive environments with the audience. The issues tackled during the round table were, most notably, onboarding and the retention of international employees, the recruitment of millennial talent and technological profiles, and the use of new technologies to improve the experience of employees. During her presentation, Victoria Marín—a specialist in HR and talent acquisition at Zinio, a company that specialises in digital newsstands—focused on a key issue in an increasingly globalised work environment: the needs of highly international personnel. Marín highlighted the case of Zinio, a company with employees from over 30 different countries: "The important thing is aligning the needs of the company with the needs of the personnel. For example, the majority of our workers hail from other countries and want to visit their families, so at Zinio we established a policy that allows up to a month of remote working."
Human Resources consultant Carmen Extremera, who has over 20 years’ experience as a Director of Human Resources at Massimo Dutti, touched upon the opportunity that digitalisation presents for improving the experience of both employees and clients.

Marc Saborit, a specialist in recruitment for fastgrowing teams, who is currently head of HR at mytaxi Barcelona, emphasised the importance of incorporating the whole team in the recruitment process: "If a member of our staff recommends a candidate, for us that is the ultimate recommendation letter. But you should always get the approval of every member of the team who will be working with them; everyone must give the OK before the final offer is made.”
