Conspiracy theorists: “Birds of a feather....” “Flocking together” are conspiracy theorists, Estonian Jüri Lina and Canadian Henry Makow who seem to look at things through the same prism. Lina: “The most important duty of freemasonry is to glorify the Jews.” (Lina quoting Rabbi Stein.) Makow: “This is the mind game played by Satanists – Com munist Jews and Freemasons – who control government and the mass media.” Lina: “The Jewish Freemason pyramid controls 80 percent of the economy of the capitalist countries and up to 90-95 per cent of the information media.” Makow: “We have been con quered by a lie generated by the Illuminati controlled mass media” Lina: “Under the symbol of the Illuminati and freemasonry – the red rose – the socialists are after our souls.” Makow: “This death wish is administrated by Organized Jewry and Freemasonry which itself is Jewish Cabalism (Satanism) for goyim.” Lina: “Freemasonry is Judaism for gentiles. It is based on the Cabala and is the executive political organ of the Jewish financial elite.” Makow: “The Rothchilds have all the money in the world. Now they want total control.” Lina: “The Freemasons created the United States of America as an effective base for their encompassing activities and to attain their utmost aim – world supremacy.” Makow has a much wider brush with which he paints the woes of the world: “The coro navirus pandemic is a media creation, fake news, the biggest psychological warfare stunt in history.” “They have drones that can monitor a person’s tempera ture and coughing. They can quarantine anyone they like.” “The essence of Judaism is to take God’s place, destroy Christianity and dispossess nonJews culturally and materially, goals exemplified by Com mu nism which rabbis equate with Judaism.” Makow doesn’t let any so cietal development off the hook: “The Rockefellers alienated

women from men,” “Feminism is an excellent example of how the central banking cartel uses the awesome power of the mass media (i.e. propaganda) to brainwash women.” “When the issue of worldly power is settled, a husband’s sense of self expands to encompass his wife. She becomes apart of his ego.” “By attacking the social fabric, feminists inflict more damage to Western society than Communists ever dreamed.” Other than taking issue with the same ills of society, Makow and Lina seem to have a a mutually beneficial relationship. Makow endorses, praises and promotes Lina’s films and books on numerous web sites. An old Estonian saying goes something like this: “Show me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are.” Then one begs the question why Lina gets ample video time on Estonian World Review to boost his views. Is it urgent news that people need to know? Lina and his ideological compa triots have made their case for decades. It’s “old news”. But shouldn’t the reader become fa miliar with controversial opin ions? Of course, and these par ticular opinions are instantly available on hundreds of web sites. It has been suggested that EWR is directly complicit in supporting and promoting Lina’s views. Lina has previ ously written a piece entitled “The Communist take-over in Estonia”, Lina states that “Moscow made preparations to incorporate those states (Baltic, ed.) in the Soviet Empire. … The extremist Jews of course played the key role in this action.” There is no mention of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, and its crucial part in the Soviet invasion of Estonia – historical actuality that all repu table Western scholars affirm. Lina does describe the harm that the repressive and brutal Soviets and with Communist ideology inflicted on the captive nations of Central and Eastern Europe. However his references involving an unproven con spiracy encompassing Judaism, Freemasonry, the Illuminati, the New World Order, the Roth childs, Satanism, etc., seriously detracts from the Stalin-Hitler partnership, the root determi nant of events leading to the 50 year repressive occupation of Estonia. It does a disservice to

The Estonian government has approved the coronavirus exit strategy, which has also taken into account proposals from the Riigikogu and other relevant bodies. Prime Minister Jüri Ratas (Center), in his twin role as per son in charge of the emergency situation, to use the official par lance, emphasized that the pre requisite for the lifting of re strictions was continued com pliance with practices such as proper hygiene, adhering to the 2 + 2 rule (maximum two peo ple gathering in public, families excepted, minimum two meters’ distance from others when in public), and wearing masks where necessary. “The exit strategy provides an overall strategic framework which allows for the necessary management decisions in exit ing the crisis, especially on the government committee,” said Henry Kattago, Strategy Di rector at the State Chancellery, according to a government press release issued late on Monday night. “The strategy does not de scribe in detail the steps taken out of the crisis for different areas of life, possible additional support measures, detailed guidelines for the easing of restrictions, special conditions or other circumstances. All these more detailed nuances will be further analyzed at other decision-making levels,” Kat tago added. Jüri Ratas stated that the aim of the exit strategy is to give Estonia a comprehensive ap

the reader. This writer rejects any form of censorship and fully supports the freedom of expression, in deed even the right of the most dubious and outlandish ideas to be published in print and posted on the internet. However, no tions of good taste, the rejection of information derived from du bious sources and the repudia tion of hate-filled diatribes could still govern the deci sion-making of web site editors, especially in our community, whose land of heritage is direct ly involved in the historical analysis. It’s said that conspiracy theories survive because many people tend to blame all of the world’s woes on some single enemy that they can fight, rather than a complicated array of intertwined forces that have yet to be controlled. Both Lina and Makow paint the world with a breath-takingly broad brush. But do they have any solutions for these perceived massive problems? (Will return to this theme in a future issue.) proach to overcoming the coro navirus crisis and to determine the basis and stages of easing restrictions, taking a scientific approach. “We have had to work to gether to get the virus under control, and have managed to overcome the most difficult points so far. We can now gradually return to everyday life, mitigating the effects of the virus on society and supporting our people and businesses to emerge stronger and more cohe sive,” Ratas said, adding that the cabinet will make decisions on when and how to ease restrictions on a weekly basis. The exit strategy has not been without its critics, who have criticized what they said was its ambiguity, and a lack of dates within the plan. Interior minister Mart Helme (EKRE) said last week that the government could not publish exact dates, implying that it might lead to resuming normal life ahead of those dates. Helme confirmed that the government also has a more detailed exit plan in hand, with specific dates. Three sub-section plans are to be drawn up with relevant partners to agree on economic, health and border-opening ac tivities, ERR’s online news in Estonian reports. Thematic action plans over a longer period of time are also to be prepared by the relevant ministries. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications will prepare an economic re covery action plan for the im plementation of the strategy next month, involving stake holders, and is to specify economic indicators. The Ministry of Social Affairs is to draw up a health system preparedness plan, to deal with any new outbreaks,

including the development of an early detection and contact monitoring system. This is planned for May 2020 at the latest. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in co-operation with partner countries and stakehold ers, is to draw up an action plan for the free movement of goods and people. The strategy will also com prise economic indicators and cover higher and vocational education in its approach to easing restrictions in that field. A number of proposals also addressed in detail the specific conditions and guidelines for easing restrictions – These will be forwarded to the relevant authorities, which will analyze the specific conditions for easing restrictions and develop guidelines. Last week, the document was sent to Riigikogu factions and partners. During the public consultation, the factions of the Riigikogu and the members of the Riigikogu and nearly 15 non-governmental organizations submitted their proposals for the exit strategy. The exit strategy is divided into three stages. The first covers the escalation of the out break, and the second stage, which Estonia has entered al ready, stabilization in terms of medical indicators, when phas ing out restrictions that have been imposed can begin. The third stage involves a return to normal life, which requires, among other things, preparedness for any potential future virus outbreaks. Stage 1 has already begun, according to the government’s website, which included resto ration of planned, non-coronavi rus-related medical treatments. The established restrictions have been set in chronological and priority order, and their im pact on the spread of the infec tion is being assessed. Restric tions will be relaxed step by step under certain conditions, if agreed indicators allow.

Public events in Estonia barred to end of June, major events through August ERR, April 2020 No public events are to take place in Estonia in the months of May and June, the government announced Monday night, as part of its ongoing strategy dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. This means that public events celebrating Victory Day (Võidu püha) on June 23, and midsummer’s eve (Jaaniöö) starting the evening of the same day, are off the table. The government has also said that no major events are to take place through to the end of August, following a cabinet meeting discussing public events scheduled for the upcoming months, though the government says it was too early to say whether smaller public gatherings with a lim ited number of attendees might be possible in July and August. The governments line followed recommendations of the coronavirus scientific advisors.
