This year, the Friends are striving to raise funds to support the general operations of the library. This could include purchasing materials and supporting existing programs including the bookmobile, as well as assisting in the process of updating the Young Adult and Reference sections. Tickets are just $10 for an “adults only” (must be 21 or older) evening filled with the smells and sights of desserts running the gamut of cookies to cream puffs; from truffles to elaborately decorated cakes. A vast selection of wines, beers, coffees, and champagnes will be available to quench your thirst. The Silent Auction has a wonderful selection of items for bidding. Music by local musicians will be heard from one end of the library to the other for your listening enjoyment. For a chance to win $1,000 or $500, buy your tickets to this wonderful event and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow library supporters. You do not need to be present to win. What a simple enjoyable way to support your local library! Tickets can be purchased at the library or from any Friend member. 14
